  1. That'd be Oliver.
  2. Action 1: Crack down on the skaa, increasing beatings of any disobedient skaa. Any that show rebellious tendencies will be executed immediately.
  3. I agree about Arrow. I don't think Felicity is the one in the grave. I bet that's someone else. Flash, yeah, it didn't really have too big of a cliff hanger. I mean, there was Wells's decision, but that wasn't enough for me.
  4. Like Jon, one of mine is Chick-fil-a. In any form: ice cream, nuggets, waffle fries, lemonade. All of it.
  5. I'm of the same opinion as Seonid. Unless we get the Anon game approved, in which case, I vote for that one. The Epic weakness game sounds like fun, but I'd prefer it later. I think the AG should always be some kind of celebration(Either as a rerun of the first or in a way that celebrates the players).
  6. I don't mind her getting punished. She probably deserves it. She only uses her power for transportation really, so she's not using it that much. I figure if Frostfire is a key point in winning the battle of the bus, then Vondra's more likely to go easy on her. But I'm willing to take punishment. She is too. She knows what's coming when you mess with Arsey.
  7. She'll tell Arsenal and Vondra that she figured they'd need more help against rogue Epics and that she trusts Frostfire enough. Not that that's likely to mean much, but that's her plan.
  8. Emma heard static crackle from Arsenal's radio about renegade Epics. "Change of plans, Ms. Runes. I believe you are needed on Liberty Street." Emma nodded. She turned and left the building, dreading and anticipating using her powers for the first time in more than a few hours. She leapt out the doors and switched her gravitational pull, flying towards Liberty street. She hurtled at dangerous speeds, not caring much. If anyone got in her way, they'd be sorry. She flew around a corner, seeing a group of soldiers and a familiar face. Emma stopped and went back over to the group of soldiers. "Sorry, guys, but I'm supposed to take Ethan with me to fight some renegade Epics." The guards opened their mouths to protest, but Edgerunner spoke over them. "Ask Arsenal if you need to, but we need to go right now!" She grabbed Ethan's hand and pulled him away, flying towards Liberty Street again. Edgerunner yelled over the wind, "Sorry to grab you like that, but I didn't want to go on my own." Ethan began borrowing her velocity to propel himself like they had done the night before. Emma felt the drag, but tripled her speed quickly. She was already getting used to this. "There are renegade Epics in a school bus on Liberty Street. We're supposed to neutralize them."
  9. I've seen your writing and it's good. And I do like Mistborn E2, just not near as much as the first. It's just not in my top 25 or so books.
  10. Golden Son was quite good. I really liked it a lot! Probably more then SoS(don't shoot me), but then again, I'm not a huge fan of Era 2 Mistborn. It's good and all, but not my favorite.
  11. By doubled actions, you mean "build ____ and ____"?
  12. Merlyn's reasoning, while not that great, at least kinda makes sense. He thinks that if he can bring back Savage, the Immortal will owe him his life. He's making allies, powerful allies. Or at least attempting to. I loved Savage's first scene at the dock, that was awesome! The side characters(Diggle, Laurel, Patty, Joe) didn't get much time in these episodes, but I really liked them overall. Much more than last season's attempt. I understand Oliver's reasoning for not telling Felicity and I'm kinda glad he kept that in the revised timeline. I was really interested to see how they'd work it out, then Barry went and changed it, but now it's back. I don't understand William's mother's need for secrecy from Felicity and Thea, but I can empathize just a bit. She's been keeping her son separate from his father for 9 years. She knows that Oliver won't be the best influence on him(at least past Ollie) and now that she sees that Oliver is different, she still doesn't want to thrust her son into a new world where his mother has been lying to him for his entire life. Ollie is running for mayor and a secret son isn't the best PR for him either. Oliver needs to keep Felicity in the dark if he wants to help his son whatsoever, and he will do that as best he can. He won't like lying to felicity, not one bit, but his son having his father in his life is of utmost importance to him.
  13. Swearing in real life used to bother me a lot, being from Utah County(aka Mormon capital of the world) and not hearing much. Now, in college, it's such a regular occurrence that I just ignore it now. I don't swear though, i try to avoid it. But reading it has been dulled. Locke Lamora's is quite graphic, but I just ignore it for the most part and move on. But I definitely get what you mean. Fixed.
  14. I think storm/storming to myself all the time. I can usually catch it before it slips out my mouth most times.
  15. I love it for the same reason, but even Ruin wasn't necessarily evil, not by my standards. Ati was warped by his Intent and couldn't control it. And like Ruin mentions, everything must end. It's not evil to end, it just is. The closest to an evil person in Mistborn is probably TLR, but even he tried to help in some ways. I don't excuse what he did to his Empire, but he had some good intentions as well.
