Furamirionind replied to Steeldancer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Ok. I'm back. And exausted. Way way more than I was yesturday. Today everything that could have gone wrong, basically did... though somehow the audience didnt seem to realize most of the time... Anyway. I will probably just be checking up, and then take a nap or something. Sorry. I already skimmed what happened D1, but I will also actually read it Ninja'd: I didnt retract from ark. -
Mid-Range Game 35: Final Flight
Furamirionind replied to Steeldancer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
let's see how this colour blue turns out. On mobile. I'm mostly just using blue as I am trying to RP more this game, being skyward and all. So, I should probably cast a vote, but idk who to vote on. So I'll pick a random inactive. I will probably be able to read the thread, but my theater is outdoors so my data connection is mostly non-existant, will come for a couple seconds and go away. The show ends right before rollover, but between cleaning up and walking back to wifi, idk if I will be truly on again until N1. Idk why I am writing so much about this. I could literally just say, "wont be on again this cycle". Idk.[/colour] Ark -
Mid-Range Game 35: Final Flight

Julis saw Steel walking down the hall behind him. "Be right back" he said to , and raced after Steel. He would be a good person to talk to. Not only because he was a legend, known for the fastest flying in the history of the DDF, but also because he might actually have some answers to the confusing speech Ironsides had made. Steel was... he was really fast on the ground too. With steel just strolling toward the bunker, Julis had to sprint to catch up. "Sir Steel! I wanted to say, I am really a big fan of yours. Your story was inspiring to me, and part of the reason I joined the DDF! Though, I was wondering if you could answer a question... these Rebels I keep hearing about, there are rumors that they have an ability to deal massive amounts of damage to our ships. I was wondering if you know if our shields are strong enough to keep that out? I mean, the handbook says that they are strong enough to repel 1 attack, no matter the firepower in said attack." @Steeldancer -
From my first post then, can you explain why "w"? Edit: also what are your results from last night? That should be my last question I think. : )

Mid-Range Game 35: Final Flight
Furamirionind replied to Steeldancer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
"That would be silly. I hope we learn soon, as I dont know if I should fly without a squad leader agaaaiiii..." Julis cleared his throat nervously, "nevermind about that. You... didn't happen to hear about what happened to Lyra squad by any chance did you?" -
Mid-Range Game 35: Final Flight

Julis walked into the room. After a disastrous previous mission, almost his entire previous squad had been shot down. Out of the two survivors, he was the only one to wish to continue his training. However, no other cadet flight would take him in. I mean, it wasnt like accidentally light lancing a krell ship behind his flightmate had been his fault after all, and they kept holding it against him! Anyway, Julis was a bit intimidated. He had apperantly talked up the right people, and somehow was added to a flight of mostly actual pilots! Not just Cadets. This was his chance to shine! Julis stopped grinning at himself, and looked around the room. He saw two people having a conversation about... the Krell being small furry animals? He decided to ignore this fact, as he was obviously missing context, as he approached them. "I'm Julis, Callsign: Junior. Nice to meet you." He looked around again, "who's squad leader?" After all, he had a reputation to maintain! -
He didnt tell me who else he told. @Lumgol what did CadCom tell you in his roleclaim?

I am seriously concerned that CadCom died. I will post why later as I dont have time right now. But there is a more pressing issue. @_Stick_ I need your roleclaim. Someone is lying somewhere. Feel free to give it to me in code.

Normally I would go into PMs and say this stuff, but I dont have a lot of time as I am running sound for my theater today. (And the next 2 days, but setup is hard) I am also curious if Joe can make use of this at all. First of all, I encourage those Maill told he would vote on Steel to PM me or publically claim. I ask this, because I went into my reread of Maill thinking he wasnt an elim, but could be a Mistborn. I didnt think he was an elim because in general, he has had several posts that seem really good to me. I think I pointed out a couple in thread. The more I reread Maill/Steel interactions... there just arent any... Sure there are some, and Maill cast some shade on Steel D3, but it wasnt condemning really, and was preceded by a vote for Rath which also takes some power away from what he said about Steel. He then was the 4th vote on Steel. I see this as a potential distancing attempt that picked up too much momentum, forcing him to bus. I will re-evaluate if I get claims that Maill was planning on voting for Steel as early as N2. That's pretty much all the time I have for now. I will probably be able to follow the thread loosely, and will try to respond to PMs. If I die tonight, I trust Lum and Elandera. Edit: no one has mentioned it, but it is worth noting that Steel is the Assassin as well. I dont think more need be said.

