  2. LG20: Warcamp Enigmas You are all members of the Alethi lighteyed nobility in the warcamps. Many of you have secret items in your possession. There are a few of you who are hiding other secrets. Whether you use those for good or evil is up to you. You have been infiltrated by some nefarious Ghostbloods who are attempting to steal a soulcaster and a shardblade from you. Killing them all before they obtain those is the only way to succeed. There is also a thief in your midst, though he may end up helping you. Format: This is a rerun of LG5, the first game I GMd. Each Day turn will be 48 hours and each Night turn will be 24 hours long. Rollover time will be 9 pm MST. Signups will end on April 22nd. There is a 5 turn inactivity filter; after five turns of inactivity, inactive players will be killed. General Rules: Every player gets up to three actions per night. Only one item from each tier category may be used per cycle. One 1A, one 1D, and one Tier 2 item is the most that can be used. Any action can be replaced with the Ghostblood kill or a role ability/declaring an heir. Items: Other roles: Item Rules: Death Cries: When a player is killed in any way, they get a chance to send one last message to the group as a whole. The messages must be less than 200 characters and sent to the GM to be posted to the rest of the group. The dead player will not be sent to the dead doc before the end of the turn following their death or until their death cry is sent in. It must be sent in before the end of the turn following the player’s death. Except for this, the dead may not speak. Win conditions: Ghostbloods’ Win: Outnumber the other players Bonus goal: Obtain a Shardblade and Soulcaster. Nobles’ Win: Kill all Ghostbloods Bonus goal: Survive until the end and the player with the most/most valuable items will be made king and the other survivors will be made Highprinces/Highprincesses. Thief's Win: Steal at least one of each item(excluding Shards and a Soulcaster) throughout the course of the game to become a master thief and live a life of luxury. 3. Congratulations Hael! From me, I give you permission to use the title of Odium as well as the survival instincts of Maw and my information gathering abilities. May they serve you well. Good luck, champion.
  4. Does four extra years hurt? I mean, hockey was his combat experience before joining, so I don't know what agency sends out a new recruit from a minor league hockey team to assassinate people. He might have potential, but that doesn't mean he can skip training.
  5. Except that I doubt the CIA sends new recruits on assassination missions. I'd bet that takes at least 4 years of regular work before you get that far. At that point, I'd think he'd need 4 years of that kind of training to be anywhere near the skill level you have him at. One thing to note is that the Dalles is quite a small town with a population of 15,000 right now. That might have gone a bit up due to people flocking there, but it's not a large city at all. Why an ex-CIA agent would go to a small town in northern Oregon to get back to Sweden doesn't make much sense to me.
  6. I'm still on the idea that he should be at least 32-35, along with Kobold's concerns about power.
  7. I have a few questions about Ansgar. First, he hates government, but worked for the CIA? If he wasn't good at hockey, how did that help him with hand to hand combat? I also don't really see how hockey skills would translate to hand to hand. He's also a bit young to have, within 5 years, joined a minor league hockey team, quit, joined the CIA, quit, and then also start a private firm.
  8. Lightwards swept his eyes over Chi's assembled army, his expression almost a mix of awe and covetousness. The necromancer stepped forward and spoke softly, but powerfully. "I do not wish to fight where fighting is not necessary. And I believe you do not either." Chi nodded slightly. He didn't want to fight, but he was prepared to, willing to fight, to die, if necessary. As Lightwards gloated about claiming "Emperor", he forced two of his beasts, horribly brought back from their peaceful deaths beyond, to bow to him in an excessive display. What good were these dinosaurs if one only used them as tools? Slowly, anger began to fill his heart as he saw Lightwards control his warriors; animals should be free, only taking guidance, not commands. Chimera's anger was pierced by Lightwards' next words. "The opportunity to reshape the world in your image? Follow me, swear to me your aid, and all this world will be like a zoo to you," he said. That had been Chi's goal: to reshape the earth for the better. His mind began to war with itself over this "emperor's" suggestion. The man was cruel to his beasts and thought Chi wanted a zoo to keep all his animals in captivity. But, he also would give Chimera the chance to help rebuild the world. "What of the humans out there?" Chi asked. This question would be the point upon which his long-held neutrality would hinge.
  9. 29 wealth.
  10. 27 wealth.
  11. I've just been organizing my PMs from previous games, and when I got to LG5, the first I ever GMd, I realized how grateful I am that we no longer send new PMs for actions every single cycle. That was a pain.
  12. Ah, okay. Kobold and I worked something out that I think we both like.
  13. I'm not too displeased. Max/Electro post up, in which Max realizes some of the folly of his ways and Electro kills again.
