  1. Tena was still bowing away lightly at her violin when she saw Ambrosia and paled. Really glad Ani didn't show up here. @Ark1002
  2. Nothing upsets me (other than Kell dying). Believe me. And I was actually trying to push you out of the name-calling, insult-throwing state of debate earlier.
  3. Now, here's a big shock: I made another meme. Not actually though. Calderis: I've won loads of days. TwiLyghtSansSparkles: You tried. You tried.
  4. Ah. I see. Also, what is with your obsession with proving yourself correct about this here duel?
  5. Rule of Cool trumps Vin, then. The underdog always wins in a true Rule of Cool battle, which is probably actually Huan, since... you know... I shouldn't make jokes. Anyway, how on earth do you always reply so fast? I'll wait like three seconds and then a pop-up shows up on my computer: "Voidus quoted you in a topic..." Are you only on when I'm awake or something? Because that would be creepy. Do you cameras in my house to show when I wake up? @Voidus
  6. ... In a Pokemon one-on-one-style duel, would Tolkien's characters or Sanderson's Cosmere characters win? Assuming that you're including only explicitly mentioned or featured characters on both sides. @StormblessedSurvivor
  7. But the only things we're giving Vin are her metals, so... yeah.
  8. Wereci smiled as the wolf, which was now a leopard, awkwardly backed away from the pack of wolves and Shifting Shadows. "Oh, c'mon," Wereci called to it, striding over, "at least remember your manners. What would Triavv think?" The wolf-which-was-now-a-panther whirled to face Wereci, its face enraged. Wereci could practically hear its thoughts: How dare you mention her! How DARE you! Wereci could tell that the panther was about ready to spring at him, but reminding it of Triavv also reminded it that treating people well impressed her. He's going to need to get over her sometime soon, Wereci thought tiredly. Else, all she'll be is blackmail material for Ashkiel to use against him. If Ashkiel ever wakes up. The event seemed imminent at this point, but Wereci couldn't help feeling that it would never happen; Ashkiel had been asleep for almost seven thousand years. Shifting Shadows seemed to take pleasure from killing these 'Koloss'. Some soldiers thought that hiding their emotions with more emotions made them better warriors, but it didn't. You had to keep cool, in control, during a battle, though maybe a touch of care for your soldiers would keep you focused. Men like Shifty lost their skill and control when they allowed it to slip away and disguised it with passion like Shifty was. Wereci himself hadn't ever tried to let passion take over; for one thing, he'd been fighting the way he did since he was twelve, and it was difficult to teach an old dog new tricks (Dusk would've tried to take a swing at Wereci if he'd said that to Dusk). Anyway, having clarity during battle let you think about what you were doing. You had to remember that the lives you were taking were real ones, with real consequences. Or maybe I've just been fighting Zosans too long. Koloss didn't have families, or friends, or lives beyond wanting to kill things. So perhaps Shifty's loss of control was only a detriment for his skill. Wereci displayed signs of deference to Shifty's pack, pressing his ears down against his skull. They started to get nervous about that; Wereci was the alpha male of his own squad, after all. Then, realizing that the wolves probably wouldn't be offended, he stood up straight and flicked his ears forward alertly, letting his tongue hang out and showing his inuhmanly large canines and incisors. He was a Tesan, and he was proud of it. @Ark1002
  9. You. Just. Ate. A. Fourteen. Year-old. Cat. WTF
  10. Boy I will feed you to Football if you dare claim you made that.
  11. There aren't any Invested mists outside of Scadrial.
  12. @Ark1002 It's true, by the way.
  13. Noooooooooooope. Vin would run out of metals, then Huan could kill her easily.
  14. I'd upvote that, but I spent all twenty on Ark for no reason.
  15. Vin still rules. This is my AMA, freaking Kelsier make the rules. *he says to a mod*
  16. Incorrect. Vin could just go die compared to an actual wolf. And she would eventually run out of metals fighting Huan, which would mean that she would die. Vin is not manly, just meh. The only manly person in Mistborn is Kelsier, 'cause he won a brawl with an Inquisitor.
  17. But we're talking about 'to the death' Pokemon battles. Also, I'm pretty certain that Vin's prophesy isn't 'spiritually binding' like Huan's. Also, what sort of monster would kill a dog? Vin. She already has killed a dog to give a body to TenSoon.
