I have to think about the Breath part for a bit, but there is something that I think Songbearer should do. If we really propose our motion at the next meeting, I think he should prepare for it. Read some textes, learn about motions and the correct way to propose one. And of course he has to think about the whole topic and prepare it. In my opinion we can only profit if we prepare this IC as well, and don't only discuss it here in the thread. [X] Prepare to propose our motion regarding a 'insurance-system' for injured dockworkers. Additionally I think we should mix with the other Returned, get to know them, so that we might be able to sway them to support us. [X] Play a game of Tarachin with a few of the gods

Temeria laughed at at his whisper. A statue, he had a statue. It made sense she supposed if his colleagues created this planet. It also meant, that while he had told her, that he was no god, he was most likely more powerful than any Returned. She shrugged the thought away, although there was this nagging motion, that she was nothing but prey in this city. "Gladly." She accepted his offer and looked to her backpack. "Could you tell me where my room is? Then I don't need to carry everything with me." His words about the war had been grave, the destruction he described, the weapons. A world sitting on a spike in the center of this city. It sounded almost hilarious, but she could see that he was earnest, that he believed it. His organization had created this world, slowly she realized what it meant. Maybe he didn't call himself a god, but still - she suppressed another laugh, albeit a slightly crazy one, when she wondered what her mother would say, if she had some advice how to deal with someone like him, what to do. Leaning back in her stool she considered him for a moment, his change in mood, how he was surprisingly easy to talk to. What ever she knew about gods and the creation of a world, she had to forget it all. This place was different, a crazy kind of different, if long pieces of metal could kill at a distance. A challenge. The thought to stay here, to learn about this world, it was a challenge. She had learnt a new trade when she arrived in Hallandren. Most likely she would have to do the same. Learn and find a place for herself.

Sorana screamed in rage when she saw the popsicle sticks, without popsicles. Unfair, this was unfair. Hastily she exchanged Twilight for Breaking Dawn, her only hardcover of this series. Trying to hide beneath the book, the popsicles still cut her arms and shoulders open. Pain raced through her arms and she groaned, when blood dripped to the ground around her. Blood. Narrowing her eyes at Truthless she lowered her book again, the popsicle stics like spikes in the cover. With a grim smile she ran over to him, ripped out one of the sticks and tried to stab him.

Sorana stepped onto the battlefield and looked around. In her hand she held a slightly burnt copy of twilight. The small paperback edition, and it had gone through many hands. All her friends hand borrowed it, carried it through school. Years, it had been years since she read that series and then banned it into the second row of one of her shelves. Grimacing she saw her skin sparkle in the sunlight, yep there was that. Taking out a mirror to look at her eyes, she heard the sounds of her teammates fighting. Well, maybe the whole finding out who she was had to wait for later. She rushed towards FT, lifted the book to smack it straight across his head.

Sagitta spread her arms in protection, when Negation did something, when the boy came back to life. She stared at him, stared at the gods, shook her head. This was wrong. Incredibly wrong. "He wasn't one of yours." She was surprised by her voice, it sounded brittle, shocked. The dead they were dead. It was how it worked. You remembered and then they were gone. Gone. She swallowed, wondered what she was supposed to do against gods, if they expected her to fall on her knees and thank them. No. Her eyes darted to sensation, a man, not a woman as she had been told, and she wondered if the rest of the tale had been true, if the stars really were a present, of if it was a lie as well. Per chance. They were gods. They weren't supposed to do things by chance. They were supposed to know everything, to be above their mortal problems and worries. "Why don't you stop the wars?" She asked their earlier question, because somehow it mattered. Mattered almost more than the boy that was walking the earth again. An undead. There were tales about undead, about creatures crawling from the sea, from the ocean. Reaching out for those brave enough to face the waves. Living in the swamps, pulling the unlucky ones into their cold embrace. She felt cold at the thought, that a god had just created a monster, just like that, only to show that they were a god. It were their rules, their country. She made sure to continue to look at the gods, but her thoughts swirled around what happened. They might need to escape, might need to flee. If these gods created undead, who knew what they would do next.

Lena returned after a while, looked for Alask. She was still smiling, although more like a cat that had gotten what it wanted, than her earlier amused expression. Her movements were slightly off and if someone looked close, they would see that her pupils were still slightly widened from the drugs she had taken. Poisons were something beautiful. Like a power to wrap itself around you and never let you go again. And the power was hers. "Hey Alask." She greeted him and then looked at the weapons. "Are you ready to go?" @I think I am here.

