    ¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo a todos! ¡Espero que todos disfruten de su día hoy! Para aquellos de ustedes que no saben, Cinco de Mayo no es el Día de la Independencia de México, es un día de recuerdo. Es cuando celebran cómo una pequeña milicia de soldados mexicanos ofendió a más de 6,000 soldados franceses invasores. Esto dio a México una chispa de esperanza, y unos cinco años más tarde derrocaron a la flipendida monarquía francesa. ¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

    Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your day today! For those of you who don’t know, Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico’s Independence Day, it is a day of remembrance. It is when they celebrate how a small militia of Mexican soldiers fended off over 6,000 invading French soldiers. This gave Mexico a spark of hope, and about five years later they overthrew the fledgling French monarchy. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

      My dad served an LDS mission in Mexico, and I have studied the language for a while.

      Sorta kinda similar, my uncle served one to Chile. And I plan to serve one :)
