I mean, Renarin has a crush on Rlain, so maybe Kaladin is too human for him lol. Actually speaking, I think Renarin (and most members of Bridge Four) idolises Kaladin, so Renarin sees Kaladin more like a hero that he looks up to than a possible love interest. Moreover, there is this scene in OB where Kaladin think Drehy is feminine for courting a man, which may have hurt Renarin since people had already tried to insult him saying he's feminine.

I have some unpopular opinions I think: 1: Alloy of Law is the best Mistborn Era 2 book. 2: Shallan is the best character of SA. 3: Kaladin's past was the worst of the four we know about. 4: Lift's interlude in WoR is the most boring chapter in SA. 5: Mistborn Era 1 is YA but they aren't considered like that because people think YA is a derogatory term.

Not liking WoK would be rough since the SA books are soooo long. However, I think people are too invested in SA that a bad book isn't going to stop them reading the next ones. The only way to make Sanderson's fans stop reading SA is to kill all the characters which is a thing that is not going to happen.

Thanks! I'm glad you could enjoy Elantris. My favorite character is Shallan (which I consider to be a unpopular opinion), I just love her journey as a character and how flawed she is. I really hate Moash (who doesn't) but I like him as a villain. I struggle to get through the Kaladin chapters in TWoK but I like him in the other books. Maybe Hrathen?? I think Hrathen is my least favorite character now that I think about it lol.

I got Truthwatcher and it's one of my favorites order so I'm totally okay with that (and I love Renarin so that makes it better )

I found Elantris kinda boring, I only cared for Sarene and I found the plot a little underwhelming. However I think that's the only book from the Cosmere that I didn't like and I don't consider Elantris to be a bad book, just not my cup of tea.

Thank you! The Hero of Ages is my favorite Mistborn book and probably my favorite Sanderson book in general, that ending broke me.
