  1. Jenny kissed him back, giddy. She pulled herself as close to Edgar as she could. ”I’m still up by two!” She then broke out of his embrace and threw Sword again, grinning wide enough she thought her face would split in two.
  2. Jenny grinned. He seemed to be just as happy as she was. ”You won’t have to worry about that. I’ve already got a head start, anyways.” Ugh. She seemed to have found one way to make the voice upset.
  3. “Please do.” Jenny kissed Edgar, standing on tip toe. ”Please do that a lot too.”
  4. Edgar was smiling again. He didn’t try to argue. Jenny grinned, wrapping her arms around him too. ”Ridiculously happy.”
  5. Jenny was angry. How could one’s own siblings be so cruel? Edgar hadn’t done anything to deserve that. ”Your siblings are a bunch of liars.” She put her hand under his chin and tilted his face up so that he was looking at her again. ”You made a beautifully decorated blowgun overnight. Carved magical earplugs in a matter of minutes while walking. Built a freaking chariot that shot darts. You create more than just physical things, too. You create happiness, if that makes any sense. You make me feel good, both intentionally and not.”
  6. Edgar had stopped smiling briefly. Had she said something wrong, made him feel badly somehow? ”Did I say something mean accidentally?” Jenny was the sort of person blunt enough to be prone to accidental rudeness. Why bother asking, Jenny? He’s just going to lie to you.
  7. “You’ve told me that several times, Edgar.” Jenny grinned. ”And I really like you. You’re really handsome, really good at creating, and just amazing.” Edgar had put how she felt about him best, albeit directed at a different person. He had a way with words sometimes. ”You’re pretty good at talking, you know. More so than you think.” @Scars of Hathsin
  8. Jenny blushed too. She was doing quite a lot of that recently, not that she minded. Looking around to make sure that Aaron was still asleep and Kasa wasn’t watching, she gave Edgar a quick peck on the lips. Jenny then threw Sword at lightning speed and ran off to retrieve it.
  9. See the inn on the other side? Jump through the roof and keep going! Go! We'll follow when we can!
  10. “Thank you!” Jenny beamed. She was becoming quite proud of her teaching skills. ”It helps that you’re such a good student.” She doubted that she’d have the patience to teach someone like Aaron or, gods forbid, Roy.
  11. “Better! You’re still a bit twisted, but on the right track. Try overcorrecting a little. Sometimes your sense of what’s right is a little skewed.” She called some of this over her shoulder as she recovered Sword. There was now a sizable chunk missing from the wood. Hopefully Aaron and Rob wouldn’t be too mad at her for this.
  12. “It’s ok! This takes practice.” Jenny threw Sword again. She smiled as the thud caused some of the tree’s leaves to shake and turned back to Edgar. ”I like having an excuse to chuck daggers at things, anyways.”
  13. The dagger sailed forwards a fair distance but fell just short of the tree. ”You need to make sure that your grip is steady. Your hand twisted a bit. The goal is for the knife to slide straight out of your hand without causing you to move too.” Jenny retrieved the two daggers, having to pull rather hard to extricate Sword from the trunk. She handed Edgar’s back to him.
  14. Edgar remembered how to grip the knife. He was a good learner. Jenny modeled the throwing stance as a reminder, holding it for a few moments, then threw Sword. The dagger impacted nearly the exact same spot as before with a thunk. ”Now you try.” She stepped to the side and faced him, watching his movements so she could provide feedback.
  15. “Oh, ok.” Jenny’s face fell a bit. It was concerning that Aaron was so tired for no apparent reason. She’d have to check up on him if this kept going on. ”I hope he’s alright.” She fetched a dagger from her pack and held it out to Edgar. It was the same one he had used before- the weapon had seemed to work well for him. @Scars of Hathsin
  16. We'll have to carry this one on our backs....
  17. “Oh, that’s great! Maybe you can help give Edgar some pointers!” Jenny repeated the exact same thing, louder this time. Aaron hadn’t been injured, so he could probably do without rest until nighttime. She didn’t want him to be caught unawares by a monster while sleeping. ”He is weirdly tired. I wonder why.” Jenny said this with complete sincerity.
  18. My friend taped a note to the inside of a lampshade when we were pranking someone so a message showed up when he turned on the lamp. That was pretty fun. TPBM prefers thin crust pizza to thick crust pizza.
  19. Legends don't burn down villages. We need to move. Now!
  20. Jenny was about to correct him, her face briefly concerned, but realized that he was probably also making a joke and laughed. She blushed a little at the compliment, too. Humor seemed to be helping. She’d make sure to remember that. ”Oh, that’s great! Maybe you can help give Edgar some pointers!” They needed to stay vigilant, especially now that half of the group had left, so letting people sleep wasn’t a great idea.
  21. “I’m bad at body language, so together we have the social skills of one regular person.” Jenny attempted to make a deadpan joke, but a slight smile still stole its way onto her face. Humor always cheered her up, so hopefully it would do the same for Edgar. She noticed Aaron watching them and immediately waved. ”Hi Aaron! Wanna learn how to throw knives?” The kid had been less insufferable than he was at the beginning of the quest. Perhaps he was realizing that he needed to be more humble.
  22. Chuck Norris once ate an entire bottle of sleeping pills. They made him blink.
  23. “It’s ok, the voice is just trying to be mean. I don’t think you’re a liar, smiling doesn’t count as lying.” Jenny quickly dashed over to the tree and back, retrieving Sword. She’d now given up on trying to physically affect the voice. ”And it’s ok to tell me when you’re not ok. I think hiding it can just make you more upset.”
  24. Yesssssss, someone else has watched it! Juliette rescues Lassy and convinces her brother, John Cena, to travel to Atlantis and use his powers of invisibility and being really good at holding his breath to sneakily retrieve it.
