I have to say, I just thought of this, I don't think Dalinar has the Surface Tension surge, or at least will not learn to use it in WoR. My reasoning for this is that when asked about the Surgebinding table, Brandon was always hesitant about that surge and said that that wasn't the real name, he still hadn't figured that out yet. So if Dalinar is the Bondsmith, he either doesn't have that surge or doesn't learn how to use it specifically.

Exactly because he has amazing skills is why I don't think he should be a KR. He is good enough without it, while Renarin might not ever feel worth anything without it.

I agree with Windy here. I have stated elsewhere that I hope Adolin doesn't get any powers either. There's just too many Surgebinding Kholins.

True that Argent. My biggest issue was the sped up pacing but that's somewhat understandable. It's hard to put 6 years of training in a 2.5 hour film. It was weird how Bonzo was a lot shorter than Ender. -

I am too, I think Hoid is the obvious answer, but not necessarily correct. I think it is someone who is permanently on Roshar. Yes, I could see any of the four above being a potential destroyer(albeit with some drastic personality changes). Any have the power, Szeth could, Shallan has a dark side, Kal and Dalinar have the potential, but not the personality.
