  1. The ending was a lot better than I expected. Sansa as Queen of the North is about the only thing I really wanted to happen and that happened. I love how she changed, how her costumes changed with her until she is a strong woman and someone I trust to rule wisely. And did you see the sleeves of her dress when she was crowned? That was such a beautiful embroidery, easily one of my favourite dresses of the whole series. All in all I feel like the characters got an ending that fit them, that can or can't make them happy, and that was somewhat important to me. Arya, well she had her one great scene. I'd hoped she would kill Cersei, but alas, she got the Nightking. Afterwards she was useless (again). Bran - never liked him and that didn't change. He's king, or rather lets Tyrion rule. I trust Tyrion to do a good job, so I don't really care about Bran. That's an arc I don't get at all. So all in all I am satisfied. The season was only mediocre, but the ending was, compared to the episodes before, good. The only sad thing is, that now it's over. I really enjoyed the evenings, watching GoT with friends.
  2. Mike nodded in agreement. "I like Guns n roses better as well." "Would that be alright Wes?"
  3. Mike shrugged. "That's a rather strange name?" He said cautiously. "What about Guns n' Roses?" @Sherlock Holmes @Ark1002
  4. Attayl was a bit disappointed that Nerin declined, but extended her hand towards Brillin instead, smiling carefree at him. A part of her knew, that she wasn't acting normal, she'd neven been that open towards a stranger before, but right now she didn't care. She could explain him some dances, and he was rather good looking as well. This was a good day. "It's not too difficult. I'll show you." @I think I am here. ============= The woman nodded, her face a bit softer than before. "We aren't. And you'd better pay us." She grinned violently. "I don't care how much you pay Willet."
  5. Do you have any ideas regarding your character yet? I'd be fine to fill in what is needed in the end.
  6. Zokora held out her hand in greeting. "Zokora An'Inera. It's a pleasure to meet you." She made a guesture towards the spren-like-figure. "They sent that one to meet with me, I am waiting for a general reply if they are open for negotiations right now."
  7. "Of course!" Attayl laughed happily. "Dancing looks so beautiful, I'll gladly help." She took a step back, started to gesture enthusiastically. "There are dances you dance in a group and regularly exchange your partner. Depending on the dance you need at least eight people, sometimes twelve or sixteen are better. Some are in a circle, some in a row." For a moment she paused. "Those where you keep your partner throughout the dance are newer, but they are almost as beautiful." Her thoughts went to the soothing parlor. "Last time I was there, they played that one several times." She gestured for them to stand up, to show him the steps.
  8. Mike looked at his friends. A name? Did that mean they were a real team now? Like the older, more experienced ones were? "Do you have an idea?" He asked them excitedly. @Sherlock Holmes @Turtle373 @I think I am here.
  9. Lizanne shook her head, handed him one of the rags she'd scavenged earlier, gestured towards his arm. She was tired, it was late and the day had been exhausting. At least a part of them had gotten some hours of sleep. She didn't bother to reply, instead she continued to sort through the rubbish for anything he might be able to use. The eye would find her anyway. Hellbent would kill Lisa, return and then kill her aswell. You always killed the weak ones first.
  10. Attayl heard the question and thought about how to phrase her next words. He was asking Nerin and the last thing she wanted was to squeeze herself into a place she didn't belong. They lived in another world, but may for one evening, for a single evening she could join theirs. "I can show you, both of you, if you want to. Before we go there, I mean. I know the dances by heart." She offered finally, smiling at the memory of the ball she'd observed a few days ago. She loved their dresses, they whole atmosphere. They were so beautiful, so carefree. And maybe, one day one of would look up, see her and ask her to join him. Her smile turned dreamy, when she followed that thought, imagined how it would be. A girl was allowed to dream.
