  1. Althea followed him over and watched him for a moment, smiling again, when she saw him there. "I need to buy another stool." She decided and leaned against a wall close to him. Then she thought about his question. "After breakfast? She suggested.
  2. Sounds good to me.
  3. Max got up and for a moment she stayed where she was, then with a sigh she left the bed as well. She lifted the dress from the floor and hung it up, the she straightened the blanket and opened a window to let some fresh air into the room. Following Max she fetched a bowl for herself, relieved that he wanted to eat cereal. There wouldn't have been anything else, apart from an apple or two. "You can have the stool." She offered and grabbed an apple for herself. For a moment she hesitated, then focused to cut the apple. She'd already manage to ruin the mood, there was no reason to keep back now. "I'd like to look for Solace." She told him without looking up.
  4. That would work. Limit the amount of possible investiture someone has and gives you the oppotunity to play a complete investiture free character.
  5. Because I don't know how to do it. She replied silently and then turned, knelt down next to Nogard, her decision to do something so easily scattered like leaves dancing in the wind. Anger at herself started to boil. She had to be strong, she had to be, whatever. She couldn't let herself be cowed by everything. Coru crawled on her hand and buzzed slightly. "Just talk?" He suggested and his letters formed a circle for a moment, then changed again. Damaya sighed. "Island, what's going on?"
  6. But in the end this would all non-investiture characters to have some invested items, if only to have access to the other points. I prefer that you have one amount of points you can spend and if you pack it all in non investiture skills, then that's it. But nobody will play a non-investiture, non-imten character if that means that you only have half of the points to spend, than when you do.
  7. Laonin's ring? (And your shardblade, but I'm not counting that one for Althea)
  8. "If it's not you, what is going on?" Damaya noticed the gemstone and then ignored it.
  9. Probably. I already have that issue with Althea. If I count the wedding presents in and the link with Max she is probably over 100 points...
  10. Good luck to all of you! I'm really excited to read what you think of! @Ashspren Thanks a lot! I had a lot of fun, and I was really honored that you let me participate this time. But honestly, everybody else was better than me.
  11. @2001Kra
  12. "He's in pain." Damaya explained. "He was fine, until this man here "now". And then he collapsed from pain." She took a deep breath, not moving her eyes away from the man. "Stop it."
  13. I have a question regarding character advancement. If my Era 3 character advances, gains new skills, or a new weapon, speaks an oath, whatever, and then is over the 100 point border. Does that mean, I can't play him/her the next Era anymore?
  14. Damaya stared at him. "I don't trust you." she answered truthfully. "You come here, you explain nothing and then you hurt someone that tried to help my friend. Why should I trust you?" Nogard hadn't reacted at all so far, probably he was already too far gone to even hear her words. That meant she could go. She couldn't help him, by staying by his side right now. Damaya slowly got to her feet and stared at the stranger. Carefully she brushed out her skirts. "You know, I grew up in a house. I almost never left it, I stayed inside." her voice grew darker, memories woke up, tried to grab her, but she pushed them away. There wasn't time to break down now. She took a step towards him. "Nobody cared what happened, because they all thought, that it was the only way to protect their own families, that nothing could be changed. And guess what?" she laughed a dark, almost insane sounding laugh. Another step. "Nothing changed. Because nobody tried. Because nobody thought about another way." On her arm Coru grew still, but she went on, took another step, and another. "I won't accept, that this is the only way. Not like this. Not without him giving his consent, to sacrifice himself for whatever you want to do, not with you showing here up like this and start hurting people." She tried to grab his wrists, to pull his hands apart. "I don't care what your trying to do, or if you think, this is the only way. I'll glady offer to help find another path to follow, but I won't stand by while you hurt someone." @xinoehp512
  15. Storms. Althea closed her eyes for a moment. She had messed this up, ruined it. She shouldn't have adressed it, she should have known. She listened to Max, heard when he stopped speaking to her and mostly to himself. “So, if you want us to have the same last name. Then that’ll mean I’ll have to change to Tenira.” Shaking her head she turned around and pulled him close. "No, you don't have to. I'm sorry. It's not important." Althea closed her eyes again and then tightened her embrace. Pain, it always came back to pain for them. And yet, without their pain, they wouldn't be here either. "Forget about it, please." she asked him and then after a short pause, discarded all other serious topics. They had time for that later. "What do you want to eat for breakfast?" @I think I am here.
  16. Do you think we need to susbtract points for their mind link as well? Maybe you don't need to spend points for every single sword you own? I mean it's not like you can wield two shardblades at the same time.
  17. "Then stop this!" Damaya called, gesturing at Nogard. "There has to be another way."
  18. Thanks. I guess Damaya's count as fluff, never used a single one during the whole era 2.
  19. Althea's heart jumped at the gesture and she snuggled closer to him, content to be close to him. “So,” he said. “Now that that’s somewhat done, I heard something about last names?” She nodded, remembered how Max hadn't used a last name at their wedding. "I haven't heard you use a last name yet." She started carefully. "So I guess you could use mine, or you change nothing - I mean, I'm not opposed to change mine, it's more like - I like the idea to share a last name. I don't care who changes, I can do it."
  20. Do you count the ability to cook as a skill I should substract some points? Same with other "fluff stuff" e.g. Damaya knows like embroidery or painting? That's nothing everybody knows, but the effect on the rp is meagre.
  21. For Althea it's close, too. Especially if I count in the ring from Laonin she'd been given as a present. But then I'm not sure how much I can substract for her weakness. So I guess it might work. Damaya and Lena both work easily.
  22. "Of course I want to live together with you." She leaned against him, thinking about his suggestions for a while. She liked them, all of them, to move to Shadesmar or to another planet sounded great and yet, reality finally started to grab her again. "As long as I am Righthand I need to be close to the Alleycity, or to Oasis." She replied quietly. "So maybe a place outside of Alleycity? And until we find something we could stay here. If you don't mind."
  23. Max sat up too, strechted briefly and her smile widened as she appreciated the way he moved, as he easily distracted her again. "... talk about first?" He looked at her expectantly and Althea stared at him for a moment, then laughed at herself. "I'm sorry. I'll concentrate." She thought for moment and then shrugged. "Where we live?" She suggested. "If you want to move in together, that is of course."
