  1. i probably would. I find them quite enjoyable, and would probably even find a relatively bad movie adaptation at least somewhat entertaining.
  2. Speaking of audio books, i actually finished listening to the audio books of the old kingdom trilogy not too long ago. I went and got the audio books because they're read by Tim Curry, and let me tell you, he does an AWESOME Mogget.
  3. pending on how open someone is on the internet, not terribly hard. Heck, you could likely even figure out who i am by just googling my username on here, since i use it for every login, including things correlating to my real name. Though, using my email to try and figure out who i am may end up confusing you. My email is my first and last name, however, someone who apparently has the same first and last name as me seems to think its his email, and has done so for several years. I've even gotten emails from his mom. I've tried to convince these people that i'm not him, but to date, this doesnt seem to have worked.
  4. Yeah, there was talk of it, but not enough interest shown
  5. Going off of the image in your siggy, you appear to be an old kingdom fan like myself
  6. That is all.
  7. This is a neat little game
  8. I blame this squarely on your shoulders Otherwise i probably would have just been like "huh. thats a weird april fools day change" and moved on.
  9. if only... But that made me think of this (warning: slightly NSFW because of language)
  10. LOL! U NED TO C DIS! http://bit.ly/ehzQ4t OMG!!! Iz dat u?!?! DID U C DEES PIX OF U?!
  11. i graduated college almost 6 years ago [/old] But i majored in computer sciences (for computer programming). I graduated with honors, and BARELY missed being valedictorian of my class
  12. i find that song dreadfully annoying and inane. I want my 3 minutes back, good sir. D:
  13. "Right," I say to the weaselly little man. "I want to know everything you know about this spheremorph tournament, anything you can tell me about a hill with a cross marker on it in the western plains, and," lowering my voice a bit, and leaning in i continue, "everything you know about a man named Destron." Having said this, i pull out my money pouch and give it a good shake to let out an audible clink of coin.
  14. Oh? i didnt know you were a programmer, too, joe. What languages do you consider as your core languages?
  15. Welcome to the site, my name is Eerongal, and i'll be your moderator today. (actually it appears that statement is pretty accurate, since i am a moderator, and you are part of the group that manages site coding) Anywho, i have a relatively good grasp on javascript if you ever have any questions (though i'm no expert. I'm actually a software engineer by trade, but my exposure to JS is limited, so i have a grasp on the language, but can't tell you any of the nuances.) Anyways, welcome to the site, and look forward to seeing you around.
  16. so, and I don't think this needs to be voiced, but i hate the recording industry
  17. I started late 90's. Read the first few (like 3 or 4 or something), until i was out of books to read, then forgot about it until mid 2000's and was like "oh crap! they're up to book 11!" and started reading furiously to catch up, and then while in the middle of that, RJ died and i was all "uhhhh....." not sure of what i should do. But i pressed on anyways, then they got brandon to get into writing it! so in actuallity, i was only ever really WAITING since book 11, but technically i've been waiting 15-ish years, though most of that time was me forgetting the series existed.
  18. That depends. Is it one of those group projects that ends up as "That guy will do all the work, and the rest of us will jack around for the rest of the time"? If so, then it doesn't really matter too terribly much how often the group meets.
  19. Finishing up day 1 of what I am now going to dub the "google cram"

  20. it wouldnt be true if i had my previous 30-some odd days before the forum shift
  21. That sounds about right.
  22. Do we REALLY need a service like this? Really?
  23. Just as a note, i'm really looking forward to how Eerongal and Ambro end up getting along in the same party. They're so completely polar opposites, it's gonna be awesome.
  24. All right, Monday, LET'S DO THIS!

  25. awww, but where's the fun in that?