Lum, I would encourage one of the people I suggested. Even though I said I'd clear "I", upon further thought, "I" would be fine, as well as "d" if you are doing that.

Here is the vote count: Straw (1) - Rath Rath (1) - HH Steel (5) - Ela, Coop, Stick, Lum, Straw, Maill, Steel, Fura Coop (0) - CadCom Maill(0) - CadCom Fura (1) - Lum Stick(1) - Steel I think that is updated, but a reminder I am really bad at picking the reds out from the blacks. Edit: Forgot to add my thing on Coop: Why aren't you going to vote? the purpose of votes is to provide data for analysis.

You think that 30% is reasonable lynching odds on D3? Can you guarantee you will be again before rollover to change your vote? I see a "likely" in there...

I was lumping the village lynch and the MB night kill into 1 thing. I just called them "anti-elim".

Umm, yeah you're right... I don't know how I made that jump... So, to revise: D3: 9-2-4 (-Elim lynch, -MB kill, -Elim kill)D4: 7-2-3 (-Mislynch, -MB kill, -Elim kill)D5: 4-2-3 (-Mislynch, -MB kill, -Elim kill) D6: 1-2-3 So actually, I've got to agree with Maill then. Lynching an elim is the best thing we could do today. It gives, worst case scenario 6 anti-elim kills. (4 additional ones.) Where the other scenarios only give 2 anti-elim kills each. Also, recovering from a 4-2-3 seems very doable. Hard, but doable. Edit: Ok, thinking about it, anti-elim kills aren't necisarily good. But it gives us 2 extra mislynches where the others only give 1. That is the actual selling point. : )

Hmm. Worst case scenario, there are 4 elims, 2 mistborn, which leaves us with 9 villagers right now. If we lynch Zane D3, worst case scenario: D3: 9-2-4 (-Zane lynch, -MB kill, -Elim kill) D4: 7-2-4 (-Zane lynch, -Elim kill) D5: 6-1-4 (-Mislynch, -elim kill) D6: 4-1-4 ----- This is now LyLo. And even then,.we basically only win if the elims try to kill Vin. So we have 1 mislynch. If we lynch an elim: D3: 9-2-4 (-Elim lynch, -MB kill, Elim kill) D4: 7-2-3 (-Mislynch, -MB kill, Elim kill) D5: 2-2-3 (-At this point, the village has already lost. The game then becomes do the elims manage to lynch a MB. if no, then I think the MB likely win. Again, 1 mislynch) just for the sake of it: D3: 9-2-4 (-Mislynch, -MB kill, -Elim kill)D4: 6-2-4 (-Mislynch, -MB kill, -Elim kill)D5: 3-2-4 Neither Lynching Zane, nor lynching an elim looks great for our prospects right now, as regardless we only get 1 mislynch. In fact, we only get 1 mislynch after today, period. Regardless what happens today. HOWEVER, I like our chances of winning in a 4-1-4 much more than a 2-2-3. Edit: Oh, I just realized we get an extra day if we lynch Zane as well. However, that is contingent on lynching him today, which seems unlikely right now. Edit: Edit: Wait, does Joe count for anything? Can he do anything? This was all assuming he can't...

