"Max and I can easily pass information around, over a large distance as well." Althea stated. "As long as we're in the same realm it works." "And no, no objections on my part."

And so said Sharder followed @Silva s call and came by to take a look. A story, she'd just become a story? That was good, she guessed, she liked stories. She remembered when she had looked for a profile picture, found the painting and it had fit her. She liked magic, and the woman looked strong, self confident. She looked like she had her own story to tell: Let's say to woman's name was Amelia, her real name was lost, but Amelia will work for now. Amelia grew up in a large town, with a spiral tower. Her parents were poor, the öived from day to day, earning money, buying food, earning more money. They were overly happy, when they managed to secure an apprenticeship for their daughter and so she moved to the master craftsman, started to learn a trade. But Amelia had dreams and every day she stopped, looked at the tower and wished she could be a mage herself. Maybe a sorcceress. Maybe a truthsayer, she'd even become a necromancer, as long as she was able to wield that mysterious power everything would be fine. And her dream came true. One day she discovered her powers in a way that is not important for us right now, important is, that she learned how to use them. Years later, a war ripped her country apart, the earth was poisoned and thousands died by the claws of demons and beasts. The mages in the tower were clueless, they had no idea what to do, how to battle these creatures and they died gruesome deaths while trying to figure it out. Then Amelia had an idea. Using herself as bait she destroyed the veil between the worlds and lured the demons into the eerie glow of another plane. They followed her, the scent of her blood and so the trap worked. Amelia repaired the veil, but she trapped herself and since then she is fighting, keeps the demons occupied, as she has no idea if they are able to leave this place again after her death. @Dragon reborn

"Then we should take stock of what we have in the cellar. How much food and wine. Maybe we'll find some basic tools there as well." Lizanne slowly started to limp back to the cellar.

Lena looked up at the ceiling and nodded in agreement. "If you're not opposed to it, we could always meet for a cup of tea and continue the conversation without a large battleship looming above our heads later. Or tomorrow, or next week." It wasn't like she had a tight schedule.

Althea followed him down, destroyed the dam and closed the tunnel before shutting the trap door above her. Then she walked up to the others, listened into the dark.

Shana looked up at him and shook her head. "I wanted to go downstairs." Slowly she got to her feet, used the wall for support. Her legs shook slightly, but she hoped he wouldn't notice, or at least not comment on it. "Rob." She started and then simply spoke, hoped her words weren't utterly wrong. "You don't need to stand alone. I'll stand by your side. And if you ever need to talk or to not-talk to someone. I'm here."

"After you Max." Althea gestured towards the door, not replying to Devaan's words. Did he think her stupid? Of course she would destroy the dam, before leaving here. He's used to commanding people, to think for them. Brashen whispered, noticing her irritation and she nodded slightly. Devaan was difficult to handle, he'd stepped into her life and despite her decision to trust him, to include him, she had a hard time to let people come close. And there was this part of her, that wanted to impress him, despite everything. Althea pushed it all away and waited for Max to climb down the sewer.

He snatched his sketchbook away, but she saw the flames he'd drawn and felt sick. "I don't know." Shana forced herself to laugh. "I've been asleep. I'm not sure I'll be able to stand long enough anyway." She wanted to tell him, that it wasn't his fault, that if she was allowed to go full out, then he was as well, that she'd never ever do this again, that she wasn't angry or anything, that she wished they could stay friends despite what happened, that she trusted him. But the way he had switched the topic, showed clearly, that he didn't want to talk about it and so she swallowed the words, stayed silent. "I guess I should go." She said instead and tried to summon the strength to get up again.

Shana blushed, she should have talked to Ben before going here. Rash just as earlier. Stupid, stupid Shana. "I'm sorry. I was asleep, and..." "Rob I'm sorry. I can't tell you how sorry. Please, you'll be alright won't you?" She was unable to cover the desperation, the guilt leaking into her voice.

Shana opened the door and stepped into the room. "Hey Rob." She greeted him and looked around his room in surprise. It was bare, boring. "How can you...?" She started and then shook her head, this was the worst way to start this conversation. Slowly she walked over to his matress and sat down next to it, leaned against the wall. Sitting was better. The few steps from her room to his had never seemed so far before. "How are you?"