Althea listened to the woman reply to her and then to one muttering to himself. Anything to kill. She'd have to keep an eye on that fellow. She made some notes regarding the information they'd gotten and then, when ACE stopped the presentation without giving anybody else a chance to ask another question she got up. She would have done the same. the questions had turned into a dangerous direction. Better to stop it now, before it could escalate completely. More people talking about killing, could easily derail the whole operation. She considered the director's words regarding the fund and then quickly send a notice to her secretary, to check these informations. A board, private investors and the bank. Sounded logical. Especially after a war the crows usually tried to pick up the breadcrumbs and to build something like that, would only be benefical. If it worked, then the people would like ACE, and they would make good money. High risk investment, but a logical one. For a moment she looked over the room, tried to locate the guy who'd shouted through the room. She nodded curtly at Karin, then walked over to the man. "Hello. My name is Althea Tenira." she introduced herself in an attempt to get his attention.

I agree, let's just gloss over this. We don't know how much the workers have left over, we are guessing here. I actually based the first part on laws in germany and adapted them to fit the injury part, but I feel like I wasn't too clear what I meant. I'll try to explain. I am by no means a lawyer or anything like that, so don't take the formulations for final. The employer has to offer a suitable position to an injured worker, if there is one available, should the injury prevent the owrker from going back to his previous position. the keyword here is suitable. It means, that only these positions need to be offered, that the worker can fulfill. Usually you have to give him some time to get used to it/ learn the new requirements, but he has to be qualified for this. E.g. someone who worked with his arms before, but lost one, could be moved to a position where he has to stop on grapes to make wine. He meets the qualification and he can learn in short time what he has to do there. the rights of the company regarding firing their employee stay the same (although I doubt, that there is anything like that) The employer has to try to support their worker to find a new position, should they have nothing in their own company. Actually I only thought of maybe talking to some friends, getting the worker a few interviews. If they are hired or not, is up to the other company. This is a point, where I feel like we don't know enough about Hallandren work condition and economics to really judge and decide this. We can go by the medieval ages, in that case the common, poor people usually died instead of being able to see a medic. But we don't know, so we can come up with something, that suits so, so I am in favor of your idea. Well, if we assume, that they do all the hard work, then we can basically stop now (let's just gloss over this as well) that's good. I feel like we might need a bit more time.

Sagitta jerked awake, realized she had accidently nodded of. A voice, new voices, different voices. She stayed where she was for a moment, listened, tried to understand the situation, where the new ones were, what they had done. Gods, they clamined to be gods? It had to be a joke. Here she was, sitting on the ground, claiming that the gods didn't care about mortals, and then two of them walked up to them? She reached out for the branch once more, got to her feet. One thing after the other. Wordlessly she stepped in front of Price and Zura, covered her limp up again. There was no need to add anything to the questions already asked, and so she stayed quiet.

"I have a hard time being alone." Temeria admitted. "Sometimes I can handle it, most of the time I can't." Falling silent she drew a pattern on the table, considered his words. She was tempted to ask about his magic, but then decided against. If he kept occupied to avoid reflecting, then she didn't want to leave him in a position where he might feel obligated to reply to her. "Can you tell me about this world? Things I should know or be aware of?" She asked instead, because hopefully it was a topic that he was able to talk about easily. @MacThorstenson

Zokora stepped out on the stage and looked around over the crowd. She noted some of those that had fought bravely during the invasion, some others Althea had sent on missions. Some she hadn't seen before. She knew, she was the wrong one to be here, it should have been Althea, but Althea had decided to go to the ACE building, see what the expedition was about. And so it was her, so she was the one pushed on the stage. "Welcome!" She addressed the crowd and looked around. "Welcome to Oasis and welcome to our annual celebration. Today we will talk about heros, we will talk about the brave souls, that fought for us. We honor those that do our work in the shadow and we will offer those that want to, a moment in the light." Smiling she looked around, watched the assembled ones. "No matter, if you receive a promotion tonight, or not, all of you do fabulous work and I am proud to belong to the same guild. We are the Ghostbloods and we have earned our place here." Too much, that last part had been too much. Why did Althea always push these tasks to her? She liked to work in the shadows, out of the shadows and stay there. "I am proud, that I am the one to welcome you tonight, and I am more than proud to have the honor to announce Mr. Itiah. He will guide you through the evening." She stepped to the side, decided that she had said enough. "And here he is. Mr. Itiah." She made sure to turn the micro off, and to remain smiling, when she turned to the man, that would take over. He could only be more comfortable in such a situation. @Sherlock Holmes @Oduim's Chmapion @kenod @Truthless of Shinovar @bees? @AonEne @I think I am here.

Wita gave Quinn a quick wave and then moved closer to Marcel. Quinn was strange, he was dangerous. And he frightened her slightly. "We should go?" She asked quietly, and shifted her weight from one foot to the other. "If we stay here for long, it will be suspicious." @Eluvianii @Hope Spren @Dr. Dapper
