    I’m gonna speak on behalf of common sense here and say yes! Absolutely! Another thing I’m thankful for is change. Although often uncomfortable and sometimes even opposed to change, I find great comfort in the fact that bad things can and do become better. People can change and take themselves to better places, removing themselves from the bad and surrounding themselves with good. Situations can change, and suddenly something that has been stressing them out can turn into something that brings relief and comfort. All that to say, bad things do get better, and I’m thankful because of it.

    I will be absolutely shocked if Thaidakar is not Kelsier. Like, I’m 100% sure. Not a shadow of a doubt. The thing that’s throwing me off is the use of the word “avatar”. It makes me think of Autonomy... Which would make things a heckuva lot more interesting if Kelsier is connected to her somehow, and therefore maybe fighting against Sazed as well.

    Yes I rhymed on purpose. So Cultivation has suddenly become one of the biggest influences on the Cosmere, in literally the space of a chapter or two. She doesn’t necessarily have control over Tod, but she’s a giant influence and could easily guide him where she wants. And she’s maybe a dragon. All that to say, what is she going to do next? She could easily keep trying to do good on Roshar, contain Odium in some fashion, etc. Or... she could begin a conquest on the Cosmere. Prune the “fools in charge”, as Tod says. Which likely means bloodshed. A lot of it. Thoughts, theories, or speculations?

    Drat! You beat me to it, I was right about to make a new thread! Anyways, something that I’m really thankful for in my life is school. I’ve been able to attend in person a lot longer than a lot of others, and that’s been a huge blessing to me. I enjoy being there in person, with my friends, much more than staying at home and trying to focus for 7 hours a day by myself. I’m lucky to receive an education that many people aren’t able to enjoy. Thanks to all you teachers and other school workers out there! I appreciate everything that you guys do!

    Sorry! I meant to say that for the majority of history men have (wrongly) largely been the only ones in power; if I’m thinking of this correctly, international women’s day in part is celebrating the relatively recent empowerment of women (an excellent thing). So when Bearer said that no one celebrates men enough, I responded and meant, in essence, “well men have been in power in the world for so long so we’ve had plenty of time being recognized across the world” And I just used “masculinity” to describe that, but I guess “men” would’ve been more accurate for my purposes.
