  3. Thanks a lot!
  4. I'm in.
  5. I'd like to be able for Althea to 'really' advance to the oath she'd spoken during this era. So we maybe need a solution at least for KR and how they advance. Regarding the timeskip: difficult. I'm part of those that want to play a child of an active character, but then I see no real reason for another skip of 15/16 years. And I know that such a long timeskip will make it really difficult to go on with a character. So I'm fine with both, although I'd like to have at least a few months. EDIT: I would be happy if the new main plot didn't start right away, but if there was some time for rp character development. I have some ideas, but with a mainplot running it's hard to have a character do something else.
  6. Shana looked at her again. "Science, maybe?" She asked then and gestured towards her friends. "Ben, Rob and Edwin, by the way."
  7. Awkwardly Shana laughed. "We're making hot dogs today. But we kinda lost two in the supermarket and now we have to wait for them to come around, so that we can pay and leave." "Do I happen to know you? You seem familiar."
  8. "Hello." Shana waved at her, tried to remember where she had seen her before. Probably at school somewhere. "I'm Shana."
  9. Shana shook her head. "Flid and James are still missing. We need James to drive us back, so we kind of have to wait for them." @Blessing of Potency
  10. Lena ate some dessert as well, looked at Alask. "So we'll wait, until someone shows up?" She asked and grinned at Eve. The girl had a conscience, had tried to tell them to stop. Which was sensible. But sensible wasn't for her. A large giant flamming bird, that was more like her. She had no idea who Tels had asked, but as it probably was a Ghostblood she readied some poisons. You never knew. And she'd never trusted the guilds. @I think I am here.
  11. His Elizandra. Attayl stared at him for a heartbeat, unsure what to make of his words. There had been talk about Jak and Elizandra, even in the gang they had talked about their adventures, about the stories. Some of them could read, and read them out in the evening. His Elizandra. Her mind raced to think of the possibilities, tried to understan,d what he meant with it, and then she simply took his hand, tried to stabilize him a bit. She suspected, that she would have had a hard carrying him somewhere, so ever step he took on his own, was a good step. The skin of his palm was soft and she smiled slightly, then jerked her eyes away from him, set them on the stairs. Up and then one of the rooms there. She walked slowly, careful to give him time to maintain his balance, made sure he had a possibility to grab the handhold when they walked up the stairs. The first door was Nerin's, the second one - she quickly closed it again. Jeb. Thankfully the third door led to an empty room. A thin blanket covered the bed, and the air smelled like dust. Probably this room was only rarely used. She stepped inside and looked around, at the bed, the small table, the closet. sparse, but enough for someone to live here. "You should lie down." She told him, loosend her grip on his hand, to make it easy for him to let go of her, but she kept it for now. Get him settled. And then look after Nerin. The sensible thing to do. Attayl looked him up and down again. He made her heart beat faster, the way he looked at her, how he was so quiet, so controlled. How he had this other side. It was attractive and while Nerin was right, his eyes were great, it was these other details, that made him so alluring. She had always searched for a prince, looked for him among the nobility, but he was here, holding her hand and she wished she could stay with him, leave with him, discover the world together with him. But that was the thing about dreams, they were dreams. Her smile widened when she looked at his face again. It was alright. That she had met him, that she knew, that there was something else in this world, that there were kind people, it was more than she had expected. The rest could easily stay a dream. She made a gesture towards the small table. "I can get you some water, while you settle down, maybe something to eat as well?" She told him and tried to bury everything else beneath a polite smile.
  12. A minecart-like craft. Explosives. Probably explosives. She reached out for it, touched it with her mind, spren, many spren. It didn't see itself as a unit. There was no time to discuss with all of them and she inhaled again, only to have nothing happen. Her spheres, depleted. She still had the bracelet, and so she touched it, streched towards the stormlight trapped in there. She hadn't filled it completely, had relied on her spheres, because she had too few experiences with a metalmind. The stormlight was there and it rushed towards her, as soon as she touched it, her body exploding in light again. Althea whimpered in pain, when the sudden light blinded her, but she still felt the spren, where they were. She reached out for the cart and ripped the veil between the realms open, attempted to teleport it away, somewhere far away into the tunnels, where it couldn't hit them, when it exploded.
