  1. Come now. It's not even as long as TFE. (Yet.) Well, Joe's already summed up Toymaker above so I won't do it again.
  2. So then, it must've been Cultivation. Dominion can only change someone else's vote and Peng's vote wasn't changed.
  3. So, it looks like Cultivation used her special vote then. Joe, you said Shards that invest at night count as having Invested the night before. Does that mean Cultivation invested in someone else or that she just counts as invested?
  4. Have you read all of Portland? Toymaker's already shown up. But those are good questions.
  5. Killing good people is going to happen, regardless of what we plan. At some point, we will kill an innocent. This way, like Eol and Meta have said repeatedly, it convinces the OCs to speak up and makes it easier to judge people for their alignment. There have been multiple times when Eliminators have hid in the Inactives list. This way, it not only makes it easier to catch OCs, but it promotes discussion in general which is always good. The world freezing idea is a good one, it's just that the less populated planets will be more easily manipulated if there is an OC on that planet. The Unmade could also throw a wrench into this plan if they destroy one of the groups. Overall, I think the plan is good though, since the planet decisions were made before roles were distributed.
  6. Wow. Hardly any actual RP talk today. The Triumvirate of Terror's atrocities must continue. Electro's ready for whoever to go next. Connell's also ready for someone.
  7. Probably because he's too bent on killing dictator and emperor Epics.
  8. Okay, wow, you guys have been busy. A 5 page Day 1? Impressive. About Aonar's plan, I like the concept and idea, but I think it revolves too much on chance. It depends on all the Shards agreeing(which, from the opposition the plan has received, I think is unlikely), Ruin's choice of Investee, finding Odium, and Odium's Investee's kill. If Ruin chooses an of to invest in, we're in trouble or if Odium's Investee kills Ruin's Investee. I think the big thing now is for Cultivation and Endowment to figure each other out, which is hard, I understand, but will help progress things much quicker. Meta's plan for Ruin killing Inactives not only keeps our lynch focused on active players, but possibly eliminates an inactive OC and allows Ruin to Invest in another which allows the role block.
  9. Well, the only killers in this game are Odium and his Investee. Yes, there's the bloodsealer and poisoner, but those are much more limited kills.
  10. Any of my guys are good to go. Flashpoint and Mare maybe? Or some/all of Intervention, Smoky, and Summoner? Okay, that sounds good to me then. While that's a really cool idea, it's a mental thing, I think. It gives them the feeling of being drunk and so they slow down and they get angry easier, etc. But there would be no hangover or alcohol poisoning or even bad breath.
  11. I have to agree this game. Lynching a shard would be an awful way to start the game off and this time, we have absolutely no information to even begin trying to base a lynch off of. For now, I think discussing different tactics to limit the Spiked Champions and Odium(we really need a better word for this) is the best idea this cycle. I like Meta's plan for killing off the inactives. It would take away a lot of the paranoia and worry about there being an inactive Champion like what happened in the AG. It ended up being a pointless search, since not one inactive was spiked that game.
  12. Sorry about that, Fatebreaker! That's no fun at all. Congrats on the new job and welcome back! If you want to have any of my Thoughttown characters take them on, just let me know. They're all heading back now, so we could work it out. There's always Voidgaze and Sightline too. And Pan and Strongsteel, but they aren't very offensive fighters.
  13. One look at her dress should be all he needs. Crap! You're right. I totally forgot. XD. Twi, how high up are they? Do you think we could retcon some stairs or something?
  14. I just posted Altermind's final meeting post. I'll try to get a post up tonight or tomorrow with Flashpoint and Mare's POVs about arriving at Thoughttown and beginning to fight the MEE.
