If it’s out and about on the Internet, particularly Google, it’s almost certainly been posted before. In most cases it’s best to make your own memes, and if you think it’s niche enough, to at least say it’s not you who made it.

I got that, sorry, I was just stating our number, not trying to say it was bigger.

There are many other completely accepted reasons to use technically incorrect grammar, particularly on the internet. It’s like a new dialect of the language: no longer incorrect, just correct in a different way. If you’re being formal then that’s one thing, but with talking regularly you often don’t want to be formal; it defeats the purpose of what you’re trying to do.

No, I mean that. If you actually try to correct everyone’s grammar all the time, you will eventually mentally explode. It might not look like what you think it will, but it’ll come.

You have the right to speak however you want, but in the end so do other people. The mods encourage us to use good grammar if possible, but English isn’t everyone’s first language and an acronym every now and then is considered just fine. I didn’t say it to defy you; I meant it as a joke aimed at everyone. I definitely get the pain of people making grammar mistakes - I’ve copied hundreds of pages of RP into editable documents for partially that reason - but if you try to correct everyone’s grammar I worry that you’ll burn out quickly. I think I’d die if I tried.
