Hi, everyone! I'm debating whether to do Star or Ember today for the realistic portraits series. Preferences?

So, I started Ember on Wednesday... and guys, there is no way I will finish her. Here's why:
- If I actually continued this, there is way too much minute detail on her face - texturing, the cracks in her skin - for me to be able to achieve the same amount of realism I did with Xino.
- Her hair is made of metal and will require doing a heck-ton of reflections. I'm getting better at those... but it's too much
- I'm not actually sure how to make the light coming from the cracks in her skin look realistic.
- I worked hard to make her eyes symmetrical and beautiful... but they were too big. I'm discouraged and I don't want to try and re-draw this.
- This is the biggest reason of all - she requires so much shading. Seriously, you have no idea. By the time I finished, my hands would be covered in graphite and I would have to redo a bunch of it because my hands smudged it while I was drawing. I really don't want to deal with that.
So, I'll work on Star this weekend for you guys.