  18. Actually. Huan can't be slain by anything but the greatest wolf ever to live. Which I'm pretty sure Vin isn't. And a Brandon vs. Tolkien brawl goes to Tolkien, because only manly men smoke actual pipes, and that means Tolkien is the manliest of men. Despite the fact that he's dead. But manliness wins brawls, so...
  19. The wolf glared at Wereci, again. Wereci vaguely wondered why it was in such a bad mood today, then blinked and was suddenly on a different planet. The hormonal stress would have distressed someone who wasn't native to the place, but to Wereci it was normal. Dusk yawned from his bunk and looked over to Wereci, mumbling something about Wereci not having enough sense to leave other places well enough alone. He had already forgotten what had happened on the Alleyplanet. *** Zehr blinked into existence a few feet out of the serpent's way, already having turned into a black leopard. He was best at human, wolf, and large cats, and could occasionally manage being a fox for a while. He couldn't, as of yet, turn anyone else into an animal, and was scared to try. He closed his eyes for a bare moment, transferring his mind to imagining a Winged he'd met on the Left Wing standing nearby on the roof, then shifted the air particles from this place to where the Winged was standing, making the two things switch places. He didn't know why he could do this, but he could. The Winged and, annoyingly, Wereci appeared on the roof. Zehr spared a moment to scowl at the latter. That boy would get himself killed being reckless like this someday. Then Zehr used what was called 'Transformation' (in this stupid universe) on the serpent, transforming the stubborn thing into pure hydrogen. He nearly collapsed from the effort; turning all those iron, calcium, carbon, etc etc atoms into hydrogen was taxing. Loads of spare electrons, neutrons, and protons were released into the air and Zehr barely prevented them from exploding into an enormous nuclear Hindenburg. @Ark1002
  20. "Your turn," Wereci told the wolf, and it tried again to scowl at him, then turned to the snake-thing and stared at it. A moment later, it turned into a solid block of iron, in the exact same position. "I could've done it faster," Wereci pointed out, gesturing a finger at the wolf. It irritably tried to snap it off in its jaws, but Wereci tapped the wolf on the nose, transferring his power to the wolf. It suddenly became incredibly slow, and Wereci shook out his shoulders too fast for eyes to track, then released the wolf. It immediately turned into a scowling man in a loose dress shirt and khakis, shorter than Wereci by a considerable half-foot. "Oh, have you deigned to speak to me?" Wereci asked Zehr. "I've deigned to $#&*ing killing you," Zehr replied in a tone that sounded distinctly sarcastic, but that wasn't exactly a shock. The man shook out his head, like he was trying to clear some fog in it, his short red, actually red, hair nearly hitting Wereci in the face. "Great. Oh, please turn back into a wolf. You're so much more tolerable that way." Zehr glared at Wereci with his piercing amber eyes, then was suddenly a wolf again, this time a stark black color with those same orange eyes. @Ark1002
  21. Wereci cocked his head at the army of strange, huge, twisted humans, then bowed politely to the wolf. It tried to scowl at him, then tried to roll its eyes, discovering again that neither was easy to do when it was a wolf, then resigned itself to growling at Wereci. Wereci gestured to the army. The wolf turned to it, then focused at the center, closing its eyes for a moment and concentrating. A huge explosion enveloped the horde, booming and making Wereci press his ears against his skull, even though he'd been expecting it. "Well, that was easy enough," Wereci said to Shifty, then realized that some of the Koloss were still alive, on the edges of the mass of corpses. The wolf gestured at the remainders with his snout, eyes teasing and mean, so Wereci scowled and ran forward after tapping Shifty lightly on the shoulder. He transferred a vast load of his weight to Shifty, then jumped, launching himself into the air. The world around him seemed to slow down as he sped up his personal time, slowing down Shifty's. He landed on the ground among a group of slowly-moving Kolossal, then made Vengeance bigger and edged down its length, swinging the demonspear at all around him. In what seemed like seconds, the Kolossal were all dead. Wereci jumped back to the wolf and Shifty, then tapped Shifty again, releasing the bond and bringing Shifty back into normal time and gravity. @Ark1002
  22. Yeah, I'll agree with you on that one. So, let's start with Vin versus Huan (Huan wins).
  23. Wereci jogged after the wolf, who appeared to be able to see through the Lightweaving. It continued over several other bridges.
