  1. All of the referenced people saw themselves as "better" with the parts regrown. Cal has the WoBs as usual.
  2. Good thing parshmen are a thing. Also their is no soil on roshar to build the dam out of. I would recommend making a wooden framework and coating it in crem which will steadily harden into stone. As a side note if you build it in the right shape highstrom crem will actually repair your dam.
  3. Put the waterwheel indoors. You would have to do so anyway if you want it not to be destroyed by a highstorm.
  4. Granted but you have absolutely no idea how to use it. I wish to do excellently on my next assignment.
  5. They are not really at the moving parts stage yet. Even if they were anything that delicate would have to be put inside anyway.
  6. That is basically the theory in a nut shell or possibly a better yet similar theory yes.
  7. The highstorms themselves help with that. They drop a layer of cement on everything.
  8. It depends on the length of time he had the injury. Lets do a thought experiment. If I were to "heal" some moldy bread it could go one of two ways. The bread could be pushed to the spiritual ideal of bread or the spiritual ideal of mold depending on which it felt it was more. Is the moldy piece of bread still bread or has it finally become mold? Which is its ideal self? Similarly if you were to loose part of your brain(like happens to stroke victims) it would depend if the ideal version of you was still the one that part of the brain or without one. I am guessing like with most injuries it would depend on time. The longer you are without a piece of your brain the more likely it is that you consider that version of yourself the perfect you. As to the other part of your question. Miles always heals his injures more or less instantaneously so for him it is not a problem.
  9. The same could be said for your arguments. The fact that Lirin is in the first chapter could be significant or not only Brandon knows the answer.
  10. We really don't have characters comparable to Lirin in any of Brandon's books.
  11. They are also relatively slow and dramatic and thanks to spanreads you can see them coming and have several hours advanced warning.
  12. YES! Confirmation of my theorized Venli Navani team up! Alternatively will it be a verses book? Also cool!
  13. Not really. They just lack empathy. That is an entirely different and much worse problem.
  14. Or at least more then one definition of the word aggressive. However looking at Spensa's chapters she is most often derided as aggressive when she shows the immediate desire or capacity for personal violence or confrontational behavior. Therefore Winzik's actions are not what most of the aliens would call aggressive. Also in defending Elysium we find out about what all alien cultures do to their dissidence. By your definition this would be an aggressive action however they clearly do not consider it so. I don't think that he is really pretending so much as exaggerating or overcompensating. All of those mannerisms are clearly quite normal in Krell society he just seems to overcompensate because he does not feel the emotions behind them. Vapor pointed out that many individuals in the aggression hating Superiority would consider his actions laudable.
  15. They are in fact the same scene.
  16. This will be the back half is what I am thinking. Yes he is also so good at following orders that we know he will hit perfectly.
  17. Make sure the ring is copper. That way they can remember the moment forever.
  18. I kind of want to be a chasmfiend just for the primal urge of running around wrecking armies. Alternatively Reshi greatshells or skyeals are both fun. Santhid.
  19. Alright. Thanks to @Pagerunner stalking stormlight 4 page which has collected and mentioned all released chapters I can say with a degree of confidence that you are confused. Brandon has rewritten chapter 1 several timesthe one( you are referencing that has a Lirin PoV) but it is clearly always chapter 1 both in the readings he gives and in the newsletter. Agreed we have waited to long for our dragons.
  20. You can get rid of this Szeth says "do not call me by my father's name he should not be sullied by his association with me"or something to this effect when the diagram shows him they have his oathstone.
  21. The thing is he is not ready to attack. None of his actions are emotional they are all premeditated. I would argue this makes them worse. Spensa is highly aggressive but this is not necessarily a bad thing. It means that she is dangerous but at the same time in a crisis she is the first one with a game plan. It is kind of. He is not personally involved. The actual summoning of the delver is left to other agents. He is looking on and watching from a distance and coming up with a plan. Ambition is not the same as aggression and yes he is ambitious. I kind of doubt this. Brade for example seems convinced that she could convince him to let the humans act as enforcers. He must have been planing a coup for decades. This is destructive but at the same time not aggressive. So? I don't see my bus as sapient but it is still my only way to get to school on time. You absolutely can. Humans have been doing it for centuries. This would be funny. I propose abolishing this BS system of deciding who is fully sapient and who is not.
  22. This is a fairly common theory BTW. I also think that the nerd brother(blanking on the name) will become a truthwatcher.
  23. Don't worry about it.
  24. Are am speaking about Spensa. She did not go about gathering information about mushrooms in a scientific manner.
