  1. Is their a category to report this post in?
  2. As Rhara said his powers cancel Odium's which is why Odium can't see it. Taravangian might realize this at the time but that does not mean the diagram predicted it. The diagram with the exception of Dalinar does not seem to predict any Radiant's existence. Remember he had to manually search for Kaladin and Shallan only came under observation after she began associating with Jasnah. Of course. I never said otherwise. The fact that the diagram may not predict R's powers does not mean that he does not have them. Dalinar's entire life experience was realated to his refusal of Odium. Are you saying his children were not part of his life experience?
  3. Considering the number of theories on this form I am going to say that we are like 99% accurate.
  4. That has not been confirmed.
  5. We don't actually know much about the spiritual realm. Most of what we think we know is poorly understood speculation. if you have specific questions we can try and answer them but honestly Hoid is the only individual who seems to have anything like a working knowledge of the place.
  6. @Rshara peaty much covers it. Although their are alternatives to time dilation. On Nalthis for example you can buy immortality. Their are likely other options as well.
  7. Everything has some investiture. Drabs might have less but they are still sentient humans with souls. It may be incrementally easier but if you can push on something inside somone's body I don't think you would care much if they are drab or not.

Marasi notes that the spikes were likely caused by panic not an actual shortage.
  9. A vessel cannot permanently change a shard. Their interpretation influences the shard to some degree while they hold it but they eventually loose the battle of wills between themselves and the shardic intent.
  10. Did anyone record the Celsius signing WoBs systematically?
  11. This would be a great ask Brandon. Are their any effects on the soldiers that Dalinar pulled the thrill out of?

Good to know. I think there is also some learned skill in their too.

I thought that stealbubble was his resonance.
  15. Interesting theory but I think it takes to many leaps of logic for me to except it.
  16. Kaladin damaged Syl. She was not forcefully yanked out of him. The processes are not necessarily analogous.
  17. Welcome
  18. Yes. Spook was not over their and they never got Lerasium but at the same time they do have some native alomancers.

Elendel is also the transit hub. Doesn't that mean that they have stockpiles?
  20. I am fairly sure that Voidbinding is Odium making use of an existing magic system.
  21. They would not change species obviously but will they now have the lower intelligence and need to obey orders? https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/sotto voce
  22. Well they are in captured. Do you honestly expect a prisoner to be talkative or to do much of anything? Also humans and singers have different spirit webs. Perhaps the changes are a bit less pronounced. ie they can still talk and remember fairly well and they can still learn but they have lost abstraction and critical thinking.
  23. Or perhaps other things. Their sense of "humanity" their culture and their previously held beliefs. The things "normal" singers do is now painful for them. I also doubt their is any other ideal in Voidbinding. The journey is ended. I don't think you can move on to grow and change after that.
  24. This thread will likely contain spoilers for Oathbringer. At the end of Oathbringer Sadeas's men bond the thrill something never before seen if Ash is to be believed. Dalinar ends their ability to wage war by trapping the thrill in the King's Drop an enormous perfect ruby capable of housing and containing an Unmade. The only other time anything like this has happened before was when the Bondsmith Melishi used his abilities to trap the unmade Ba-Ado-Mishram. The result seems to be the transformation of the Parsh people, as the singers were then called, into the Rosharan Parshmen. Mindless and diligent slaves that needed instructions to do much of anything. Could a similar transformation have happened to Sadeas's men? Are Sadeas's men parshmen now(I am not going to argue weather or not they deserve it. Sotto voce they dooo.)?
