Ok, I just have one question for the people who think Renarin will turn into an antihero. Are you talking about the same Renarin Kholin as I remember?? Hey Doc, how do feel that your one comment sparked two and a half pages of debate? I'm actually for the idea that Adolin becomes an antihero, or at least jealous and more evil than he is currently, because of Renarin getting Surgebinding powers and Plate when Adolin himself just has Shards. Alaxel, you're so right. I hope A Strange Mix of Both becomes canon, well the idea behind it at least.

@Feather's & Ellie's reponses to the antihero Renarin, all I have to say is: Hear, Hear! That was AMAZING!! Beautiful!

Hey, Argent? The attributes associated with Chach and the Dustbringers are Brave/Obedient. Confident is an attribute of Nalan's Order.

Well, if there's no journey, it can't be put before destination. Alaxel, those are quite good points, I think I'll have to agree with you on that one. I so hope it isn't Dalinar. (I hope you don't mind that I'm now espousing that in my sig ) And thanks, WeiryWriter, for the clarification on the pages. I hope it gets to be the same length as TWoK.

Renarin will become a Skybreaker. If Adolin becomes a KR, he will be a Dustbringer.

True, 4 of 6 is also iffy. I don't know, I feel that Adolin shouldn't become one(partly because he's my least favorite Kholin) because it is already stretching plausibility. I also think it could add a new direction for his character. How would he react when he's all of a sudden the weaker brother? If Renarin gets Shardplate and Surgebinding abilities, Adolin might not react well to that. Edit: Also, I don't know if I'm behind on news but I just saw on my Kindle that WoR will only be 864 kindle pages opposed to WoK's 1009. That is 150 pages difference!

I just don't think the Kholins need 5 out of 6 members to be Surgebinders. I think that's really stretching statistics.

I very much agree. My statement above was only if Adolin will become a KR, I think he'll be a Dustbringer. But I really hope he doesn't become one at all.

I'm thinking Skybreaker for Renarin, because I like the theory that Feather shared of Emma's that a potential Radiant exemplifies one of the attributes and has to grow in the other one. He is very much just and is learning to be confident. I think, if anyone were to become a Dustbringer, along those same lines, I think it would be Adolin, because he is brave but needs to work on the Obedience aspect.

Oh, that's interesting, Bartbug. I was thinking that it meant Renarin was bonded to a spren so no one else saw it, just like no one sees Shallan's or Elhokar's Cryptics and Syl. But your interpretation would make it even more interesting.

@Greywatch Not really, we really have no idea what order of KR Renarin will belong to, but in the thread I linked to above, Feather comments that it is possible and theorized that he is a Skybreaker. I personally really like that idea. That would put Renarin at Order 2 and Shallan at 6. So they wouldn't share a surge, I just think that their individual powers being developed could be an even greater reason I ship them.

So, now that we have confirmation that Renarin sees a spren, how cool would it be to see Shallan and Renarin develop their Surgebinding together?

No freaking way! That's awesome! I may just espouse that as well! I wonder what kind of spren that is. Aren't most, If not all, spren that are bonded invisible to others (except for Rock)?

But most people dismiss Bronze and Copper as the weakest metals and only use them for their base purpose. I think Darnam's idea is very interesting.
-
Oh, ok. Thanks!
-
That is the correct idea, Darnam. And Kurk, that's not what I believe, just my opinion on what Pech said. If what he said was true, then I think it is very hard. Personally, I think there must be some way to Seek from inside a Coppercloud.

Does the forum clock not use DST? Because now that it's ended, the times are all off. Its not that big of a deal I just noticed it.

Sell, I don't think the Kholins need more Surgebinders. He is confident, but I'm not as sure on the just part. Dalinar will be a Stoneward.

With the update yesterday, there now isn't an up/downvote button on any post on the mobile site.
-
Yes, that's what I was saying. Because Pechvarry shared his thoughts that maybe the two are related, I think that if they are, maybe they're both possible but difficult.
-
I meant that, if as Pech says, if you can block emotional Allomancy from others in the cloud, you can smother the people in the cloud's Seeking abilities too, that it would be very difficult as we have WoB that blocking Emotional Allomancy for everyone in the cloud is very hard. Does that make sense?
-
But, though it's possible to block emotional Allomancy for everyone in your cloud, it's very difficult and takes a lot of practice. So blocking Seeking would be the same.
-
That might actually work. If we believe, and I do, that regular Seekers can't pierce regular Copperclouds but Hemalurgically-enhanced bronze allows you too, then the Inquisitors are the only real option I've heard so far. Except for the fact that Inquisitors aren't common and there are many Soothing stations around the city.

Just a side note, yes, Shallarin is the Shallan+Renarin pairup. Sorry, I shouldve made that clear
