    Hello @Seren-Stormblessed, welcome to the forums. As for your question. Roshar is based on tidepool ecosystem. But mankind has nothing to do with its creation or destruction. though it was not connected to stormlight in no way what so ever. The reason everything on Roshar looks like underwater life form, is because of the highstorms so the funa and Flora had to adapt itself to weather the highstorms.