  15. Altermind ignored the Trattner girl completely, leaving her to watch her mother weep on the floor. The illusion wouldn't last long, just until they left the house. Funtimes agreed to his request quickly. Altermind had been worried, her attitudes toward others seemed fickle. They changed often and without warning. Lightwards cut in, "Thank you, Altermind, for your aid to the Empire you will be lavishly rewarded when the rest of this state comes under my control." Altermind knew that the necromancer was too smart to actually let Altermind live. Neither would leave the other alive after the war with Corpsemaker. "Are there any other points on the agenda to consider? I have a fortress to close down for the night," Lightwards finished. Altermind opened his mouth to answer, but Funtimes stole the words right out of his mouth. Well, not the exact words, but they had the same meaning nonetheless. "Noperoonies! No more businessy-business stuff.” Altermind grinned at her slight slur. Intervention was quite handy. A short auditory hallucination told Intervention to reign in Funtimes's intoxication. Her slur lessened a bit afterwards. “We got a fortress thingy up there, and I gotta get home an’ think ‘bout what you want for colors and stuff.” Colors? Altermind cringed behind his illusion. Knowing her, she'd likely decorate HQ all the different colors of the rainbow and make it rain glitter. She giggled, leaning toward Altermind, and pointed toward Lightwards, whispering. “He reminds me of someone. Betcha can’t guess who.” Altermind was confused. This lady had been difficult enough sober, drunk Funtimes was even worse. Before he answered, he had Intervention lessen the drunkenness even more. She cut him off yet again. “Great Noodly One, it feels like this meeting thingy’s gone on for-eh-ver!” Noodly One? She's insane even sober. More so than I thought. Her boyfriend, Traveler stood and agreed. “It feels like years! Days! Months, even!” Hyperbolic complaints were apparently a forte for her. Altermind couldn't say he disagreed though. The meeting had drug on quite a bit. “Like, two months, sixteen days, seven hours, and forty minutes or so.” Specific hyperbolic complaints. Funtimes was precise, if not wholly sane. “Not my fault the meeting was soooooo loooooonnnnnng.” Altermind finally cut in before it could go on longer. "My apologies, Doctor. I didn't mean for this to take this much time." He stood to leave. "Doctor, I'll-" His mobile buzzed. It was from the Southeastern gate captain in Thoughttown. Altermind read the message quickly, annoyed at the interruption. His annoyance changed to frustration and then anger. "Doctor, Milady, Prof," he said, nodding at each one. "Something's come up in Thoughttown. We're under attack. Epics are assaulting the borders, but they aren't affiliated with Corpsemaker." Altermind wondered who they were. "Flashpoint." His lieutenant snapped to attention. "Take Forrest and Wade and get back to Thoughttown as quick as possible. Repel the attackers. If you can keep any for questioning, do it, but otherwise, remove them. I'll be there as soon as I can." Flashpoint saluted and took the two guards with him out the door. "Sightline, Mare. You two head back as well. Take all but two of the guards. The rest of us will come shortly." Sightline teleported out the door and Mare left on a shadow horse. Turning back to the Empire's Epics, Altermind said, "My apologies for this rude and abrupt departure, but my home is under attack. I'm sure you understand. Doctor, I'll see you in the morning." Altermind walked out the door, followed by the three other Epics from Thoughttown. Smoky and Summoner sped off in their Viper and Altermind and Intervention flanked them, followed by the last two guards. An obvious convoy of Epics like this cause regular humans to stay out of the way and to clear the roads. Altermind was able to speed back to Thoughttown without any obstructions.
  16. No, I've begun a post to finish up the Thoughttown side of it. I'll finish it today. I agree with the static force field
  17. Well, if that adds you to his list, most of us should be on there. You haven't read Portland yet, but Nighthound is awful and recently, Quota, Timeport, and Electro are making it up the list too. Electro actually had a Joker-esque scene. Similar to the Ferry scene, only slightly different. There's also a scene from Max that was made to emulate one from the Avengers. (The old man in Germany.) Nothing's wrong with Funtimes making good soup. I'd eat any soup she made.
  18. Thanks guys! I was quite proud of them, but I do understand Hero's point of view now.
  19. I also wouldn't have thought you were that young. Wow. I'm impressed. Kobold, that sounds interesting, I'd read it. This weekend, I should have more time to catch up in both docs for Connell and the Triumvirate as well as do Altermind's post. Hopefully. Maybe I'll finally finish my profile for Padiá too.
