    Hi! The above advice is correct, you might get spoiled on some magic systems or worldbuilding but otherwise you’ll probably be fine. Either way works. As a side note, the guilds are optional - you can join them if you want (and I’d personally recommend it, I think they’re fun), but you don’t need to if you don’t want to or if you don’t think your character would join any.