Shana awoke sometime later, still exhausted but she felt a bit better. It was during the day, she'd always had trouble sleeping while it was bright outside. She was alone save for Mahad. "Search for Ben?" She asked him and then got to her feet. Slowly she walked to her door and then over to Rob's room, a hand trailing along the wall, to make it easier to stay upright. She wanted to apologize and then she would look for Ben, maybe sleep some more with him close by. Lifting her hand she knocked on the door. @I think I am here.

Laurelai changed, her face, the way she stood, how she looked at her. Her gaze became more predatory, as she seized her up, tried to guess her body weight and height. Lena knew that gaze, it was the same way, how she had seized up several partyguests earlier. How she had looked at Alask before his shade took over the first time. But even more important she was talking about poisons. "I prefer neurotoxins. Usually biologically deprieved as that's what I can do at home. They are fast, and there is no general necessity to ingest them." Lena smiled while answering, excited that she finally had found someone who understood at least what she was talking about. "Bioaccumulating substances are interesting as well, but they always pose the risk that their effects get discovered too early." Stopping herself she lifted her hands, in an attempt to appear apologizing, although she wasn't really sorry. "I hope I am not keeping you from something?"

Lizanne nodded. "Can you teach me how to get water out of the alcohol?" She asked and then thought about the food. "I know some things about farming, edible plants and all that. But farming is longterm. First we need to find something to eat, keep the seeds and plant them. It might be good to built some kind shelter for the plants, depending on the weather conditions." "If we find glasses or jars we could also cook preserves for winter. All based on the part where we are able to build a fire. Maybe we could keep some animals as well." Making an unwilling gesture she pushed it all aside. "For now we need to find anything, animals, fruits, vegetables. Survive the next days and then we can start thinking about winter."

Zokora followed closely behind the man, a satchel with different thin folders over her shoulder. She disliked leaving Oasis, but as it was, there had been no other choice. Inter-guild relations, these people were strange in her experience.

Lizanne froze. What got them here. Broken. Did she want to get back? If the way here was broken, then she was safe. That was good, as in really, really good? "Let's focus on more pressing matters." "I am repeating myself, but we need water, food, maybe some kind of shelter apart from the cellar." She gestured towards the sky, indicating the stormclouds "We'll be dead in a few days if we can't get our hands on a useful water supply. And I doubt that whatever was here is still intact." @kenod @ZincAboutIt @I think I am here. @Blessing of Potency

The man who had followed him, to judge his performance, facepalmed and then shook his head. He'd seen a lot of bad missions, some good ones that still failed but this, this one was unique. An explosion, alcohol and no success made in sum for a real bad impression. With a sigh he started working on his report, waited to see what the Underling would do next.

"I only distracted them, Devaan blew them up." Her face stayed impassive, but she sent him a picture of herself smiling at his compliment, as she doubted he would be able to discern the small signs that gave her away in the eerie light. "This doesn't work like that. And we don't have the time for an hour-long search." Inhaling until her skin started to glow softly, she walked along the tunnel, until the end of the area they were searching. Grasping some of the water she turned it to stone, built a small damm, just high enough to stop the water from flowing into the tunnel. Kneeling down she reached out with her mind again, soulcast the stone, made a new pipe, one leading down in to the earth. It didn't take the water long to flow away, the tunnel drying.

"Yes. The range of topics I'm interested in is rather narrow." Lena admitted and then asked straightforward. "What do you know about poisons? Not these harmless little things, that take away your pain, but poisons? The beautiful ones, that make your skin crawl, and dry your mouth. Those that can change their effect depending on combinations and the dose you give someone. Those that can be harmless until they are not, until they color your lips, or slowly destroy your life." Her voice turned passionate as she tried to explain what she meant, what she was interested in.

Althea threw him a sphere and then walked over to Max, to the side of the tunnel. She started searching the wall for anything out of place, moving slowly in the dim light of her sphere.
