  1. Wow ok. 4 deaths. Too bad, this would have cleared Sart had we left him alive. Joe never contributed much, but others interacting with him might be a good place to look.
  2. Sure, and that. : P Personally though, I find it easier to use. Though perhaps that is just because it is the format I learned to play with.
  3. My concern with keeping the same thread throughout the game is: 1. It doesnt look as good. - It is aesthetically pleasing to have the write up be the first post on a page 2. It allows for quickly and easily finding stuff that happened in the ongoing turn. On MU they keep the same thread throughout the game, however, they also have a button at the bottom of the page that allows you to jump to the start or end of any day/night. While it doesnt look as good, it does allow easily finding info. I think if we were to merge everything to one thread, that would work, but we should try adding a quicklinks section to every rollover then, as otherwise going through the thread will be pretty frustrating I think.
  4. Have I started talking in a foreign language? I think I might, as no one understands half the things that come out of my... mouth? Fingers? Anyway, Majority rules are once "X" amount of people have voted for someone, the turn ends early and that person was lynched.
  5. If you all dont mind, I'd like to try this again: We will gain info on who the elims and the SK is by seeing what ships survive to tommorrow. @Snipexe @xinoehp512 - Attack 3E@Elandera @Ark1002 - attack 1C@Mailliw73 @A Joe in the Bush - attack 3B @StrikerEZ @Darkness Ascendant - attack 2A@Lumgol @Young Bard - attack 3A@Walin @xxGaea - attack 1E ------------------------------------------------ "And , you're with me on 3C" Junior finishes dramatically. And then steps down from the chair he was using to make himself seem more in control. "I hope people actually listened this time" he thinks to himself @MrakeDarshall Edit: starting N4, I will organize this better to whatever ships people are using, but for the moment, I dont have time. (Side note: Dear Elims, Please keep me alive. Look how helpful I am being. You dont want the base destroyed either. I'm helping both of us... if you ignore my second sentance in this post... Sincerely, Fura)
  6. Why am I still awake? 1:30am... I never got around to analyzing you. But I have been flip flopping on what I think your allignment is all game. I dont like how you are actively trying to extract village cred by not lynching a villager. This is a common misconception people have. Elims are no more likely to lynch villagers than other villagers. If anything, they are less likely. The rules on the SK are a bit wierd. Something I am sure is intentional so that the SK isnt instantly outed when they enter the game. Something interesting, is we learned the SK was told in their role PM how to activate M-bot. This means the SK knows from the beginning of the game they are the SK. Assuming I understand the rules correctly, the SK basically has 2 wincons. They start with the village one, but if they are killed they get the SK one. To maximize the chance of the SK winning, I think they would start with playing as a villager. Minor spoiler maybe? Also, idk what doomslug does this game, just like idk what doomslug does in the books. I dont think doomslug will be related in any way to fixing up m-bot ------- For the time being, I am going to attack 1E. Will look again when I wake up in 6ish ours from now.
  7. I'm running sound for my theater again this weekend, and will therefore be minimally active Saturday/Sunday again... Luckily, no show on Monday this time, so I will be around then!
  8. Ok, while I still think the right thing to do was to kill Stick yesterday in the lynch, this means today we lynch Stick, tomorrow we lynch Maill, and then we are left 5-0-1. Maill was talking to me in PMs yesterday about there potentially being 5 starting elims, but the existence of a Thug 2 elim basically guarantees there only being 4. Just a heads up, Maill is going to try to talk his and Stick's way out of this lynch, again, and this time we can't let them. Now analysis on the Mistborn is 100% done. Time to work out who the final elim is. (Also just a heads up, I am running sound for my theater this weekend as well, so I will be minimally active over the weekend. After that I will have time) Did he not tell you as well? Stick
  9. Well there goes another Pilot. Tonight (IRL night) will be the last good chance I have to get on before rollover, so if you want to PM me, do so now. I will try to get everything I need organized in game done now as well. For some reason, I thought the elim kill happened during the day? I am so confused by myself literally an hour ago. Was that even me? I think Maill summed it up best. We need a system to kill the Krell, or at the very least, we need it better organised. I don't have time right now as I am about to go see family who just got in town, but once I get back, that is our #1 priority. Also, Sart's death I think is mildly suspicious. Keep your eye out for M-bot. (And yes, I still think Drake is the SK, I just think Sart's death is also suspicious.)