  16. First read Elantris, Mistborn was second. Mistborn is my favorite. So I prove the Elantris exception again.
  17. QF11 Aftermath: Final Sacrifice AL listened as Locke Tekiel whispered to him, quietly so that no one else could hear. Merad had been leading everyone around by the nose. He had been the one so certain of the cultists, so sure that they had saved Kaloo. What Locke said made sense. The shadows grew long as AL debated his decision. Did he listen to Merad and go after Kaloo for a third time? Or follow Locke’s shadow and turn on Merad himself. He debated as he ate the last vestiges of Merad’s stew. The flavor was . . . interesting, to say the least. Meallin stepped out of the kitchen towards AL. AL saw the knife in his hand and felt his heart sink. The outpost’s owner? No. It couldn’t be. He stood up and began backing away, but he bumped into something solid. “Too late,” it whispered. AL turned slowly and saw Locke grinning from ear to ear, a short knife in his hand as well. “No!” AL turned to run, but another shadowy figure, larger than Locke’s, blocked his path. The man’s skin was a few shades darker than AL’s own. A Jindo. It all began falling in place now for AL. The last cultist then, must be--his thought was interrupted as he was yanked to the ground by Locke. A third man joined them. AL heard the whispered mantra between Locke and his large friend, “Followers prosper. The others remember. We only kill because my family needs the food.” “Liars.” “We only kill because we must.” “Liars.” “We only kill because we fell in with bad company.” “Liars.” “We only kill because it’s heaps of fun!” “Followers!” The last lines were shouted, frightening AL. He struggled against the two men, but could not prevail. His vision began blurring around the edges. Meallin laughed. He had watched the Followers of the Mysteries, the Jeskeri cultists, make their sacrifices every night. Every day, he had provided a means for the traders to kill one another as well. Now, he could join the cultists officially. His knife was the tool for the final step. He sliced his arm as he spoke, “Sule, Dor, accept my sacrifice. My devotion is to you, and to you only.” As he finished speaking, he brought the knife out of his arm and down into AL’s chest. The man looked off to the side as the knife entered his torso. “You!” he exclaimed. “I knew it, Borter. It was you.” Confused, Meallin looked over at Kaloo. The priest shrugged. The others held AL down while Meallin finished the flaying. The sacrifice made, Meallin was now a full member of the Mysteries. His bleeding arm wrapped, Meallin rejoiced. Merad crept down the stairs, followed by Borter. Ratel spun and saw Merad and prepared himself to battle. Kaloo stepped forward, a Priest of Jesker who had investigated the Mysteries for far too long to have kept himself aloof. “You! I knew it all along!” Merad shouted at Kaloo as he rushed to kill him. Ratel stepped in front of Kaloo, removing his hood, revealing his Jindo background. Merad stopped short in his tracks. Another Jindo? Merad had hidden his lineage, but had never thought that Ratel would also be of the same race. The betrayal was made all the more worse because of it. “I’m sorry,” Ratel said. “We saved you for last, but now we have no choice.” Merad stepped back, but the three cultists all followed him. They attempted to force him out the door into a large snowdrift, but Merad’s training kicked in. He began the ChayShan ritual and fought back valiantly. Ratel matched him step for step, block for block, strike for strike. Merad called for Borter to help, but the fool stepped out of the way. “Borter! Are you kayana? Help me out!” Merad called. “Why, yes, yes, I am,” Borter replied. “Kolo kayana.” He moved to the side of the cultists and let them surround Merad. “Might I join you? This all looks like my kind of fun. I can sing for you all.” Locke shrugged. “Kill Merad.” Locke handed over his knife. Borter laughed, the laugh of a man not quite right in the mind. Ratel and Kaloo had finally grabbed Merad and held him down against the ground. Borter took the knife and slashed, but Merad jerked out of the way just in time. The knife hit the ground next to his neck. Ratel sighed. “Hold him. I’ll do it,” Ratel said. Borter took his place and Locke held Merad’s head down. “Sule, you went for Kaloo too many times. For that, I’ll have your heart.” Ratel lunged, stabbing right between Merad’s ribs. He cut around the final sacrifice’s heart and pulled it out. “This is mine. Kolo?” Ratel tucked the heart in his cloak as a memento. One piece closer. “Borter, Meallin, welcome to our ranks,” Locke said. “As soon as this winter passes, we’ll continue on our way and fulfill Jesker’s will.” They all grinned and sat around the table, eating one more meal of stew as the snow began to melt just the slightest bit. AL(Elkanah) was killed! He was a Regular Trader! Meta was lynched, but didn’t die! He was then sacrificed! The Followers of the Mysteries win! 18. I'm like Delightful. I'm tentatively on Cap's side, but just slightly. I see both sides and I'm not sure exactly where I'd fight, but I'm currently swinging just a bit towards Cap. Wilson's argument though, is exactly what is keeping me from completely siding with Steve. After the movie, I'll decide for sure.
