  1. "You bound her throat!?" Toa demanded. "You condensed her windpipe! How could you?" "You— you killed her," Toa said quietly, falling to his knees. "You killed her."
  2. Toa pit his hand in his cloak pocket, and opened the pill, activating both poisons.
  3. Of course! Who could mess up The Underwater Broccoli Acronym?
  4. "Alright," said Toa. "My reactions are pretty good, but I still might overshoot it by a couple minutes. Mostly, I use Cadium with a primer cube, though, so I don't have a ton of practice." Toa burned Cadium, and the world sped up.
  5. "I got Cadium from my father, an Allomancer, and Steel from my mother, a Feruchemist."
  6. "Alright," said Toa. "Try not to think about killing people. I can do that."
  7. I always thought it stood for 'Dark Alley'. Not to be confused with the Diagon Alley.
  8. Tow raised his eyebrow. "I assume it was one of those 'if I go insane, try and save me' deals?"
  9. Just don't join the DA, which obviously stands for Dumbledores Army.
  10. Voidweaver. Darkweaver Shadowweaver Absence-of-light-weaver All of the above.
  11. "It seemed the most me," Toa confessed, reluctantly. "I lived on Scadrial, and was kicked out of my family for not being an Fullborn. My family had high expectations of their children. I decided to take revenge, and a couple well placed lies and secrets brought my family's house down. I like secrets. Secrets are almost as powerful as Fullborns. Taking down my family was a way to prove to myself and my family that I didn't have to be a Fullborn to be powerful. I eventually found my way here, after discovering a perpendicularlity. But enough about me. How did you get here?"
  12. "Yep," said Toa, helping lift the girl, and moving her over to the building.
  13. Toa grabbed the pills, and forced them down the girls mouth. "Alright," he said. "The poison is ready."
  14. "Alright. The poisons act fast, but I can administer the pill pods to the target now, and be able to release different poisons depending on the situation. I only brought the 2, though." Toa turned to face Max. "Hey, I'm Toa. You already knew that, but I'm saying it again because that's what politeness demands."
  15. Watch Waldo, the Kandra worldhopper, end up being a lightweaver. Imagine how hard it would be to figure that out.
  16. Toa stood there, being ignored.
  17. Toa watched as Ani was lead away. Hopefully he would grow along the right path this time. He than turned to Althea, and asked "well? What do you think of my plan? More poison, or will this suffice?"
  18. Toa stared as Hellbent ripped spike after spike from his body. Toa had heard things about Hellbent, heard he was a monster, heard that he was a menace, a threat to the Alleyverse itself, but watching him kill himself, pulling out his spikes, Toa knew that none of that was him. He watched as Hellbent died, not as the monster, not as the killer, but as himself.
  19. "Woa. Bit intense. Try not to die right after your birthday," Toa murmured to himself.
  20. "So..." said Toa. "That's Hellbent, I assume?"
  21. "I brought a couple poisons," said Toa, "but I don't know which one to use. What do you guys think?" "The first poisin I brought," "Next off," "Lastly, I brought this mechanism called the pill-pod, which is a fabrial shaped like a hollow pill, pared with one I have right here. When I open this one, the other two will open as well, releasing whatever the contents of the pill may be." Toa pocketed all the poisons and pill-pods. "The poisons I propose would be a combination of both. We use the red one first, and then, hopefully, when the target tries to get whatever the girl is 'choking' on, we use the clear one, making it seem as if he killed her with strength." "Any flaws in my plan?"
  22. A man named Toa showed up. "You called for me, Althea?"