  10. Thanks Steel for posting! This is what I have... I was afraid I was going to die, but if I do die, Maill and Elandera are not elims, as I don't think an elim would want me dead after how non-non-nonsensical I have been EoD. (Striker just got on, though I don't think he'd have time to read my posts and change the kill) StrikerEZ, Seth "Striker" Johnson: Slight Village My village read of Striker is mostly gut based. However, where most gut reads are based on tone and language and stuff, this gut read is based on interactions with other players. I don't agree with all his instincts, but the intent feels pure. Young Bard, Rivelda "Topsy-Turvy" Kline: Village I still don't believe the "hard clear" they claim to have, but I don't see elim!Bard trying to "fake" hard clear himself. That would be funny though, so I kind of hope that is what happened. : ) Anyway, their post last night seems very village to me. Thinking he is hard cleared and he is going to be killed, he quickly writes down all his thoughts on the game. Very village thing to do. Also seems to be one of the few players actually trying to solve the game right now. Sart, Sarah "Seraph" Potts: Village lean I didn't like Sarts posts until he started solving. He explained the quote that originally got suspicion as out of context RP, which makes sense, and made a good case on Bard, which I am not going to double check as I am rushed, but it sounds like good reasoning. Last game I played with Sart was MR32 where he came in as a pinch hitter. He played very different (and was evil), so I am willing to vouch for Sart for the time being. Darkness Ascendent, Noel "Skinny Ship" Miller: Walin, Ildem "Isekai Inbred": Neutral That's really all there is to say, though @Walin did say he was going to do an analysis post today and has yet to show up XXGaea, Iradesca "Paradise Song" Aleh: Neutral I am kind of getting tired of all the neutrals. I think this is uncommon even for me... I hope we can maybe here 1 post from @xxGaea per cycle if your schedule only allows that? A Joe in the Bush, Knowstoo "Number 4" Much: Mild Elim Several posts, 1 post meaningful content, generally sounds like he is unsure. Very suspicious how he said something I said makes sense this game. What does "Keeping your hands clean from the court marshall" even mean? Drake "" Marshall: Serial Killer good call sign. fitting
  11. Wait, actually @Sart I'd be willing to vote on Joe. Up to you. Furamirionind A joe in the Bush
  12. Almost done with my post now, and it seems everyone is either Neutral or village except Drake, who while I have yet to do a thorough reading of, I still think is the SK.
  13. CFD - CFD'ing or to "CFD" someone is when a group of voters suddenly switch votes right before end of day to someone who was previously not in contention to be lynched. I don't know where the term came from. I just picked it up from MU. I probably should have said hammer...
  14. Im working on my analysis still, just working on Sart right now, and I like him. I want a CFD on Drake. no one should trust Drake. It is unfortunate he wont be on before rollover, but as he will survive the lynch to kill us all, I think it will be fine. Since I feel like Sart will vote on me if a CFD starts on Drake, I will temporarily vote: Furamirionind I did read them as evil anyways... Edit: @Sart I take your choice, and raise it by one choice! : P
  15. Ok, I forgot how fast a MR moves... Snipexe, "Scissors": Neutral Snip has posted 4 times this game. Mostly they have been pretty meaningless, except for where he advocates for a no lynch today as well. Or at least says he wont be placing a vote. @Snipexe there will be a lynch today, so please place a vote on someone. He was completely right this is basically a D1 lynch though... Xinoehp512, "Llerk": Neutral Xino hasn't posted much either. Though he has made a game relevant post as well, where he says that DA sounds genuine. My only concern with Xino, is I know he plays an essentially identical elim/village game. However he usually does more RP than he has so far this game. While this definitely doesn't raise red flags, it is a minor differance from his normal game, and therefore, keeping an eye on Xino is a good idea. This definitely doesn't deserve an elim lean however. Elandera "Bad Wolf" Brenna: Neutral While Elandera has done quite a bit of posting this game, it has almost all been about the Krell. When talking about the Krell, she also has never mentioned the SK. After being prompted, she did a quick and dirty player analysis post, but those are all gut reads, and she didn't commit to any single opinion. However, I generally like Elandera's tone and she has been helpful with the Krell. While this doesn't make her any less likely to be an elim, it does mean we should be reluctant to lynch her immediately. Elandera is another player on my watch list Mailliw73, Millis “Storm” Stromberg: Neutral Justifiably preocupied, but I stand by what I said before. If we don't get some good content by EoD4, he should be our lynch. Ninja'd by Maill, and I like what he says. I agree with Elandera being NAI, and that Sart's lynch doesn't make sense. Ark1002, Bard "Bastard" Dominion: Neutral (slight elim?) Vote on me basically has no substance to it. He claims to be sheeping DA, but DA hadn't cast a vote on me, and was clearly confused about what had happened. One of the theories he suggested had me being evil, but when someone is that confused, you have to take their thoughts whith a grain of salt. My problem, is Ark has read to me as an elim every game I have played with him except for LG54. Where I still read him as an elim for having a completely different playstyle than his normal. Casting semi-random votes is also not uncommon for Ark, but a DA/Ark elim team would be interesting if the vote on me was an Ark slip... Furamirionind, Julis "Junior" Elliot: Elim Very suspicious, says that you can't trust their reads, questions others, doesn't post analysis, but even if they did, you couldn't trust it. Says they should be lynched D6. These things may sound like jokes, but generally speaking, by calling themself an elim and so on, they subtly discredit other's claims that they are that in you subconscience. I forget what the actual effect is called, but it is very useful for people not to think about you too hard. Anyone applying these tactics must be lynched ASAP. Or D6. Either works. Cadmium "CadCom" Compounder: Neutral (um do you mean Lum?) CadCom's posts are all NAI. Lum has barely posted If it was yesturday, I would vote on Lum to try to force her to post something, but it isn't yesterday, and I don't want a CFD on Lum. I'm working on the next group, but they are the group that will actually have reads... (im just working down the player list) Could someone post a votecount so I can see if I am in danger of dying? I would really like to finish this analysis before I die... and I never did get around to that role analysis... Edit: nvm, just added Sart's vote to Elandera's vote count. Right now, no one is getting lynched... Hmm...
