No apologizing needed, I am always down to answer TMA questions! In canon, probably Jon. Call me basic, but he's got a good arc and is interesting in every season. I love most of them, though. Favorite episode is hard...probably one of the S5 ones, maybe the slam poetry one - think it's called Carousel? Or possibly the end of S3. And I mean, 160 is a classic. I am excited! Haven't been keeping up with all the news since the kickstarter, I must admit, but I will be enjoying the episodes as soon as they're out to non-backers, I think. Hello!! Probably Monopoly, I greatly enjoy it - especially the speed version in one of the newer editions. (I say new. but it probably came out in like 2016 or 2015 or something.) That involves dealing out all the properties at the start, and then you can wheel and deal and negotiate with people for them, which I find fun. I like trading. My extended family will actively gang up against me and I'll still connive things out of them. XD While I'm here, actually, I watched some more of WoT and blargh, I definitely hate these guys. 0/10 would murder. If I was in their universe I'd certainly be scared of them. They don't put the fear of the light specifically into me though, because I don't believe in their theology. Whyever, ever not, Fadran?

You know your character best - why is it that they can't speak or write? What would that affect and what would it not affect? What would they as a person choose to do?

Generally, if someone gives their character a weakness and does not add a way of circumventing it to their character sheet, it is assumed that they're actually going to be RPing that weakness if you convincingly write getting such an item, you could do this, but I'd personally not recommend you do it just because the weaknesses you choose should mean something, right? They make characters more fun. Getting rid of them right off the bat of introducing your character isn't great form. And if you did decide to do it, we'd want to make sure your character earned that upgrade through writing, not just randomly gained it, right? So I would discourage this.

Deteca, who'd been sitting on the other side of the table in the simple room they used for - among other things - office positions interviews, laughed lightly. "Hi there, you're eager, aren't you! We don't quite do the formal spoken oath thing much these days..." She trailed off, trying to remember if they'd done that in the Forgery and if that might be why this young man was confused, and then abruptly remembered that she hadn't been here in the Forgery. She cleared her throat and went on, "But I believe you've already done a preliminary interview with Janice? So I just have a few quick follow-up questions, and then I think we almost certainly will hire you for the position! It's Dionysus, right?"

Looking good so far, if you just want to finish up the last few small things like their motivation, what other language they know, flaws, and things like that then should be good afterward. I'd advise you to consider adding a little more detail in some places, but this is fine for a start. Approved!

Marie, SeKaan's safehouse, the Bindpoint Marie watched SeKaan change with interest. The process was faster than she had expected. Less gory, as well; she glimpsed only a few organs (and they were the correct colors - the kandra knew their anatomy). She relaxed fractionally when SeKaan said they were not on good terms with Harmony, and when the other kandra admitted not to knowing him. That was a surprise, but one quickly explained with a story - one which made Marie feel a way she didn't like; which made some part of her turn over in the back of her mind in a way that felt sick. Whatever the memory was, it wasn't in a coppermind, so it wasn't the worst of it. The bit about the unnamed kandra being spiked again, though she knew her own experiences with spike placement mostly were put away one way or another and shouldn't bother her, had her flicking her pewter on and off inside. That they had been trapped, had no life to live - of course that was also familiar. Marie allowed herself to know that this was how she had felt since her induction to the Steel Inquisitors. It was also, of course, perfectly fine in most cases and she had not needed to have her own life with Ruin. What could be freer than flame and steel, ripping through the wind? And Harmony had taken that from her. She spoke up, having leaned against an intact wall a minute or so after the unnamed kandra sat down. She wasn't physically in danger from these two, possibly not in danger from them at all. "You've got it right that I'm not friendly with Harmony either. His idea of help is more like my idea of hell. I came here to get away from him too, and to 'build a life'." The air quotes she did with her hands weren't necessary, what with the tone of her voice, but making them was automatic. (She wondered if she had been sarcastic with other noblewomen, with friends, if she had had friends then. Or was it something she had picked up only after Ruin, when speaking to Harmony? She could not imagine using air quotes when speaking to Ruin, nor to the other Inquisitors, even when mocking someone.) "I was made before the Catacendre, some...twenty-one, twenty-two? I don't know, a couple decades after I was born. I was an Inquisitor for the Lord Ruler. And then there was Ruin, and I was his, of course." Her voice was casual, still, easy. This was safe territory. "And then he was - then Harmony took up both Shards and remade the world. I did not submit to his glory or authority. He believed that he could, and should, turn me from Ruin. He stopped me from crossing the lines he did not believe should be crossed, in regards to death and destruction. But he must not have had many lines of his own, because he was perfectly happy to mess with my head in trying to - " Marie cut off, realizing she was standing again and breathing heavily, voice raised. She tried to reset, but she couldn't pack the anger away, and finally she jerked her head to the side, swung her fist and punched the wall. If she'd had a knife in her hand she might have thrown it.
