Which Brandon Character Would You Date?
BlairJ replied to Chaos's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Yeah, she is one of those that would heavily rage if you broke it off. She is not one that would accept the "it's not you, it's me" phrase. I think she would be really difficult to have as a girlfriend in general. She disappears, is very guarded, and has a load of baggage that I am not sure I would be prepared to deal with. -
I thought of this as well, and I agree with Krelian that they could have been using their stores of Breath. Another thing that is possible is that Denth and Vasher were taking weekly Breaths, we just don't hear about it. While Vasher ended up being a main character and much more, there are lengthy periods of time that we do not hear about what he is up to. Same goes for Denth.

Thank you. Going to order mine this week. Not sure what to put on it yet... And sorry for being an idiot, but even after looking at the form, I am not sure how much each bookmark costs. I only see the price for shipping. Thanks

Do you know what issue they are?

Yup, I would certainly love to win this!

I wouldn't be surprised if we found out that there was more than just Hoid on each planet.....

That is very similar to how I imagined the dress that the Alethi women would wear. You have your stone for soulcasting in there?

Just as an update, I have put together my thoughts and have sent them over to Crafty Games. Let's see what they think.

That is truly epic, firstRainbowRose!! I am even more excited now!! Let me no when you are ready to take my monies.

Actually, unlike many, Warbreaker was my second favorite cosmere book that Sanderson has done, so I personally would like to see Nightblood. But, I am all for the next Mistborn series, though 20th century anything does not do as much for me.

Which Brandon Character Would You Date?

This is a tough choice! I think that I would probably date Siri or Vivenna. They are both called "beautiful" by those around them and I think they both have an incredible intellect and toughness that I find quite sexy. Though, I seriously would not want to try and steal them from Vasher or the God-King..... Oh, and Navani. I am into hot, older women. -
That is referring to the 20th century technology if I am not mistaken...

Truly, these books are a lot of fun! I have enjoyed them quite thoroughly. As far as selling them to friends, sell them another Sanderson book first, and then get them to read these. While they are an easy read (being children's books), the shattering of the "fourth wall" can be a little hard to swallow at first, though it adds quite a bit to the books.

Hmm, I am not having that problem. I am logged in on my PC, laptop, tablet, and phone and have not yet been logged out. Strange.

I am very interested to see what happens with Vivenna and Vasher as they go to see what Yes feel is up to. I would also like to here the outcome of the lifeless war and it would be interesting to see how the God-King and Siri put the kingdom back together.

Sorry, I should have added the tour dates here too. Thanks for doing that, Meg!

With the Rithmatist tour happening, which signing will you be showing up to? I will be at the PA signing.

I won't go into any real detail, but if you look at the entire religious sub-plot of Elantris, you will find all kinds of things that really strike you as a draw from LDS beliefs. One of the biggest underlying tones of the book is "which religion to join". I am putting together some quotes from the book and should have them up over the weekend. Another one I think has plenty is Warbreaker. It is infiltrated with a whole slew of "gods-on-earth" with other religions worshiping a single God. It is a constant battle between the religions, both physical and mental (through the minds of its members) as to what is correct. There are a few things that really scream LDS, and I will try and post those quotes as well.

Well, this is proving to be quite a bit better than the Rithmatist UK cover. I like this one better personally.

Just read this entire thread. I find it hilarious that the announcement of the name of the book turned into all of this! :-)
