Dalinar even mistakes a dead honor Spren for a amien.

    My guess is that it would work the same as in the cognitive realm. The knights keep there abilities but lose the shard blade.

    Give we are told by ishar that he is trying to bring back the oathpack. Given that we are told several times that cognitive shadows are closer to Spren then they are to people. Given that the key difference between the Heralds and other connective creatures are there physical bodies. Given that we see ishar trying to give physical bodies to cognitive beings in the form of high Spren. Is ishar trying to figure out how to give a cognitive being a physical body? If so dose he intended to use this to create new Heralds to replace the old broken ones?

    We have seen that Sanderson has been inspired by biblical themes before in mistborn with moash becoming blind do you think he is pulling from the story of paul? After he was healed paul became the apostle of the gentiles, will Moash become the Herald of the singers?

    I think hes trying to make new heralds. A lot of attention is put on the fact that the heralds are like Spren But with physical bodies. I believe that Ishar is trying to figure out how to replicate this process so he can make more heralds to replace the old. While not human Spren are similar to Cognitive shadows So it makes sense to experiment on them When trying to figure out how to give a cognitive shadow of physical body like the Herald's.

    Not yet but BAM is is involving. Originally she couldn't make regales but she learned how to form bonds to singers. I could easily see her developing the ability to form a knights radiance bond and thereby become the next bond Smith spren.

    Just because she hasn't won the war doesn't mean she's not effective or scary I mean Look how afraid people are of the Corona virus that doesn't even kill one out of a 100 people imagine if I had the knowledge and capability And willingness to create a virus That Killed 1 in 10 people. And that's just one of her exploits, There's a good chance that she might have been behind the making of the unmade. Hell by end of the book she's made a way to kill spren That's pretty effective and terrifying to me.

    I agree that this is fairly close fight but the full born as far as I can tell has the advantage. Your forgetting That storm healing has nothing on a fullborns healing. Nights radiance die from the decapacation fullborn only laugh. Not to mention we there practically the flash. It took vin nearly ascending to shard hood to kill the lord ruler. The last men with all ten surges was killed by a large arrow.
