Lena touched Alask's arm and gestured towards the rift. "Tell me you've got a good idea. Otherwise I'm in favor to run before it's completely here." She knelt down next to Warder and looked through her bag, searched for a fitting antidote. The woman was sleeping, probably more lightweight than Lena had guessed. Good to know. Carefully counting some drops into a glass full with water she lifted Warder's head on her knees, slapped her on the cheek and put the glass to her lips. "Drink." @I think I am here. @Turtle373

Zokora paused when Storm simply left and then checked Lusk's messages again. She pulled up some charts about the Dark Angels and saw them getting attacked by the red mist. Elsecalling closer she grabbed the survivors and teleported them away, out of its reach for the moment. Hopefully they could attack it without dying immediatly now. @Grey Knight @Ark1002

Althea hit something and stared at Vesuvius head in surprise. She'd never, ever hit something with Brashen before. And his head. Not that she'd aimed for it, but she hit him. She'd managed to hit him. A grim smile spread on her face, and she was about to try the same thing again, when suddenly a fiery axe flew her way and she instinctively teleported out of its way. Vesuvius was rolling over the ground, when she was back, but she had missed an opportunity to hit him. But at least she wasn't lying on the ground again. Kneeling down she pressed her hand on the stone. He was rolling away from them. It took some discussion, but then the spren gave in. The kid rushed Vesuvius again and she paused, she would hit him as well, trap him as well. Lifting her hand she reached out for another stone instead, changed the one above Vesuvius head into a metal spike, falling down towards him.

Shana was about to show Sawyer her room, when James approached her, asked about the prom. She suppressed a laugh and kept back, sat down on the stairs to give him the time to ask her out.

I can clean the rooms, to make up for your kindness, or if you prefer, I can leave right now." Her eyes flicked over to Nerin while she spoke. Jeb was Nerin's boss, his word was law in the parlor. She didn't want for Nerin to end up in trouble because of her. She had offered her a place to sleep and the time to sort herself, if she wanted her to leave now, she could understand. @ZincAboutIt

Attayl looked at her in surprise and then inclined her head, thought about the question carefully. "Yes, this isn't the first time, I've seen such a conflict." She replied thoughtfully. "But everytime so far, the Scarlets have been able to squash the Newcomers easily. This time it's different. Willet hasn't been defeated like before. Never." Falling silent she sipped her tea, thought about the situation again. If she got it wrong, they would all pay for it. "I would side with the Farriers. Ask for a meeting. Ask for protection. See if they heighten their price. They can't let anything happen to the parlor, to those choosing their side in general. That's how it works. You pay one of them, they protect you from their rivals. If they can't fullfil their side of the bargain, it's all useless." Looking up she met Nerin's eye. "If they can't protect you, you have a good reason to go back on your word. It will have som impact, but not as much as it would have, if they kept their side. It's no easy decision. If they fail, there might nobody left to head back to Scarlets, good reason or no good reason."

"Thank you." Attayl replied quietly and took a sip of her tea. It was rare that someone was nice, simply nice and when it ended badly, they stayed nice. She wasn't used to all of these people being so nice to her, waited for someone to demand payment. And yet, Brillin had just brushed it away, Nerin had been surprised that she'd started cleaning. "So the next steps are to decide who you want to pay?" She asked loudly. In her opinion the choice was easy, but maybe someone else saw it differently. The Farriers were stronger. You supported the stronger ones.

Zokora received the coordinates of their troops in and around the city and took a moment to sort through them. Maybe half of them were still occupied with the evacuation, but the others were ready to fight. Some buildings over was PlasmaCore and she looked at it for a moment. A challege. She liked challenges. Any information regarding the defenses of the building itself? She asked Lusk and then turned to Storm. "Lusk sends troops our way, they should be here soon. Then we can take care of the dragons. We can't have them flying around or they will destroy the operation." Actually they were already approaching the building they were hiding on, some heavily armed, others ccasrrying no guns, but she doubted that they would be helpless. Investiture users probably. A shadow caught her eyes and she turned around, saw a man standing there. He was bleeding violently, blood ran out of his neck, over his shoes, pooled on the ground. Guilt choked her, constricted her throat and she stood there, stared at him, knowing nobody else would see him, but her. @I think I am here. @Vargo Seldon

"So, Galvris. What is your plan?" Lena asked him. "Alask is right. None of us is able to evacuate these people by talking to them. I saw some official looking people around the area here earlier, offering a way out for those that wanted. Those that are left, are those that wanted to stay." She was about to add something else, when suddenly the air close to the doof split open. Sick violett light spilled all over the ground and betwee for a moment there was a strip of darkness, a darkness so solid and endless that Lena felt her skin crawl. Slowly she stood up, reached for her bag and saw a claw shove itself out into their plane, behind the claw she could see the outline of a larger body. @I think I am here. @Vargo Seldon @Turtle373

Lizanne carefully put the knife back into her bag and looked at the house pondering. "It's not surprising." She replied and continued to stand there, looking at the small house. "If you could overhear them, how many are there? Did they seem friendly. What crops were growing on the field?" For a moment she felt sorry for her many questions, but they were important, if they wanted to survive that was. She still thought, that the house was their only option, without more water they would be dead in a few days. But a fight? Maybe a fight was preferable, if they died quickly, then they were dead and gone. No slow withering away. They should search for a fight, rush towards it and then all of this was over. @ZincAboutIt

"Thank you." Althea nodded curtly at the boy and then pushed herself of the wall to see what she might do to help. She turned just in time to see Vesuvius headbut Max, heard his bones break, but then he healed and she sagged in relief. Max. She couldn't loose him a second time, not again. Her throat constrcted at the memory, at the feeling of pain and loss and desperation. She would rather die, than have someone kill Max. Vesuvius was turned away from her and she summonend Brashen again. She was careful to swing him in an arc, that Vesuvius hopefully couldn't change so far that he hit her friends, aiming for his general upperbody. @Gancho Libre

Attayl gently reached over and moved his hand away from his skin, where he had pinched himself. "Don't. We can find a solution." She offered, wishing he had never met them. It was their fault, because he had protected them. "You're a good man, this article is wrong. I know how it feels like when people stop looking at you, only at what they think you are. And you're a good man." Her thoughts turned around the problem, looking at it from all sides, without finding a solution. "I'm sorry. You're in that situation because you helped me. I'll try to find a way." Maybe, if she went to the Farriers, joined them, sold herself again. Maybe she could ask for a favour, that they forgot about him. She stared at the table, wished she knew what to do, how to solve the problem. She was useless, nothing more than a whore. Unconciously she pulled her shoulder up, as if to hide between them. A way. There had to be a way.