My brain is fried from working on this game yesterday, and being at work today means my time today will likely be minimal. @Lumgol You need to change your vote from Steel if he is the largest lynch EoD. I'd suggest CadCom. @Steeldancer you are smoking Lum right? Steel, idk. All the analysis on him starts by assuming either Coop, or Steel is evil, which I really don't like. Many of Steel's posts are strange, and I don't believe he ever responded to my questioning of his post. Generally, I think Steel sounds pretty defensive of himself, but I also think he (after a couple attempts) explained why he smoked Coop/HH well, which was the reason most people are voting on him. The thing that really gets me, is he is saying Lum is Vin. Why would he say that?!?!?! We even had quite the... Discussion about it last night, and it is such a tin-foil claim to keep making. I can't see why evil!Steel would push that as it is just so outlandish (I will admit it is possible, but not helpful in analysis yet). It would just be easier to ignore Vin. My vote will likely be decided by whatever CadCom posts. Even that isn't really a defense. It's all IKYK. Ninja'd by Maill Edit: Oh, wow. Double Ninja by CadCom. Awesome! @Cadmium Compounder you Stick quote is, but the rest is fine I think Nevermind, yeah it is messed up. Was scanning from the bottom up. So many ninjas lol. @Cadmium Compounder (idk if this will work with me tagging you twice in one post. Just trying to avoid double posting). I agree with most of what you said, except for: (I had to type that manually as for some reason, computers I use never seem to register your posts as text, and always think they are pictures...) I think he would. Like what Maill says, regardless of alignment, Steel's motivation for joining this game was either to kill everyone as the SK, or kill the SKs...

@Cadmium Compounder I seriously doubt anyone will publically claim they scanned you. I also know you didnt take the action I asked you to do last cycle. I guessed your role In our PM, was i correct or not? Edit: nevermind. I was wrong.

My issue with Coop being Zane, is the main arguement for him being Zane is... Honestly idk. You are all assuming he is Zane, and then justifying your assumptions with little things he does. Coop's first post of the game was Day 2. If you still think he is Zane, who submitted the second kill N1?

This is a fine first post, but Straw hasnt been in-thread much. Though I think I have seen him on between most rollovers. Anyway, your reasoning D2 seemed mostly gut based to me. Is that still the same, or do you have analysis that can support your suspicion? Gut reads can be good, but by D3, I think we should be mostly past that. Um, I dont really understand what you are saying here. I bolded the parts I would specifically like explained. Especially as Lum isnt Vin. I dont get this either. So ... Ok, I just spent 20-30 minutes rewriting your post in my own words, and then pointing out my issues with it. But I think I actually understand it now, so I dont need that anymore. I think you might think Smoking Coop would stop Lum's Tineye read. If Smoking stopped Tineyes as well, suddenly this analysis makes a ton of sense. If you do realize that, then I guess I will post my thing rephrasing your words, and i will need you to explain your post again. Has Straw never been an elim, or... what? I dont know. This idea seems pretty convoluted to me. My main issue with it, is you assume there is another Tineye 2 in this game. There was only one in LG53, and similarly I think there will be only 1 this game. There could be 2, but that would make whoever gets it really powerful. If it is village or elims, as it would allow finding the Mistborn easily. If there is a second Tineye, I think they should claim tonight as then we should have 7 people cleared from being Mistborn. Your next assumption is whoever killed Bard also voted on him. My problem with this, is Bard was the counter lynch to Araris. This Tineye wouldnt vote on Bard if they thought he might die. There were 5 single votes on someone D1. If you are looking for a tineye, that's the most likely place. ________________________ I liked Maill's and CadCom's posts so far. Contingent on more info forthcoming from them. Granted, both the posts I list as decent today are Hello World posts. Today's kill targets seem quite helpful for analysis. Both seem a bit out of place to me. I was going to do a more original post on top of this, but I have spent 2 hours on this, and have a lot to do today.

Ok, so I believe my test over this past turn to be successful. I didnt get the result I wanted, but I got info. I am tired and lazy so I am just going to use the same code/system Maill used. (The first message in our PM, starting from the second line.) Because I am really tired and lazy, this message will also be to the same recipient of Maill's message. : P (unless I am just an idiot... which isnt out of the question xD) This test is not 100% foolproof. However, I think it was good enough to clear "i" and "k". My next suspects are "t", "v", and "d" (the "d" that is alive, obviously.)
