Sierra swallowed. What in the world has she just gotten herself into? "You're crazy..." she whispered. She looked down at her coffee, at her reflection in the liquid's surface. Maybe they were crazy. But... they'd been nice. Right? Right? She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Sure," she said, shrugging her shoulders. "Whatever. I don't know anything about you people, but it's not as if I'm going anywhere anyway. I'm just a lost, worthless tinker, and now that I've done the only thing that made me get up in the morning, I've lost any semblance of ambition. I don't care. It doesn't matter anymore." What she didn't mention was how hungry she felt, how frail. Giving in to Grey's prodding was less about not caring and more about being too worn out to fight back.
