  1. She beamed at him. "Right, right, because our- your god is fallible and he needs breaks from one measly Inquisitor! Glad we made that clear to everyone."
  2. "You both explicitly asked me to." She winked at him. "Reconsidering telling Harmony you'd watch me?"
  3. Marie drew a coin out of her pouch and Pushed it out of her hand, then Pulled it back in, savoring the slap of metal hitting flesh. Push, Pull, like one of those child's games with a ball on a string. "Right then, this man is a kandra, one of your so-called Holy Ones." The coin zoomed in his direction for a foot before being Pulled back. "The hands and mouth of Harmony, and just as able to lose their fragile tempers as you mortals are. Nothing special about them except that they can eat you." She made her face innocent when her jailer tried to calm them down. I can't tell the others what she's doing, but perhaps I can allude to it... "You know how to make me stop talking, darling," Marie got out, and then her vocal cords decided that was enough.
  4. "Ah ah, do you want me to shut up or explain? Seems that you don't quite know whether or not you want to agree with the monster in the room." Marie pushed herself off the counter with a laugh. "Well, one of two monsters."
  5. "Steelrunner calling the Sparker fast, isn't that? I'm not the only Hemalurgic creation in this room, and I know for a fact I'm not the only one humans have myths and horror stories about." She bared her teeth in a grin. "At least I'm easy to spot and run away from."
  6. "Am I? Why is it such a bad idea for everyone to be able to defend themselves against a good spiking by getting the Hemalurgist first? Some people only use their powers for criminal means or hurting others. Surely they don't deserve them, when they could instead be used to further the understanding of science?"
  7. "Harmony's the god of making everything too perfect," Marie muttered. Her voice picked up volume as she looked at Eryn. "I agree with the Southern lady. Let's tell everyone. It'll go so well." She chuckled, imagining the chaos.
  8. Marie scowled when the new orders came in, but said nothing. More things to try to find workarounds for. Ugh. "I swear on my life," she drawled, "that I want to kill everyone in this room."
  9. Marie had only ever Compounded atium and bronze, but she nodded. "Those powers are great indeed. Just come talk to me if you're interested in becoming something more than human."
  10. 'I'm just saying it's an option," Marie shrugged. "If you're up for it, I'm always happy to arrange something."
  11. "Mmm. I was thinking more that if that scholar's curiosity of yours is making you ache to know what being spiked is like, we could test that out in a back alley. Swap out the ache of learning for different type of pain. I know my way around a body well enough to do the job." Marie smirked. "Have you ever wanted to have a better memory than you do? An extra kick? Or to be an Archivist, maybe a Sentry? There are many things that could help a woman with research. Especially if that research goes into more unsavory parts of the world."
  12. She raised an eyebrow coolly. "What reason do I have to tell you? Perhaps instead you should find out firsthand."
  13. "Hemalurgy can give you Allomancy," Marie said coolly, still scanning the room, keeping track of its inhabitants. "Allomancy, Feruchemy. More powers than a Twinborn, and you can choose what you get if you like." She hadn't - she could still remember the horror of being ambushed, the ritual carried out, the other Inquisitors exulting, the pain and the fear and how metal and blood tasted the same, really, when you got down to it... She shook her head to herself. She had these powers now, and she was grateful for them, and for those she'd served before Harmony. "It's useful, if you don't mind a little mess, don't mind taking an enemy or someone off the street out of the world. And why would you, if you don't know them?" She glared at the collection of blues that made up Adilie. "Sure, it opens you up to being controlled, but mortals are imperfect."
  14. Ene walked into the shop and asked if she could buy a pet rock.
  15. I can add you to the PM (private message) if you're interested in reading and/or joining it, as well as the group chat for RWBY (though, actually, it might just be best to make a thread at this point...hmm).
  16. Hey, welcome to the Shard!

  18. *glances at closet where she's trying desperately to not let the RWBY RP die* Anyway, welcome to the forums! I'll need to check out your stuff sometime I do need to tell you as a mod that we prefer that people don't post twice in a row, instead using the edit feature, though it's not a big deal.