  13. Confused she shook her head. What was he talking about? A ship? But she hated water. Which he didn't know. Rob knew, but Rob was somewhere. "That's.... funny?" She smiled to hide her confusion and pulled out her phone, quickly texted the others. We're waiting at the checkout desk. Do you need some help? @Wyndlerunner @Emperor Stick @I think I am here. @whoeverelse isn't with Shana
  14. Shana laughed, grabbed a basket and loaded their groceries in there. Easier to have them there while they waited. "We should stop that." She told him and leaned over a bit, lowered her voice. "You make me happy Ben, incredibly happy. And I don't want you to be uncomfortable, so just tell me, and don't feel bad about telling me. I want to know? Sometimes I'm impulsive and over the top, and I don't know how much you are alright with, and when you're uncomfortable. So please?"
  15. Sorana

    Blood Will Out

I love it! So dark and powerful! It's great!
  16. "I'm sorry." Shana felt awful when he turned a bright red. He was still smiling, but she knew she had made him uncomfortable. Quickly she stepped back, searched for something to talk about while waiting.
  17. Shana smiled when she saw Ben walked towards her, moving slowly and carefully to not drop anything. He looked tired, but despite that he still look glorious. Leaning over she kissed him quickly on the cheek and blushed slightly. They were in a supermarket, not at home. Hopefully Ben wasn't uncomfortable with that. @Lunamor
  18. Althea took hold of the spren, strechted her mind farther and farther and then she exhaled, handed the stormlight out to the spren, felt them change, move closer, together until a solid cage was around Vesuvius. She opened her eyes, tried to see something through her dark glasses and then took them off. Her glow had vanished, left them again in the dim light of the sphere they had been using for light. Go. That's your chance. She gently touched Max shoulder, felt the cloth beneath her fingers and smiled. @I think I am here.
  19. Shana approched the checkout desk and looked around to see who else was there.
  20. Attayl took another sip of her drink, listened to Brillin's reply, how he stuttered about people running away from him. He was wrong and he was right. She sighed and pushed her glass aside, switched to tea. No use to end up vomiting in the corner. "... Perhaps you could?" Attayl jerked out of her thoughts and stared at Nerin, who gestured towards the stairs and then to Brillin. "Yes of course." She replied instinctively and got to her feet, turned to Brillin. Brillin. She looked back at Nerin who'd sat down again, seemed to be exhausted. Her words, probably a lie, but Attayl didn't question them. The place was Nerin's if Nerin decided to lie to her, then it was Nerin's decision. She would look after her as soon as Brillin was settled. If he wanted to. Awkwardly she repeated Nerin's gesture towards the stairs. "Do you want to lie down for a bit?" She asked tentatively. "I can show you a room, Nerin said there is a spare one." If it was anybody else she would have touched their arm, helped them but, it was Brillin. And so she stayed close enough to help, if he needed it, but otherwise kept her distance, tried to show him, that she respected his wishes, that it was fine, if he wanted to go there on his own. Or stay here. @I think I am here.
  21. Lena grinned happily. "They will tell this story for years to come." And she would be a part of it. She had no idea if it would work, but it sounded crazy and dangerous and exciting. Perfect. "So we wait and see if he can find someone, if he can't, we'll try to find a fitting person ourselves." She looked over to Mart. He was still asleep. Which was good. She would never take him closer to the phoenix. That was no place for a child. Humming she put the dessert on the table and placed some spoons and plates next to it. "Help yourself. "
  22. "Yes, thanks." Shana mover closer so that could grab the two packages of crackers, lying on top of the tower.
  23. Attayl gently closed her fingers around Nerin's. "There will be a way for the parlor. If you want to go on. You're not alone in this." She felt uncomfortable with the rest of the conversation and so she pretended, that it didn't happen. Nerin had been flirting with Lance, now with Brillin. And she was right. Where Lance was dangerous, Brillin was polite, but both cared. In Nerin's place she would have flirted as well. Her fingers closed around her glass and she took another sip. Drunk, they were both drunk. The urge to start drinking as well was there, but she pushed it away. Someone had to keep a clear head, in case they returned. It was stupid to even sit down at this table. At the bar, out of their way, that had been better. @ZincAboutIt
  24. Lena looked at Alask. "I'm in if you want to do it." She told him quietly. "Your information, your call." @I think I am here.