  16. "How about you return them first?" Ford said hopefully, but as he said this, he saw another glint in the distance, and raced towards it instead. When he arrived, he saw quills just floating in the air. Facinating Ford reached into his pocket for his notebook, opened it, and started to scribble down this new phenomenon. Then he went to proof read whelat he had scribbled, and remembered he had no quills... Oops. He reached up to grab one of the many floating quills, but his hand passed right through it. The glint caught his eye again, and saw a vial of metals floating similarly, also incorporial. They all started floating away. Ford made chase. -------------------- @Fifth Scholar are we supposed to RP our recovery of the items, or are we supposed to get close, and then you tell us if we got them or not?
  17. @Darkness Ascendant my suggesting a lynch on Maill D4 is not baseless. Maill is a good player, and I expect good players to be contributing to a game. How else are we supposed to catch them? By giving him until D4, I have given him over 48 hours to do analysis and figure out what is going on. I think that more than fair. It would be baseless if I said to lynch him today. That will give us no info. I am about to start my analysis post now. Edit: Also, activity is not the same as contribution. I called Elandera out for not talking about players, and she started talking about players. My post about her did what it was supposed to.
  18. Not even me saying I should be lynched D6 and my analysis tommorow likely wont tell you anything about my actual thoughts on the game? Lol Also, you are hard cleared under the assumtion all rebels are gunners right? I was assuming there would only be 1 (maybe 2) gunners. Not all rebels have to be gunners right? Also, maybe we are all just taking your advice to ignore hard clears too seriously. : P
  19. We are halfway through D3 and there have been 2 deaths, and far less analysis that I feel there should be. Very few people are actually talking about other players. I suspect that we will be better off finding the elims in the people not talking about other players. The votes on Sart, were effective in that regard, as he started talking about players, and sounded very intelligent. The two people I would like to hear more from in particular on D3 are Elandera and Lumgol. I don't feel like I have heard Elandera's point of view at all this game. Also, i'll give Maill a break this cycle, but if he hasn't posted a nice player analysis post by EoD 4, I think we should lynch him then. The last player who has been suspiciously unhelpful this game, is myself. I would like to hear more from me, and I think I would be a good D6 lynch if I have not contradicted this post before then. This weekend I am running sound for my theater again, so I will be busy. But this time, it will only be Sat/Sun and no Mon. I will try to do a good old fashioned Fura-Analysis post tomorrow. For those that haven't played with me before, what I consider to be Fura-Analysis, is a detailed account of every player, and my thoughts on whether I suspect them or not. The problem, is I usually counter all my own suspicions and village reads, so when I am done with the post, everyone is pretty much back to neutral. Cool, I'll get one of those out as well. I would do it tonight, but my wifi is about to shut off in 6 minutes, so I don't really have time... edit: several/a couple ninjas. no idea
  20. It's a little early in the game for striker to attempt this as an elim. Hot take: I think Striker probably village.
  21. According to your logic, I feel like your vote should be on Bard. Hehehehe
  22. personally, i see little difference between that distinction... No! Well, not completely. I must admit I appreciate it. When I came back to the game, I forgot rollover was extended and thought the turn would be over, then saw like 3 people vote on me. So you can imagine I was a bit releaved when I saw your retraction. But no, I like your progression on me. You don't stick to your opinion because it is yours, and I can see your thought process on why you took your vote off. That is what I liked.
  23. I wrote this before rollover and didn't post it as I actually thought Stick would die. But rereading it, it reads way better being posted now. lol Ford ran outside his house and saw a similar glint in the same location! Excited, he raced over, to see an angry Astick marching towards him. Well, now was a good a time to die as any, Ford thought. Without his quills, how was he ever supposed to stand against the power of a full Mistborn? As Astick approached, Ford contemplated his life. Ah, at a mere 200 years old, he had contributed greatly to the book he was researching for. He had discovered gods still unknown to the Cosmere. And he had learned to harness the power of words. Yet, without Arthur staring back at Ford in confusion, he felt nothing he did truly mattered. He could not rollover and wait for his death! He grabbed a cinder-block and placed it, and ran backwards 20 paces. There! Maybe Astick would trip on it and go away! Umm, Astick did, in fact, not trip on the cinder-block. And just walked around it. "What have you done with my quills?!" Ford called out, "I know you stole them so that I would be unable to get you killed!" @_Stick_
