  1. Actually, at a signing, Brandon corrected the assumed correct table a member showed him. He switched the gravity and pressure surges, among other things, so that Skybreakers and Windrunners share gravity.
  2. "Sloppy", haha. that's way better than anything I could do. those are awesome! Keep it up.
  3. Um, first off, for some reason you accidentally made four topics. On the topic, Compund speed so much that just you breathing causes you to blur. Pull a (putting this in spoilers because it affects a character from TWoK) and store so much mental speed that people think you're a complacent idiot, then when they least expect it, Tap all that mental speed and conquer them. This second one isn't really for combat and neither of these are all that clever just fun ways to use it. Oh, one that actually works. Compound insane amounts of Luck and just toss tons of arrows at your enemy.
  4. Why, thank you, Brightness. It's not graphically the best but it has completely correct Alethi, so I'm happy about that. (Actually, there's one possible error but Mi'ch is checking it out for me.) Edit: Never mind, it has been resolved. The gif is correct.
  5. I'm thinking Darkeyed spearmen, previously from the most awful bridge crew, now protecting Brightness Feather.
  6. Ok, looks like I need a serious post. So I love the Stotmlight Archive because of many reasons. The characters and their development, what they do for others, AMAZING world building, the intense magic system, length, art, cosmere implications, and discussing anything and everything about it here. I mean, what's not to love about it?
  7. *crosses arms at wrists in return* Glad to have you join the ranks, Soldier Natans.
  8. Kaladin stormin' Stormblessed! And what he does for Bridge Four and his fighting. Plus Dalinar "Blackthorn" Kholin.
  9. Ok, is there anything specific you think needs to be there?
  10. So about the Marabethia and Arriev articles, I see that Marabethia is now marked as complete but is there a reason why Arriev is not?
  11. Oh, okay. I didn't really believe that anyway, it just popped in my head as I read that. Sorry for the confusion.
  12. In the quote Meg cited above, it says Odium left behind some power and that to a large extent, those remnants are now mindless. I'm not so sure about this, but could it be that the mindless spren are of Odium??
  13. I think Ati and Leras were probably friends originally and maybe the same for Devotion and Dominion's holders.
  14. Yeah, I'm agreeing with Weiry and Shardlet here; Adolin.
  15. The Eleventh Herald, Darnamanrad!
  16. Oh ok. I was hoping we could squeeze a couple more out of him. I know. But I want a canon name if there is one.
  17. If you are able to take enough time, I think you should take a copy of the surgebinding table and see if we can't get some of the last three orders or that last surge. One question that for some reason, I've always been interested in is a name for a full Feruchemist Mistborn combination. Feel free to not ask this if you get better ideas, though. It's really not all that important.
  18. I always thought each Shard had a preassigned(for lack of a better word) number that was special to it. Honor's was 10 and Preservation's 16.
  19. I'm okay with Gaz turning around and becoming a KR, as long as Sadeas doesn't (man, I detest that guy!), but I don't think I have to worry too much about him following divine attributes.
  20. Woah, a variation on my theory, which was a variation of Argent's theory? Theoryception.
  21. Thanks, Shardlet! Argent, I think the quote is ambiguous enough that it is not a stretch to correlate the storms with a Shard's power. I don't see the relationship between the words Stormfather and Heralds, but even if it is, it could be errors passed down through generations or just ignorance. No Vorin society would say that a woman rules the storms, the men rule in their culture.
  22. There's a quote from an interview somewhat recently, that for the life of me, I cannot find. (So if someone better at searching for those would like to link it here, that'd be great.) Anyway, the quote says that the highstorms are the same as mist is to Preservation. I saw discussion on the storms being Honor's body, but I would like to present a new theory. Theory: The highstorms are Cultivation's body. In TWoK, when Kal is walking to the Honor Chasm to jump off, he remarks about how his father told him that plants watered with stormwater grew much better than plants from riverwater. I think this is because the storm is of Cultivation and therefore cultivates those plants. Thoughts?
  23. I didn't mean a savant. In TFE, after the Kredik Shaw attack, Vin is bedridden and either Sazed or Kelsier remarks that luckily, she is able to burn pewter while unconscious. She was not a pewter-savant though.
  24. The Shard Odium would take a while to influence Rayse's actions. I think both Tanavast and Rayse could've been in love with Cultivation's holder before they took up the shards.
