  1. Althea whimpered involuntarily when he used his lense on her. Another one. Why did they all think they could just enter her mind and head and never ask for permission. She knew the kid wanted to help, but for her it simply piled up on the mess, on the things that made her feel vulnerable and naked. Taking two steps over to Max she touched his sleeve to make sure that he was here, that he was real. She made sure to pull up her mask again, to appear strong, but it became harder with every word anybody of them said in her head. "Why did you kill our children?" She asked Vesuvius instead. There was something grave about him, something that didn't fit the image of the guy he had shown them so far. @Gancho Libre
  2. Shana felt Ben vanish and almost hastily grapped the thing pulling at her. She felt a bit sick when reality shifted this time, but it was better than loosing Ben a second time. She arrived just in time to hear his question and guiltily made a vague gesture with her hands. "Because I set it aflame." @Lunamor
  3. Attayl paused at the question, then went with the truth, interested to see how they would react. Her usual suspicion had vanished and that left her careless, she was probably offering too much information here. "Because he wanted to exercise certain activities at a time when I wasn't comfortable with." She replied and then looked over her shoulder. "My boss lends me to some of his friends and contacts, when he wants to show they are in his favour. But usually in a more protected environment." Her shrug felt a bit forced, but still ahe did, leaned back in her stool, relaxing. "He's grown a bit tense lately. Lots of appointments, more like him." A small gesture towards the guy that was finally, thankfully leaving. "Iexpect he won't be too happy that I'll keep that one waiting." Her voice was almost indifferent, of not for the tension hidden deep inside. She wasn't entirely looking forward to tonight, he would likely make her pay. @Turtle373 @Dr. Dapper
  4. "As you wish. Please inform our forces, if possible I would like to have someone to have my back." She quickly bowed to him and then inhaled stormlight, elsecalled away. Zokora neared the PlasmaCore Building, carrying a white flag in her hand to show that she wanted to talk. She felt bad in the strange fog, in the chaos, wished she could be somewhere else. This was her duty, her job, she had to do it. @Ark1002
  5. Lena threw the bottle and hoped it would work again. @xinoehp512
  6. Lizanne groaned. It was stupid to stay, so unwise. But if they stayed, she couldn't run anyway. Turning around she stepped around the fire. Then she grabbed her net, stepped forward and threw it at Hellbent, hoped that he would tangle himself, or at least to distract him for a short moment. @Ark1002
  7. "I'm Attayl, thanks for asking." She smiled at him, although it was distorted by her scar. "And I used you for cover to evade that filthy guy standing close to the entrance. Sorry to disturb your conversation."
  8. Shout out to @PaleoCrafter He typed, I listened and tried to fill him in on the things people asked while he was typing. Rhapsody helped as well. I really hope we got them right. And here's something from Isaac Brandon allowed us to post. Something like that will end up on the spine of the upcoming Warbreaker edition. It's not 100% final, but close.
  9. He kissed her back and she leaned into the kiss, held him cold. Smiling happily she stepped back, but kept his hands in hers. She loved him so much. "Anybody got an idea to get back home?"
  10. We're the guys standing next to the table and writing the questions and answers down... (no recording allowed thanks to european law)
  11. In case someone missed it. The signing will start at 4:30 pm, not at 6. For Stuttgart, I mean.
  12. Lena waved at Wander, to hurry, to trap the other shade. @Turtle373
  13. Lena cursed. "We need another plan." She told Warden, back at Shez and then laughed. "Take this. I have an idea." She ran to the other side of Alask. "Hey Shez. It's me Lena! Can you step back? I'd really like to hit the other one as well. Just once?" Worth a try. If not, she had a backup idea, albeit a slightly suicidal one. @I think I am here.
