  1. Probably not, I doubt I could get my mom to let me go.
  2. I think a dark wood. Is there any Brandon Sanderson writings we are missing? When you have to think hard to remember that there isn't chasmfiend in the world.
  3. Welcome. Have a cookie. Also, repeat after me. "My life is yours, my breath becomes yours".
  4. Hellbent knew what it was to drown. It had happened before. But never had the water actively tried to drown him. As he panicked, he nearly died. Then he remembered one thing. His gift from death. More then one got a gemheart of teleportation. He used it, teleporting behind Devaan. He then grabbed a metal vile off Devaan's belt, chugged it, and did the same thing Devaan had just done to him. Leeched him of stormlight, leeched him of metals, and leeched his feruchemical stores. They always forget. I'm a leecher to. But even I can't last much longer.
  5. I always assumed it meant it had to be touching the invested object. Like how in the newspaper thing in Bands of Mourning, the leecher touched a gun and it turned off. I actually believe that it was a true story, as it made a mention to Hoid, used a curse from Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell, and the guns blasts resembled descriptions of shades.
  6. As the water went over his head, Hellbent swum up to Devaan. He tapped a huge store of luck, and grabbed at him. He managed to get a bag of spheres, and sucked in some of the stormlight. This would let him survive without breathing. Then he pulled out a knife, one of his last resorts. It flashed, and penetrated the flesh of Devaan. It was aluminum. He then swam to the edge of the dome, and used his shardblade to cut open the wall. The water washed out. Hellbent smiled tiredly. Then it turned into a grimace, pain shooting from his ribs. "Well, then I won't play either."
  7. Hellbent walked in. "I'd like to buy something. I'll pay in Crysts. Something that can cut through investure..." EDIT: Never mind, figured out a solution.
  8. If a leecher touched a metalmind could they get rid of the power? We already know it can affect other magic, as it can stop sharbearers from summoning there sword. If it can't drain metalminds, could it steal feruchemy being used? (say pewter feruchemist taps strength, could a leecher stal that strength?)
  9. Hellbent realized normal attacks were pointless. Pain in his ribs, he knew he had to try and end this or he would die. He used all of his remaining stormlight, and soulcast a huge block of stone out of the air. It fell on Devaan.
  10. Repeat after me- "my life is yours, my breath becomes yours".
  11. Narrator Ark promptly ate a screw, as he had just reread Mistborn: Secret History.
  12. "Oh, I will." He jumped straight from the side, resummoning his shardblade, but as a lance. He plunged it into Devaan's arm.
  13. I made a wiki account. You will never guess the name. I like the idea for a wiki pm. We don't need Voidus's permission. It's a public wiki, and we can just make the PM.
  14. That would be cool, I like the idea.
  15. "Clean it? Then stitch it?"
  16. Well, there goes that theory. I still wonder what cultures could have been started by worldhopping. Say ancient scadrains moved to Sel, this would create an entire new culture! Liek how on Taldain there is a darkside/dayside culture forming. Over time they would become a new combination with the old beliefs, altered by the new worlds beliefs, and how nature works. I wonder if we could ask Brandon a question like that.
  17. Nice theory. One thing: we aren't totally sure it is autonomy on scadrial yet, that is just one of the most widely accepted theories. If it is true, maybe. It could be that humans from Taldain moved to Roshar, and became the inhabitants of the purelake. Or maybe it was ancient scadrains who were Trelagists.
  18. "Not very much, but I'm a fast learner. Plus, if I try, I have a feeling I'll get lucky."
  19. Never mind all previously stated on post. I want a hollow, inch thick glass statue of Hellbent, with the inscription: Hellbent died in battle. He was a strange, mislead man, but he had good intentions. May his soul find peace in the beyond.
  20. Hellbent stood. He grinned. He used a large amount of his stormlight. He soulcast a bronze dome out of the air. "Know we have somewhere to fight." He promptly pulled out a gun from the roughs, and shot Devaan.
