ohh I know that one =) We even made some alloys in material science and I really had to stop myself from trying to see if they were allomantically active. -
Thanks I guess I'll tell her that one when next she askes.... It is still pretty frustrating! The funniest thing was when I recommended mistborn to her, she refused because I only have the english copies and not two months later she tells me about this wonderful book she has found..... Well you can probably guess which one she was talking about . At least she has good taste! That's the problem sometimes I really hate what translations do to a good book. poor turtle. I deepfrosted yoghurt and licked on that because it helped more than simple cool packs. Perhaps it'll help you too.

And what drives me really mad is she is always asking me for recommendations... and then she is not satisfied when I can only point out titles in english. Is it my problem that I only read books in english now? ooh... you have my sympathy. getting teeth pulled out sucks... how many of yours are they gonna take out?

My mom read mistborn but in german and she refuses to read anything of his in english (but I only have the english books since I'm too impatient to wait till they get translated) so she hasn't read anything else.

I grew up with game boys. The first one I had was that old black and white one (like @Sorana) and I mostly played Pokemon Gen1 (a lot) especcially on our skiing holiday since I had other people to trade and fight with then =). But I also played the newer games and really loved Golden Sun. Since my fiance has a lot of nintendo consoles (from an old atari, over n64 to Wii, we have al lot of them at home; and a lot of old games) I have played many games since we have been together. like The Legend of Zelda (from the original over ocarina of Time to Skyward Sword (sadly we don't own a switch (yet) so no BotW) or Castlevania.

REALLY??? I don't expect snow to show up here till spring next year (if the last years can be any indication and no that should not be normal) so it's really cool you get some before christmas =)

I'm thinking about starting that one line per loss thing, too. Sounds way more interesting than simply stating 'I lost' everytime I look at my notifications by the way.... I lost again!
