  1. Okay. I am a zinc ferring and I tapped tonight. I have been told that Alron is targeting me for death. If he dies, then I am the kandra. Lunch me if that happens. If not, lynch him. Sorry Wilson for not being able to use the code. Use the spike if you see this. I think I'm going to die or at least be taken over. Edit: If I die, then it is Alron for sure. If Alron dies, it could be me, but he has been online and may have changed the order. Watch me closely and I won't be offended if you lynch me. In fact I encourage it. But don't focus only on me.
  2. Here is Edgerunner's bio. Edge dancer, you should like this. Edit: I picture her as a Catwoman mixed with a powered down Edgedancer and Windrunner.
  3. Voidus, are you still adding your ideas to that google Doc?
  4. I'll come up with that bio soon then. I'm thinking the natural frequency one will be an Epic trying to come take over. Being able to whistle at a frequency that can break objects makes one pretty arrogant.
  5. The first part of yours is correct. That's the one I was thinking of. Dropping the killed players is what I was planning. Let me decode that. I'll edit this later with a response. Okay. We aren't using the same one for the numbers. I can't figure that out.
  6. This begins tomorrow!
  7. I like these cool humans characters a lot! Kobold, what exactly does Vondra use the Epics for? I'm thinking that the climbing Epic I mentioned earlier could work for him. I'm picturing him/her as an assassin/spy kind of person. We could do that. We could also just have you jump to Timeport seeing them come in. There's not much else to happen in walking in.
  8. Very true. Tulir, I like them.
  9. Really? I tried to come up with something original.
  10. Max's post is up. I'd say mail-Mi is up next, but Joe could go too. I'm excited to be expanding.
  11. Max listened as Gordon agreed to take him to the Reckoners. As Gordon went to go grab some files, Kyle led Max outside. He showed Max what could only be described exactly as Gordon had: a War Wagon. It was a large van covered in armored plates. There were no windows, but Max saw small cameras around the entire van. Kyle started up a motorbike that seemed to be, in fact it probably was, made for him exactly. It had two large automatic guns on the front and Max saw gravitonics as well. He whistled his appreciation. Kyle tossed something at him and Max caught it. He looked at his hand and saw that Kyle had thrown him keys. "No way," Max said. Kyle nodded and a huge grin split Max's face. He jumped into the War Wagon and started it up. He saw that there were monitors where the windshield should've been that displayed the view from the cameras. He had a full 360 view without having to turn his head. Gordon came out of the church as Max heard small explosions go off inside. Gordon three some files in the back seat and then hopped in the van. “Alright then, Drive us to the Powell’s. But first put this on. And this," Gordon said. He handed Max an earpiece and a loop of what looked like cat hair. “Kyle also has an Earpiece, If he remembered to grab it, we’ll be able to talk to him on the way over. Now, I need to make a call," Gordon continued. "Woah, why do I need this?" Max said, holding up the hair bracelet. He had popped the earpiece in, but he didn't know why he would need a rusting cat hair bracelet. As Gordon pulled out his mobile, he responded, "Let's just say it may protect you." Max realized it probably had something to do with some Epic. Gordon would know more than he did about that type of thing. He tied it on and then began to pull out behind Kyle when Gordon said, "Alright then. There may be a problem there. Let’s see how many Speed limits you can break on your way there.” Max grinned. A decked out van and a plan to speed? This day got better and better. He floored it and the van lurched back as it picked up speed. As Max drove, he realized that there were some gravitonics on the War Wagon as well. When he sped around corners, they kept the van upright. Kyle took them to the airport. Max had never been to the airport before. He hadn't ever flown before Calamity, and since then, no one was able to. He had thought the airport was deserted, used by Epics only for raids. Apparently not so. He parked the van and hopped out, following Gordon inside. He kept a hand on his pistol. He wasn't going to go into an abandoned airport carelessly. He hadn't survived so long with Epics by being careless and he wasn't going to start now.
  12. I have three simple character ideas. Tell me your opinions. 1. Can climb any surface. Basically friction manipulation. Can climb walls and ceilings. 2. Instinctively knows and can produce with whistles the natural frequency of any object, causing resonance. 3. Can create an avatar for himself, which copies motions. It is completely tangible. I probably won't use all three of these, but the natural frequency one and probably the climber I will be using.
  13. I really like these guys. Good job! They seem to have too many powers in my opinion, but the new limitations balance that out pretty good. Is Ranger based off of Ranger's Apprentice? I'm all for the Dalles thread. I'll have to do some research on it, but I'd love to join in there. That would mean more characters for me, but the. Ore the merrier! And I have the feeling a couple of my current characters are going to be dead soon.
  14. Why would I be angry? But maybe one of these is better?
  15. Use the original player list from this game instead.
  16. Sorry. I forgot that my first vote had to be greened out too to count... Sorry, Tulir. Wilson, one of my last posts in the cycle where Bart put the game on hiatus mentions the code. You should be able to get it.
