Damaya led Pry to the room she'd worked for to pay the rent for a night and opened the door. It looked like the other room of the Waystop, with a warm bed and a place to put personal belongings. "Here you are. And thanks again for your drawing instructions. I'll definitly try them out." She smiled and waited for Pry to enter, before walking away. @Silva

Damaya let Araha walk away and knelt down next to the girl sleeping in the hallway. Softly shaking her she tried to wake her up. "You don't need to sleep on the floor. I can show you a place where you can sleep in a bed." @Silva

Hello and welcome! Die you read other books aside from the Stormlight Archive as well? And I personally like Shallan, too. Although this while love-triangle with Kaladin and Adolin got exhausting sometime along the read. I really hope this is resolved once and for all.

I have to admit, I didn't want to reply first, but then my thoughts returned to this thread again and again. So here I am. Maybe this helps. A friend of mine killed herself. And two others I partially knew followed her. And that's what saved me. Because @Silva is right. You don't change anything. Your parents will get a card, and you they will forget. So don't do it. They won't like you more because of it. If you survive they'll treat you like you're insane and if you die, they'll go on with their lifes. The only possibility to change something, to have an impact on the world is to go on. To live. Maybe you won't be an Albert Einstein, but you can make a difference to those around you. Even it it's just a friend you hug, or an animal you feed. There was a time in my life I planed to kill myself and I didn't. And it took me years, but today I'm grateful for it. And I'm sure you also get that feeling, so don't give up!

Damaya watched Mr Amber leave for the kitchen. Well, at least he wasn't dying anymore. Although a thank you would have been nice. She then turned to Araha. "Sorry, that I left you alone in there. But I wasn't sure if Mr Amber was dying or not and once you were free - the Girl next to him looked so frightened." She stepped forward and hugged her. "You're all right? You didn't get hurt?" @Cyanic

Damaya helped Mr Amber outside and did what he told her to do. Ouside she whispered to Mr Amber: "I fear that it's me they're looking for. And I have no idea why." She closed her eyes for a moment. "But your injuries are more important." @Life&Death

Damaya looked back at Araha, then rushed over to Ski. She couldn't help with that fight. But that woman hat just asked for her help. "Just tell me what to do. How badly are his injuries?" @Life&Death

Damaya tried to catch Ski's eyes with her own. Her last wo infused spheres had rolled out of her hand when the Chaos Marine had shoved her away and lay close to Ski on the ground. She looked at them and then back at Ski. Maybe they could help the old man, while nobody was allowed to move. @Life&Death Only then did she realize that the name the man had told them sounded almost like her own. And the last name was the name of the lover of the woman who had "taken" her in. Shards, what was going on?

Damaya rushed to Araha and knelt down next to her. She had never really comforted someone before, so she simply did what Araha had done maybe half an hour earlier. Dayne was already there so she simply included him in her hug. Looking over Araha's shoulder she shot Dayne an helpless look. "I'm here, Araha." She said quietly and then let Dayne so the talking. It seemed like he knew what to say

Damaya stepped up next to Araha and Dayne and looked them over. They seemed to be alright. Softly she put a hand on Araha's arm and tried to comfort her. Ever since she had woken up in the room Araha had acted strange and she wasn't sure what to make out of that. "We should start to clean up. The hallway is a mess after that bomb exploded." She fell silent when she realized how tired she was. "And I need to sleep soon."

"I'm fine with staying behind." She answered, happy that the whole bait topic was off the table. She would have done it, but not doing it was better. Slowly she extended a Hand towards Coru and silently asked him to come over. He followed her invitation, buzzing lightly and curled around her arm. Her hands held her staff in a death like grip and she a slight pinch of envy covered at the back of her mind. Araha and Dayne were so strong, so brave. And she was happy to be excluded from the plan. It was wrong, she was such a coward. Nodding to herself she tried to muster at least an attempt at courage and smiled encouragingly at the other two - or more at herself. It didn't really help. She was still afraid of the moment the man, if she could call him that, would come around the corner.

"All right. I'll tell you where to go." Damaya stepped behind Dayne and Arah and let them take the lead.

"My bag should be in the hallway." Damaya replied. "On the floor somewhere. I can't remember when I lost it, so it should have been sometime after the Explosion." She touched Arahas arm. "Are you all right? You seem different." She took one of the spheres Dayne offered and breathed the stormlight in. Immediatly she felt better, stronger. "Let's go and see what we can do about that Chaos Marine?" @Cyanic @wiritospren
