Negation crouched outside the tent she knew Tion was in, biting her lip. Then she gave up and ran inside, ignoring shouts as she was noticed, not even looking back to see if Truth was still behind her. She hissed softly at the sight of the god's writhing form, then prepared herself. This wouldn't be one of the easy reversals. She didn't know what Tion had done or had been done to him, and therefore it would be best to keep it. However, she did need to Negate his injuries, or he would die. Even deities with advanced healing capacity could only take so much before it culminated in death.
She'd need to be precise and slow, then. Eyes fixed on Sensation, she whispered, "Anderson, could you please make sure nobody comes in and kills us?" Gati did not wait for an answer before closing her eyes, trying not to let her anxiety kick in, and feeling for Hopearaa's...something. The material that made up things that were hard to name. She'd often thought about it before, trying to put a name to what their powers interacted with, but words weren't enough.
It was the first bite of ice against bare skin...
It was the adrenaline of challenging an authority...
It was the shading of the sky before a rainstorm...
It was the roar a foe let out when you dealt the last blow...
It was the pounding of emotions after your first love...and so much more.
And now, Gati touched it. Wrapped one mental fist around it and yanked it toward her, then began the process of Negating Tion's wounds, focusing on the worst dangers first. It was hard, though - which was to be expected; after all, going back an unspecified amount of time to get rid of the injuries someone had gained from who-knew-what, but making sure not to undo anything else...especially when that someone was a deity? Not quite the same as the whiteboard-erasing metaphor she usually thought about. This was more like unraveling a tapestry one thread at a time. It still shouldn't have been that difficult...but lately, using her power was a bit harder than it should be. Gati wasn't sure why, other than that the Augury probably had something to do with it.
She forced back her anxiety again.