  17. Yes, there are. Whited out aon meanings.
  18. These never got answered, so I'm just posting since the first one at least needs to be answered. Thanks! Woah, pretty scary. Altermind, when he finds out about Streetwise, is going to want him dead. He just knows too much. Storm it, Quota! You have conquered me for now, but it shall not last!
  19. Very much so. Good thing she didn't hear about Nighthound yet or she'd be even more vehemently protesting that faction. I actually based their scene off of a lot of small things in here. There was a cereal box, from the Cocoa Puffs scenes, and the creepy guy, from when we talked about Nighthound at a grocery store getting the cops called on him. Well, Smoky's a bit of an attention hog.
  20. Did they already teleport away? If not, when you do have them do so, just have them pop right in the meeting. Altermind will love to have another interruption. And then there's Smoky and Summoner. He's going to be so frustrated. Yes we do. It should be fun. electro and Upgrade. I am excited for this plan to be fully revealed. When should we get to this meeting? There's not much to do in Thoughttown, but in the MoNA, you guys have a lot of new people to talk to. I feel bad for Thoughttown's Epics because they want to keep Portland around an intact. But our goal is the destruction, so they're fighting a losing battle. I do hope that at least a couple of them will be able to survive and maybe keep a small part of the city safe. Speaking of Thoughttown, does anyone want to go next there? We need something to do while the Empire has their chats. You should've seen the grin on my face when I read that Max got to drive the War Wagon. He'd love Normality even more, but the War Wagon is stil awesome. Oh, no that's totally okay. Things like that are no big deal. I'll get to Max tomorrow. He's going to ask though, what the Calamity is with cat hair bracelets? The Unicyclist was awesome. And I loved Funtimes's viewpoint! Thanks! Any ideas for an icon for Summoner? And, by the way, I'm going to include at least one small WoK cameo in each of his posts. I don't know how often I'll write his Pov, but when I do, it'll be there. Edit: Well, if Summoner is there, which is most likely, then yes. Unless Smoky stops him. Wow. This is a long post.
  21. Summoner drew his sword out of the man's neck as he dropped to the ground. He hated that feeling. The feeling one got when he killed some other human being. It was almost a Thrill. He had been experiencing this feeling more and more lately. Summoner only killed those who deserved it though. This man had accosted Smoky. While Summoner had gone to get the box of cereal they had forgotten, the man had come up to Smoky as she had begun walking out. Summoner had come out of the aisle to see a sleazy man put his arm around her shoulder and whisper in her ear. She had turned and slapped him immediately. Summoner began the process of summoning his sword from the Other. He had ran over the the man and Smoky, knowing his plan, conjured up her smoke in front of the man's eyes. Summoner's blade had appeared in his hand and he rammed it through the creep's neck. Smoky dissipated the smoke and the man dropped to the ground. "Thank you so much, honey," Smoky smiled and said to him as she reached up and kissed Summoner on the cheek. "He was a creepy one. And inappropriate too!" She asserted. "I know, darling," Summoner said as he linked his arm through hers and began walking out of the store. He dismissed his blade and it disappeared as it formed into mist. Summoner had first claimed a very nice sports car as one of his first acts as an Epic. A Dodge Viper. The Epic couple made their way to the car. "Smoky, babe, have you heard about these Epics taking sides?" He knew she had. Everyone had; she liked it when he asked her things first though. She nodded and he continued, "Have you thought about what we're going to do? We aren't the biggest, baddest Epics out there and I think we need to choose a side." Summoner said. Smoky looked at him as she replied, "Dally," she began, using his nickname from before Calamity. She was the only person he allowed to do that. "CorpseMaker scares me. He's brutal and cruel." Summoner nodded and she continued, "I don't trust the new Empire we heard about. A necromancer is creepy and his matter manipulator sounds like she would try to steal the attention from me. I think the Thoughttown group is the best for us, hon." Summoner nodded. He had come to the same conclusion and was glad she agreed. "I agree. Altermind is the one who seems most likely to keep this city together. Should we go now?" He asked. She smiled and kissed him in agreement. He started the car, revving the engine, and headed for Thoughttown.
  22. Well he person with my most actual suspicion is Willa and not Tulir. I set up a code for the spiking and she never confirmed it and has gone inactive.
  23. You're absolutely correct. He realizes her use, but would not be able to work with her. That's why he likes this situation. He doesn't have to directly work with her too often. Lightwards, for now, is at least sane usually. He's not taking anyone. He is reporting to Altermind, and he can teleport into the meeting, and is telling them of the planned meeting at the Sadry's house after sunset.
  24. Well Altermind won't fight with Lightwards unless it's the only way to kill Corpsemaker. Edit: Dang. I hoped it had been some amazing foreshadowing.
  25. I do that too. I very much itch to fix it all. It is really weird. Even if Theory didn't plan that, which I don't think he did, it's just funny that he chose the name of one of the major characters.
