384b. The more useful the item is, the more likely it will also disappear. The most useless seeming items will survive, and anything necessary to the plot will be found later.

@Smye gotta love my sheep. This is Pepper, my border collie aussie mix. Leo, Cleo, and Mrs. Cuddles. Leo and Cleo are my aunt's and the other one is my neighbor's. I only have one cat, but Cleo is pregnant so I should get one of her kittens. There's more, but this is enough for now at least.

All schools in Nebraska are closed until May 1st. I have missed out on/will miss out on Conference Honor Band, which I spent hours practicing for, State FFA, which I actually qualified for in Livestock and Meats Judging, various tennis matches, our normal band concert and everything else. I’m slowly going crazy, and I now have a really hard time sleeping for whatever reason. On the other hand, I don’t have it as bad as some others. I can still go to work as I act as a hired hand for my neighbor, and ranching won’t stop for this. I started a Stormlight reread, so that gives me something to do, but I'm already almost through WoR. I can still work with my 4h sheep, but I’m hoping that county fair isn’t cancelled. I live in the country, which is nice as I still have lots of fresh air and all that. Sorry to sound like a petty sophomore, but I’m frustrated and needed to rant about the fact that I’m missing out on stuff I’ve been looking forward to for months. Work is the only thing that is currently keeping me sane.

Actually, WoK is my favorite, but yes, I can say that, in my opinion, she’s been through situations that are just as bad. Both have had some excessive mental trauma from all of their physiological torments in their pasts. Again, while I do prefer Kaladin, Shallan has also had a hard time, which I believe makes her a well written character.

And then banananana happened.

While I do prefer Kaladin, Shallan isn’t the worst character in the books. I have multiple types of “hate” for Sanderson's characters. There's the ones I simply can’t stand, the ones who acted in a certain way that makes me hate them (Amaram, Sadeas, Moash, etc.) but I wouldn’t actually change what they did because it's what makes a good book, and the characters I just don’t get (not many, but a couple). I do wish that I liked Shallan better because she would be a perfect cosplay opportunity for me (other than the fact that I am a darkeyes), but she still is a good character, if not specifically for you, she is still well-written. I'm only going to do one or two counterpoints, but I do have a couple. Shallan has had just as hard, if not more difficult, of a backstory as Kaladin. The beauty in Shallan is how she's been through all of this, and can not be completely crushed by it. By all logic, she should be just as depressed as Kaladin, but she can stay strong. I’m not saying that Kaladin is weak, but he does have a harder time dealing with all the bad stuff that happens in his life when compared to Shallan.

I wish I was persuasive enough to do this! My brother and I are the only two who have read Mistborn out of the school library in the past 3 years. I have converted the librarian though.

I'm doing several, but it's a good thing I started a Stormlight reread! I’m also not completely quarantined, so I still go to work, which is nice so that I have something to do. If that changed, I might turn into even more of a Hoid! Struggle/Fight against captivity! (Being cooped up in reality, but it can sure feel like captivity at times) Like Syl. (Would also fit Kaladin, but there already is one)

When you are disappointed that your Aonic alphabet got cut off suddenly with school being cancelled! I only got to Aon Ela! When you have to make a decision about either rereading Stormlight over break so you have something to do, yet reread it AGAIN in November, or just wait until November... AND CHOOSE THE FIRST OPTION! When you decide to name all your 4h lambs after Warbreaker characters this year!