  20. Analysis of Tineye Messages: Night 1: Mists! I'm the Tineye again! All Spiked: kill me now. Please. With all my love. Analysis: This was just a joke towards Hero with the added message of MAW. If you take the first letter of every other sentence, you spell Maw, the name of my first Tineye character. Night 2: Analysis: Here there was more to it. First: The white text. If you look at the white text, "the one who is not Ehe" means the one without Warmth, hence Winter Cloud. The "one with no Ene(wit)" referred to Wilson's Witless character in LG6. "Endurance with an L" Endurance is Eon in Aons, so change the N to an L and you get Eol. "The writer of Rao" is the hardest one. Rao is spirit and spirits are invisible, so the writer of invisible referred to Claincy as the first to use white text on the forums. The last white text means This is wisdom following my logic. Forgive me if I am wrong, my loyalty is to this town. Part 2: Take the numbers mentioned(Aside from the "ones" in white.) Two numbers in one line means that they are a double digit number. SO you get: 55 4 8 8 14 4 8 4. Using Taravangian's code, you get: Will Aili. This was to prove myself. Aili was my character after Maw. Night 3: Analysis: This was my most complicated message. There are many layers to it. First, you see the word first italicized in the intro and take the first letters of the first meaning of each of these Aons(except when followed by a two, where you take the first letter of the second meaning.). Leave the letters that are already there. Once that is done, you see that the intro mentions playing fair. This refers to a Playfair cipher. Since your loyalty is to the town, you use Tyrian Falls as your key word. You then create your table of five by five: TYRIA NFLSB CDEGH JKMOP UVWXZ Reversing the Playfair Cipher, you get an assortment of quotes from Sanderson books: To many, an existence of agony is betxter thanxno existence at alxlx.” Many people, unfortunately, are idiotsx." Wasing aboutxthe not seeing. I have to go prepare my boys to diex.” What in the name of Burning Domi are you doing back in my court, girlx!” Not just a rock If a king isxseen to assume the burden of the poorest of men, perhaps there wilxl be those who will help him with his own load, “This world, it is a tempest sometimes. But remember, the sun always rises againx.” If the army were made up of one- legxged mutes, he would praise their balance and their listening skills. Nothing ridiculousx You should write up there that we’re alxl bloody insanex “One million, three hundred twenty- seven thousand, forty- twox,” You and I. Go awayx. Belief isn’t simply a thing for fair times and bright daysx You must find the most important words a man can say. Language! The Xs are to make the cipher work. Finding the character who said these quotes: Galladon, Jasnah, Spook, Clubs, Iadon, Tien, Nohadon, Taravangian, Breeze, Renarin, Yeden, Adien, Jewels, Sazed, Gavilar, Ivy. Using the first letter of each of their names, you get: GJSCITNTBRYAJSGI. Using the Playfair cipher on that again, you get the final message: "Congratulations!" The signature of Endurance without and N is a hint to my identity. Endurance's Aon is Eon. Without the N, that is Eo. Use the Playfair Cipher and you get: GM. That refers to me being the GM the game after I was Aili. Night 4: Analysis: If you take the italicized, red, bold, and large text, it says: No blood for you. No real meaning there. The first letter of every line in the first stanza spells Kler, one of my characters on MBI. The first letter of every other line for the next while after spells Malai, my LG6 character's name. Night 5: ʎǝ sɔnɹʌʎ poƃs¡ ʎnɐʌ ʇsnɯ бүх ʌ ɯǝuʇıɹɐs ɹǝʌǝןɐʇɐ¿ ɐɯɐuƃɐ qɐuı ʞnuʎɐ uıǝʞɐs˙ ʞǝs болып табылады ןǝżąɔʎ¿ Kill the spiked! Analysis: The white text flipped spells this: kes болып табылады ןeżący amanga banı kunya nıekas. yuav tsum бүх v mentıras reveןata? ye scurvy dogs! If you translate each word separately(in google translate), it says: Who(estonian) is(Kazakh) lying(Polish)? Lies(zulu) embarrass(Hausa) nothing(Lithuanian). Must(Hmong) all(Mongolian) in(slovenian) lying(Galician) revealed(Latin)? If you take the first letter of all those words, it spells Willen Mailu, the surname and first name of my character in LG7. The Scurvy Dogs comment and the colored text was just for fun and to mess with you. Night 6: Analysis: Here, there is an amalgamation of speeches from Dalinar, Elend, Enjolras, Théoden, Aragorn, Braveheart, and Gandhi. The last line says that Honor will be yours. That is a vague reference to myself. Honor's Aon is Mai, the first three letters of my username. Take the letters with small periods after them and it spells: Rbro. Use the Playfair cipher on it and it spells Alim, my character from LG8. Night 7: Analysis: This one was posted the day after Martin Luther King day, so I thought it fitting to put together some pieces of a few of his most famous speeches. The italicized letters spell Altermind, my LG9 character as well as my Oregon RP character. Night 8: Analysis: Here the clue is Mr. Morse. If you take the syllables of the first few words, and count one syllable ones as dots and 2+ syllables as dashes, the morse code spells Maill. Maxill. End. Maill was the character I played in LG1 and this game. Maxill was LG2. If you take the table from the Playfair cipher and use each column as 1-5 and each row as A-E, the message at the end says: FAREWELL. I thought that would be my last message. My final message had nothing hidden in it. I really had no more ideas and was burned out from these. Hope you guys enjoyed these! Edit: not sure why Night 6's spoiler tag isn't working right...
  21. Wow! That map is awesome! And those spells are interesting. It'll be fun to see how Khuvlai as a Mage interacts with these Sorcerors.
  22. Mail-mi and Inexorable are 16. Ashiok from SE is 14. I'll take that as a compliment. Using this, Jag's a Tier 3 for sure, maybe a Tier 4. I'm not sure which it should be. I call a spot! I'll be the Mizzy of the team.
  23. I feel your pain of being a Tineye. After so many messages, it's hard to think of anything new or cool.
  24. Really? The youngest I know is Ash and he just turned 14 I think. Umm, I can't remember exactly. Something to set it up so that he can present his plan to the rest of the cell.
  25. Wow. I'm pretty impressed. I'll try to post explanations for all my messages tomorrow, or Saturday. Claincy, argh! I suspected you many times, but always ended up deciding to trust you. I told Joe in a PM how much like Bartbug this would be if you were Spiked. The only difference was you didn't claim Seeker and that I wasn't the final kill.
