Touché. I was pretty sure your character was the most powerful (after Voidus), but I couldn't find anything about him.

I like killing people, not getting killed by people. If of neither of our characters actually killed if such thing were to happen in the assassination process, than I think that that would be a fun friendly competition. I don't like killing people because I'm bloodthirsty, I like it because the intellectual process in preventing the target from suspecting you, and getting them to kill themselves, is really fun,

I don't know about you guys, but my only morals are don't kill any GB. If your outside the GB, I don't care about you, and would happily kill you, not because I hate you, but because I think killing people is fun. Off the record.

Why didn't Mare get used for a spike?
BooksBeforeDeath replied to Lord Mist's question in Cosmere Q&A
Remember that Mare was a tineye, and Inquisitors don't really need to have their sight enhanced because of their steelvision, and they can see perfectly, so they don't really need other senses enhanced. -
I'm with the Ghostbloods.

Toa's plan, to reveal any defense system, had worked perfectly. He watched as the figure turned its back, and then tapped steel and appeared in front of the lifeless, catching their attention. "Open the gates," he said. The lifeless just eyed him. Toa sighed, and started walking back towards Alley City.

Toa debated a little bit, but then tapped his steel metalmind, and zipped away to his hidey-hole to continue to observe the town.

An anonymous man (who's entire identity is in my sig) strolled up to the gates at night, using his dark cloak to avoid being spotted by Lifeless.

I updated my RP character, and added a physical features section, which you can see in my sig. Also, my name isn't on the list of RP characters.

Bunch of random questions/theories about the Cosmere
BooksBeforeDeath replied to MrPotato's question in Cosmere Q&A
1. As a savant, maybe. I don't know if they would be powerful enough just burning it, but a savant flaring might be able to. Someone ask Brandon. 2. I think the shades on Threnody would look the same on the CR as they do in the physical realm. Remember the Spren layovers from CR to PR, and how anger spren were these centipede insect guys, but in the PR only the pool of drool that they dripped appeared. This might have something to do with how powerful they are. If it does, then I think Shades would be powerful enough to appear completely from the CR to the PR. This is all just a theory, though. We don't know enough about Shades to make good Theorys, either. 3. I like this theory, and think it's completely possible. However, I think the part about Preservation being only 1/6th of Adonsalium wouldn't really make a difference, because the metal would tap into all 16 (now 15) Shards. It's also important to remember, and correct me if I'm wrong, that Preservation created Allomancy. Even though Ruin has a god Metal, that might just come from him making the other metallic art. -
I'm part of your guild. Why would you kill me? But ya, it's not that I'm a violent person, I just like the intellect behind assassination.

I choose that one. Call me bloodthirsty, but I enjoy killing people on the RP threads. I like all the different ways to do it, and how you have to deceive the target into killing themselves so you aren't acting Godmoddy

Ok. I still think casting him out was a little risky, though.

You were not "voted out." You asked if we wanted you to leave, and one person jokingly said yes.

Megan would be best friends with Vin. Allrianne would end up in a ditch. Heres my theory

The Knights Awkward
BooksBeforeDeath replied to Mistrunner's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
Toa's eyes widened, as the characters moved toward him. Then he pulled out 2 obsidian knifes, and settled into Windstance, a form learned from long hours of studying books at home. Amaniac determined look crossed his face. "Alright then. For the Ghostbloods!" He yelled, ready to kill the enemies for his guild.- 1041 replies

Book Recommendation for Sanderson Fan
BooksBeforeDeath replied to Dubisx's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I read that series not that long ago! It's a bit like space Hunger Games, and follows the same trend: Book 1) Great book, love it Book 2) Still good, but degrading. Book 3) Good relatively, but meh in comparison to book one. -
Thoughts on military travelogue?
BooksBeforeDeath replied to mrwizard70's topic in Writing Excuses and Intentionally Blank
Imagine this: The soldier wants to do a certain thing, but his superiors are oppressing him. That allows him to be a lower level character, but still have things he can do other than following orders, as no good character obeys commands going against what they want in books like that. -
I would focus on one chick, and have him (and through him, the reader) learn things through trial and error. Additionally, I think that he/she/it should refer to his fellow hatchlings with physical attributes. E.i: one of them has red on them. What was Red doing? Well, he'd better not die! I think in books like this it's important to balance out the semi advanced vocabulary with immature thoughts and phrases, such as things that would be considered socially insensitive, to show the reader that they're young and unlearned. That way, they don't think about the character as 'advanced'.
