Actually found the whole series at the library this week so my wife and I are going through them now. We will buy them when we can find them at a decent price. The first book is quite enjoyable so far.

I know I am a little bit late to this, but you can also listen to the Alcatraz books on Audible. It is a monthly fee but cheaper than the book prices that I am finding.

Hello fellow Shardbearers, My name is Blair, and I live in Harrisburg, PA. I have long been a lurker of the 17th Shard forums (even signed up a while back), but after heading to a signing in Baltimore this past Monday, I felt it was time to break my silence and officially join the forums by posting. I discovered Brandon's books some time ago and have enjoyed them ever since. I am still working on completing everything in the Cosmere, but I am almost there and certainly enjoyed the journey. A little bit about myself: I work in the lottery industry by day and own a professional gaming news website, ARPGamer.com, I am an aspiring author (I know, that is quite cliche), the CEO and Executive Producer of an indie development studio, and currently working on developing a suite of world building and writing tools for authors and game designers. So...I am a little busy. While many of you are greatly anticipating Steelheart, The Rithmatist, or book 2 of the Stormlight Archive, the product I am most anticipating is Birthright (obviously due to my affiliation with ARPGamer!). I am very excited for all of the books as well! Anyways, I will not leave you a wall of text as an introduction, but I look forward to communicating with and getting to know all of you.

I thought about calling out to see if anyone there was a member of the 17th Shard forums (I figured there would be a few). I did ask about Mistborn: Birthright and apparently it is going to make it's way to the next generation of consoles, so it should be a very nice representation. I did find out that Brandon is still writing 100% of the dialogue (there were some rumors a while back that he wouldn't be) and that it is well underway. Do not mean to derail the Shadesmar conversation. Just thought this would be a great time and thread to add my first of many posts!