  11. She was screwed. Talk to that thing? Hastily Zokora reached for her folder, only to realize that she had no real orders for this situation. Negotiate. A grin lit her face. No orders meant she couldn't screw it up. Lucky her that Lusk never really talked to the Righthand. She could have told him some things, would have probably. But alas he hadn't and so she could solve this her own way. "What are you?" She asked curiously, then figured it wouldn't hurt to state clearly why she was here. "I am here to negotiate. We would like for the violence to stop and hope we can find a solution."
  12. Lizanne noted Aderet stay close by, keeping out of their way. "Pack as much apples and cheese as you can. Bring some of them to Renata as well." She instructed and added a late, "Please." after a short pause. Wilhelm continued to build the trap and so she didn't stop working either, despite the way her leg protested. When he lifted a larger piece of rubble aside she found another stick that could be used as a crutch and after hesitation for a moment she picked it up. Better. Now and then she looked over her shoulder, felt uneasy, as if she was being watched, every movement noted down. "Do you think he will come back? Maybe we should get away now? Hide and then look for Lisa?" @I think I am here.
  13. Mike nodded quickly. "Do you require me to report to anybody else?" He asked, hoping that Mr.Itiah simply would give the information to whoever needed it. "We wanted to go to Alleycity, help those there, see if we can help." Bella was still there, somewhere and he worried about her. Bella was strong, but he at least to explain to her, why he had betrayed her, what had happened.
  14. I'd be interested.
  15. Shana saw their circle dissipate within seconds. Radiants charging into their attackers, others staying closer to her. They needed to train, to fight together. They were a bunch of individuals and that could get them killed. Almost thoughtlessly she killed another Stranger and then let herself fall back, closer to Ben. "Come back! We need to stay together, protect each others back!" She shouted, although it was useless by now. The Strangers were many and while they were wrecking havoc more and more came. A dream it was a dream. They seemed to focus on Jamie but there were so many. Shana centered herself, concentrated, focused. She killed another one, but then another two managed to come close enough that her weapon was useless. Slickening herself she wiggled out of their grip, at least for a short while. The stormlight was there, pulsing ready. She'd only need to grasp it, to hold it, to use it. She cut open the stomach on a woman and felt another hand grab her arm. Use it. Her eyes flicked to Ben, to Rob, to the others. Fight for them, not for herself, not for fun, but for them. Her smile vanished and her face turned earnest when she almost gently placed a hand on the one gripping her arm. It was so easy. For Abrasion she had to concentrate but Division was hers. It was a thought that set him aflame, that ripped his flesh apart until s blackened corpse fell to the ground next to her. Inhaling again she turned to the next enemy, wondered how many there were, how much more were to come. I will fight for them. She repeated for herself and then cut another head of, burnt another one to the bones.
  16. Smiling Attayl headed of to Jeb, payed for the evening and when she told him about Nerin he really handed her a free strong drink. Thanking him she headed back to the others, took the drink with her. She rejoined Brillin and Nerin, and smiled at the newcomer (=Ark's character). Now and then she took a sip and smiled again when it warmed her from the inside. She should visit the parlor more often. Aben was asking about working here, maybe she could do that as well. "I'm really looking forward to the dancing. I rarely have a chance to do that." She stated somewhat loosely, then looked back at Nerin. "What happens if you and the pianist target the same person?" she asked curiously, only belatetly realized, that maybe it was insensitive to ask the question that openly. @ZincAboutIt ================================= The door to the parlor opened again and a man and a woman stepped inside. He was wearing strong shoes, practical cloths, that were ripped in one or two places. A small speck of blood on his trousers hinted at the reason why they were ripped apart. The woman's cloths were fashionable, but also showed signs of recent conflict. Her eyes flicked to the enveloped and she cursed under her breath something that sounded like "too late again". Then a smile touched her lips, but didn't reach up to her eyes. "Good evening. We've got something for you." She pushed another envelope over the table, and gestured towards the one that was already there. "You can give that one to us. It's not relevant." @Dr. Dapper @ZincAboutIt
  17. Zokora looked around and saw a spren walk up to her. For a moment she wondered how she could have missed it earlier, then walked towards it. "Good evening. I've come to talk." Sera hissed next to her head and Zokora gestured at her to keep silent.
