Now, to speak in a language you'll understand... Waffles? Waffle waffle waffles? To be perfectly honest, Hebrew has got all sorts of grammar rules that are easy to mess up even when one uses the language a lot. Only one gender switch mistake is pretty impressive.
Jag talar inte Svenska. Lo siento.
  3. The monster sheepishly looked down at the floor. Its claws twitched nervously. This was entering dangerous territory. "Well, they're a little bit preoccupied," it said finally. "There may have been an incident involving breadmunks that landed them in here a couple days ago..."
  4. The monster chuckled. "What use are parents when he's got the monster from under his bed with him?"
  5. Hello. Нет באמת.
  6. He hugged the monster. "Good to see you, old friend!" he cried.
  7. Ooh. I could use some of that. I've got a yellow sticky note that's lost its stickiness.
  8. He had to be kidding. Survival of the fittest was such an outdated method. And there was no way she'd ever try any attack intended to kill. That would be ridiculous. She wouldn't even know where to start. A grape had been intimidating enough. Besides... "I'd rather not have the Ghostbloods trying to avenge their councilman's life or thinking I attempted an assassination that failed, no matter how much you'd probably think that that would be a great training opportunity." Then again, could throwing a grape at him be considered an attack? Was she already on a blacklist? Probably not, she decided, lessening the amount of age she was storing, in an attempt to decrease the amount of irrational worries that kept surfacing. "Someone once told me to value my life and use it while I've got it--oh wait, that was you! Slightly hypocritical, given the way you seem to be regarding your own at the moment," she shrugged, returning her attention back to his question. "Yes, I do have some knowledge of weaponry, but mostly in defense." Mostly with knives, like he'd asked about initially, actually, as well as a little bit in most areas. Not that she carried a knife around with her. That would just be asking for trouble. Nearby, some guests looked like they'd be leaving soon. Most of the festivities that she and Lusk had ignored were winding down.
  9. You get a sticker. Now the will stay with you and do whatever the likes to do to unsuspecting Sharders. *inserts a potato*
  10. First, thank you, mods, for everything you do. You take time out of your lives to help make this subforum the great place it is. Thank you. Here's a character for next era. You'll probably recognize him. I'm hoping that even with the additions, he'll pass inspection, but if not, that's why I'm trying to submit him farther in advance. (Besides, I haven't fully thought through how any other characters will change yet...) I sent his character sheet to Voidus in a PM...rusts, that was over a year ago. He approved it as something I could try out to see if it would even be possible to write a pre-cog Epic in RP. I do believe that the PlasmaCore incident proved that it is possible, but it's up to your discretion. Pre-Shift Eiran for reference: Post-Shift Eiran (changes are written in blue to save you some time since most of it is the exact same thing):
  11. "Took you long enough," Golda said, wincing, before any Aons shot out the second pulse, "Viness is in a cell across. The youngest two are elsewhere." The floor rumbled. "There are sixteen of us and you'd better get us all out or I swear I will hunt you down to the end of my days and haunt you from-" she was interrupted by the second pulse, but her eyes continued to convey the message. She hoped she'd identified them correctly. Her cousins mostly described the Marines as "evil looking, but friendly". Though, the one eye thing was unexpected. Oops. Freedom thought as the door crashed to the floor. "Do you know what or who it could be?" she asked, unnerved that Honerva didn't seem to have everything under control. Or, more importantly, she mentally amended her question, whose side are they on? Compile, having anticipated that, avoided it by carefully stepping to the side while Crow was in flight. Eleven seconds was more than enough time for ten heartbeats to pass. She'd done some research on Shardblades since last time. Compile refused to be caught off guard. "I'm a ninth child and you really think that I was born out of wedlock?" she said taking a couple more steps away. "That's a rather misguided assumption. I am a very much legitimate child, thank you very much." She eyed Crow. "Though, I'm pretty sure I said to come unarmed. I kept my side of that, didn't I?" she raised her arms. It was then that she noticed the odd thing occuring to Crow. Peculiar, Compile noted. Must have been relying on Investiture to live. But what sort and for how long? And how long before she stops swinging a sword at me?
  12. That's a trick question, right? Wafflles get a 10. Waffles only get a 9.98375271934521 Wait a second...it's spelled incorrectly in my signature. But not for long...
  13. June SAT Subject tests are canceled. I didn't learn about it just now, but its ramifications finally dawned on me in their entirety. I planned on taking three this year, two in June and one in August. The two would basically be supplemental finals studying and the third could be studied for over the summer. Except now, if I want to take them, it'll be in August (hopefully). Already more of an issue because a lot of the information won't be as freshly drilled into my head by teachers. It'll require more independent studying during a summer that I was expecting to be pretty chill. Additionally, it'd mean I'd have to take three in one day unless I wanted to be studying for a subject test during what looks like it's going to be the most stressful year I've faced to date. Yay. So I'm probably going to end up scrapping the third one since it's the one I suspect I'd do the worst on and end up just doing two come August. There are definitely bigger things I should be worrying about currently (and besides, these are subject tests, not even the actual SAT). Probably why my brain is focusing on this not really so important one.
