Ten years old... that’s really crazy, considering that’s longer than half my life. Anyways, HUGE shoutout to all the mods and admins who work so hard to keep this place good! Thank you guys so much for all that you do, you guys ought to feel very proud that your forum has made it ten years! What’s your favorite thread, PM, etc. you’ve participated in? Why? Probably TLT. That place is so absolutely, wonderfully crazy, and there have been multiple times that I’ve had to stifle laugher in public places. What conversation made you die of laughter? None come to mind specifically at the moment, but there are thousands of gems scattered over the forums that I’ll read and just chuckle a little. What time did someone here make you feel really happy? Whenever I’ve shared my pencil sketches here, I always get such positive feedback, and it makes me feel good. Thank you guys for that! What’s one of the posts that made you reread it in awe? Some of those theories... man, they can really just blow your mind. Those, or some incredible RP posts. (Especially in the Alleyverse) What moment of your own are you super proud of? My 1000th post. Over thirty upvotes for some memes I poured my heart and soul into... What time on the Shard might you want to relive for a day? Around winter or so last year, maybe early spring or something... those were good times

The red spaces right after free parking (I forget what it is) are the statistically most likely places to land on, so I always go for those. Once you get a monopoly on them, you’re unstoppable!

I felt like I should say something, and if you know me at all, you know I usually don’t talk about things like this, so forgive me if this sounds a little rough (I’ve also not kept up with the news that much, but I know the general picture) No one wanted George Floyd to be murdered. Not you, not me, and probably not anyone on this forum. You could ask anyone, and 99.9% of the time (yes there is that 0.1% of truly bigoted and racist people whose views of the world are skewed and absurd, but let’s not talk about that right now) will say that Mr. Floyd shouldn’t have died. Judging by his topics in the books, and the themes that he portrays time and time again, I’m sure that Brandon Sanderson does not support the death of Mr. Floyd. And surely, his silence doesn’t indicate so. Of course, I don’t know why Brandon has remained silent on the topic. And I’m not accusing him of doing anything wrong by not saying anything. There are a host of reasons why he might have chosen to not speak on something like this, many of which have been pointed out on this thread (look at Nathranking’s post), but when it comes down to it, I don’t know. And ultimately, we need to remember that it isn’t our decision. Brandon is his own person, and I will choose respect that.

Basically you think of any location in the Cosmere. It can be somewhere broad (like Roshar) or it can be somewhere really specific (like the one just guessed). You think of five clues to give, and basically when everyone is done guessing for one clue, you give them the next. The person who guesses the place gets to give clues for the next round.

In very, very rare circumstances. Taking away somebody’s life is a horrible, detestable, and heinous thing to do. To exercise you’re agency over theirs and forcibly remove them from life is awful, and the world would be a better place without any murder or killing. That being said, the only times I would kill would be if all my other options were gone (I couldn’t run away, call the cops and have them get here in time, disarm the man somehow, literally any way that I wouldn’t have to kill) and someone threatened my family, loved ones, or me with clear and present danger. I would absolutely hate to do it, and would look for anyway around it, but in defense of innocent lives, I would kill.
