  1. And then?
  2. If they know where it is probably. That was why Ruin wanted to find it so badly.
  3. The way I see it shards have free and invested power. Invested power exists in the CR and PR. Free exists in the SR. When Preservation stuck part of Ruin in the PR Ruin was no longer able to access that power.
  4. Looks like you struck out. Impressive you managed on your first try to stump the greatest sanderfans in the world. I am afraid I can only give you speculation. It is mentioned by Suit via radio that one of the passengers on the train might be something special. They became a casualty. I personally think it was a worldhopper with some kind of investiture that Irich hopped to exploit.
  5. He did they just were not enough. That is actually why he is associating more with SA characters then he does in most novels. He wants to get a spren off world.
  6. It was the most reliable point of access to and from the CR(before Kel destroyed it). There was a whole economy that went on down there. That is how Felt(one of the Venture's spies) got offworld.
  7. It is pretty clearly a living blade(the way it glows) which gives credence to the idea that she is reviving it.
  8. No that is what I am saying. You would need much less lerasium to be as good as a mistborn in a given power. If you burned the same amount you would be much more powerful then that mistbron at one thing.
  9. It depends on the amount of lerasium you have. If Eland only ate half the bead he would have been considerably less powerful. If he had alloyed it with pewter and used it that way he would have been able to do some pretty freakish things (throw cars at people barehanded). Also no law exists that states that something possible has to be cool. Maybe even people who knew it was possible would just have not done it but think of the possibilities of a world where lerasium is plentiful and only a select few choose to alloy. What could an electrum misting see? How would you outfight a thug? What if someone chose to just use the four physical and four enhancement metals(the ones Vin uses in book 1-gold and atium )?
  10. You get a much more powerful misting. In your hopefully peaceful day to day life some of the metals are not going to be worth much(why would you bother being a thug or coinshot?) but some would be (soothing rioting bendalloy). Would you rather be a pathetically weak mistborn or the most powerful soother in scadrain history?
  11. They could be restoring the blade.
  12. That sounds like a video game or anime character but I do agree that Navani would make an interesting one.
  13. I have to admit. I would rock a set of shardplate that looks like that.
  14. Welcome!
  15. Not really. Shan was overconfident.
  16. It could be that or it could just be that Alethi woman often where infused gemstones. In that context Navani(or whoever this is) would just be a snazzy dresser.
  17. How did you become the all powerful Mods that command our allegiance?
  18. It looks like other fanart I have seen of Navani. Her skin my imply Azish but different skin tones are common in Alethkar and she has a safehand sleeve meaning she is Vorin.
  19. I mean So in summary Trell is related to a shard and that guy on taldain. This implies autonomy pretty strongly. He says it is not Endowment, it is obviously not Ruin or Presrevation, Dominion, Devotion and Ambition, are all splintered I also doubt it is Cultivation or a resurrected Honor(not their MO). That leaves you with Odium or Autonomy and Odium is trapped(possibly killed as of BoM).
  20. That is a common misconception. Political power can be created. That is what Gavilar did. In doing so he actually made the highprinces more powerful. Same for many high ranking nobbles.
  21. If you move the goal posts you can get almost any group of people to fit any description. The point that a US politician for example would not last 10 seconds in alethkar is true. However I do stand by my argument. In simplistic terms the Alethi are bad at deciding what they want and generally pretty bad at getting it. Sadeas is unique in that he new what he wanted but he was also pretty bad at getting it. Given his methods I would be kind of surprised if his death had occurred in any other manner.
  22. I would see that as supporting me. Basically Identity works a lot like pewter in the CR.
  23. I agree that an aluminum compounder would probably be highly resistant to savanthood.
  24. I understood I just explained badly. Let me try again. I think your identity is two things. The first is the unique pattern that says who you are. The second is a force of investiture that expresses that pattern to the universe. If this is the case storing identity does not change who you are it just dims how much the universe cares. When storing identity you are still you just less so. This means tapping identity might actually make your savantism more obvious as it is part of you and your selfness is enhanced.