  18. "That sounds perfect. So I'll come back to here, after your shift and then we'll go there?" Attayl's voice turned earnest, Nerin was kind to her, she didn't know her and still she was kind for no aparent reason. "And thank you for the drink." @I think I am here. @Sorana @Emperor Stick @Dr. Dapper @Turtle373
  19. “I don’t know, how would your boss feel about that?” Brillin asked, and looked out of the window. “Besides, it’s late.” Attayl paused at his question. She wasn't her bosses own personal servant.- no he was right, she was. "He would be alright, if I don't miss the rest." she replied quietly, looking outside again. She had to leave soon, get to the man. Drowning her beer she set the glass down, suddenly wishing she could stay here, out of their grip, out of their petty little games. Her eyes went to Brillin again, looked him up and down again, appreciated what she saw, but hid it carefully. He seemed to be so free. Jealous she averted her glance again. Her boss would be angry tonight, she'd stayed too long already, spent too much money. Attayl knew how to divert his anger, how to keep him in check, but usually it was easier to not anger him in the first place. "Something stronger, please?" Turning to Nerin she smiled at her, happy that the woman had accepted. "The dance hall is really good and if you're finished in a few hours - I should be finished by then as well. The pianist is alright, although you can hear him stumbling over his notes when he starts to concentrate on his rioting. We could meet there?" Still smiling she wrote the adress down and handed the slip of paper to Brillin. "In case you change your mind." @ZincAboutIt @I think I am here.
  20. "It was my mistake, sir." Mike blurted out. "I was responsible for this, so I should take the blame. Please don't exclude them, I am the one who was in charge, so I should carry the consequences." He'd already spent a year at the hospital, looking for interesting strangers. There was no chance he'd ever advance, he made so many mistakes already. But maybe he could help the others. Hopefully they wouldn't send him into the Alleys a second time.
  21. Mike paused. "He was saved by some friends of his. A Radiant and the other one was able to move really fast. They had to be able to track the motivator we used, as we cut of all other signals coming out of the shed." He thought about the fight. "His eyes change their colour. He can sense an attack and he moves incredibly fast." He sank together when he remembered how his friend lay on the ground. "He can influence your perception, what you see and feel. He's a good fighter as well. An epic. I have no idea regarding his weakness. We were in a dim lit shed, but it didn't seem to change his powers at all. But he used flash bombs and was even stronger afterwards. So light can power him, maybe we would have needed to enclose him in complete darkness?" His voice trailed of. He'd always thought epic powers were like on and off, not stronger and weaker. But if they were stronger and weaker, then it could fit what had happened. Voicing his thoughts he continued. "Or the noise? But why should noise make him stronger? And if it was the noise, why use a flash bomb and not a radio. So maybe it has something to do with light."
  22. "No, nothing." The man smiled politely, waited to see if there were any other questions. =================== Attayl quickly seized him up. He was the perfect victim. But he travelled, maybe she could convince him to tell her something about the world later. Maybe she could - the thought was so large and threatening, that she stopped before even considering it completely. "I could show you around." she offered and looked over the Nerin, asking her silently if she wanted to come along as well. @ZincAboutIt @ZincAboutIt
  23. "Perfect." The man pulled an envelope out of his pocket and placed it on the counter in front of Jeb, pushing it over, but leaving his fingers on it. "That's for you. I advise to keep to the deadlines mentiones."
  24. "Tell me about your travels?" Attayl asked, her smile widening when he smiled back. "If you don't mind that is. I don't want to keep you." Hastily she went on, hoped an explanation could work in her favor and he really told her something. "I never left the city, traveling is expensive and I can't really afford it. But maybe one day I'll do and," A thought crossed her mind. "Have you ever been to Elendel before?"
