I just finished listening to TWoK, and stormlight helps a lot in strength and stamina and speed. Like szeth destroy so much with bare hands with stormlight, kaladin shutter so many spears in the battle of the tower, and so on.

I started to tell stories to myself when I was very young, but I seldom committed it to letters, I started to learn English in 4th grade and I am competent speaker for 8 years and reader for 4. I have read R. A. Salvatore, Robin Hobb, Tolkien, David Eddings, Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, Dan Wells, Mary Robinette, Terry Goodkind, Drgonlance, and various others. Currently I read Steven Erickson "the Malazan book of the fallen" (on which I heartily recommend). I want to write fantasy (dah). Right now I base it on some Jewish lore, you will see enough of that in the future. One of the things I have written was an assassin killing his loved one then go on to murder everyone. It was so disturbing I wrote a page and that was it. (I don’t have it anymore). I dabble in way to many things. Namely: history, linguistics, martial arts, geography, and so on. I am an orthodox Jew, I have been studying Judaism for 8 years. Well I really don’t know if need or want more, but feel free to ask.

Might i remind you that humanity first wars were against carapace covered parshendi. So it is rather plausible that they used that kind of blades.

On a shardblade you are absolutely right, shape and Design don't matter. but isn't the shape somehow correlate to the spren and radiant personalities and vision of what it should look like. The second section was about why don't alethi lighteyes deploy such design.

So there is this description of Oathbringer, So most of the time we immediately think that the blade curves twords the user, but what say you about a blade that curves away from the user? (Like dacian falx). As an aside I'll mention, that such blade design could be very useful in penetrating Parshendi carapace, way more then straight blades.