  14. Althea inhaled stormlight, checked her reserves. Her spheres were dull, but she still had the bracelets Devaan had given her on Max account. It would have to be enough. She was glowing softly and welcomed the storm inside of her. It urged her to do something, to move and somehow she was relieved that it would end now, that after this fight she would be able to shower. Kneeling down her hand touched the stone. She liked stone. Stone was cold and stubborn. But it wasn't about the stone. It was about the thin sheen of water covering everything about the high moisture in the tunnel. Water. Water was easy because it could remember so much. It remembered vapor and ice, and the last one was what she was aiming at. Gently pushing against the water she turned it to ice beneath Vesuvius feet, to trip him over, to have him fall to the ground. @Gancho Libre
  15. Attayl looked up when she heard someone enter. It was a man she'd never seen before, but he flipped her the right sign and so she straightened, waited for him to sit down. "Hello beauty." He drawled and she grimaced, kept silent. "You've got something for me?" His voice was deep, rasping in his throat. Attayl quietly handed him the package, forced herself to smile at him. She hated it, when she was part of the bargain, but it was neccessary and the part of her that was disgusted had died years ago. Her body was her money, better to use it than to starve or die. But still, she looked at his dirty hair, smelled his unwashed body, hopefully he would wash himself before tonight. "You know when and where?" He asked and Attayl inclined her head, felt trapped by his eyes roaming over her body, as if she was naked. "I will be there." She told him calmly, unworried, mostly because she wasn't really worried right now. It was a job, like everything else. But still there were some rules, and one was to always have someone from her own gang close by. She insisted on that. You never knew when something started to go wrong. She got to her feet, smiled in farewell at the woman and started to leave the room. The man grabbed her wrist, pulled her close and she snatched it back. "You could also pay now." He murmured and she drew herself up. "I've got another appointment here." She told him regally and walked out of the room, leaving enough money on the table to pay for the service. He followed her, and she felt his eyes on her back, while she quickly stepped into another room, one where she had seen some strangers enter earlier. Hopefully they were still there. Hopefully they would play along. It would be easier if she could convince them she was helpless, so she made sure to add a quiver to her voice. "Hello, I apologize, I am late." She greeted them and sat down, then added quietly. "Please play along. I'm gone as soon as that guy left?" Her eyes darted over to a window. If they didn't she would have to take a fast route out. Or deal with him now. She would find a way. @Dr. Dapper @Turtle373
  16. My largest problem with this season is the plot, they character development. The costumes are still great and I enjoy to watch them only because the fights are still well rehearsed and fun to look at. (Not talking about tactics here.) But the costumes are so great. I already decided to do a cosplay and bought some of the fabric.
  17. No, she stopped wearing that motif a while ago. same with Sansa. How her cloths evolved and changed - or Dany. The costumes are brilliant and I hope they have some new, beautiful ones in the last episode. A series with that many great costumes is rare.
  18. Shana held on tightly while he talked. She had been his nightmare. But contrasting Rob's dream at least she wasn't the bad guy here. Relieved that he was alright she lifted her head to his and kissed him softly.
  19. Lizanne continued to back away. Hellbent was attacked by Wil and another guy whose name she'd forgotten. She wasn't sure who would win, and so she continued to move backwards. When she finally was behind a larger piece of rock, she gestured to the others, wordlessly asked which direction to go. Theyneeded to hide, quickly. Once men got their blood running, you never knew when instincts would come through, if they would see them as prey or not. A shadow moved over her face and vanished when she pushedthe memory away again. Not only men. Violence had a tendency to bring out the worst in everybody. Add to that the eye, that was still watching, still staring - a shiver ran over her body. Away. She had to get away. @Silva @kenod @ZincAboutItlizanne continued to
  20. James replied for her and she hid her face against Ben's shoulder, held on to mind. She could hear some of the others arrive as well, knew she should worry how to get out of it, but for now it was enough to stand here and hold him close. "I killed them all in my dream, and you left me." She told him quietly and then slowly relaxed in his embrace.
  21. Shana felt a strange sensation and then there was Ben. "Thank you." She quickly hugged James and then let go of his hands, ran over to Ben, threw her arms around him. "You're alright." She whispered and hugged him tightly. @Lunamor
  22. @I think I am here. @Snipexe
  23. Lizanne nodded, grabbed the curtain Lisa had used to bring it with them and slowly started to move away from the fire. The sitting had helped and her leg protested less when she moved. Her eyes stayed with the monster.
