  1. Rob's question broke James out of his contemplative stupor, and a second chill began to settle over him. He was fairly certain he knew what this was about, and wasn't sure he liked it at all. What do I do? he asked himself, I know the answer, but do I tell them? Panic began to settle in, as James contemplated his answer. At last, he turned back to Rob, and answered, "Last door on the right, 3rd floor, just next to the attic ladder."

Well, the choice is made he said to the Nightwatcher. I made a promise that I would help people grow and progress, and in order to do that, I can't always be there shepherding them. The Nightwatcher made a satisfied noise of affirmation, and sent to him, I think you made the right choice James.

James wasn't so sure, if this was the right path, why couldn't he shake the feeling that he'd just made a terrible mistake?

    @I think I am here.

  2. James sat down on the couch, hand coming up to rest on his chin contemplatively. Things are beginning to move in a big way he thought to himself, like the leap before the plunge. And to continue down that line of thought, I don't think we all have scuba gear. The thought sent a chill up his spine, and his hand slowly moved to cover his face as he slumped down. Whatever God that may be out there, I know we don't talk much, but I have to know how I can help them. I have to keep my friends safe. I must. The informal prayer left his mind, and he hoped that somehow, he'd find a way to see them all safely through.

I kinda want to, but I know that if I start, it will be a rabbit hole that I’ll never get out of. The game alone will probably take up much of my time as I explore it inside and out, play through it’s different story lines, fiddle with mechanics and stats to try and find the perfect team. Not to mention, after that, I’ll need to know the entire story line of all the other FE games, and then I’ll want to buy those games so I can experience them first hand, spend lots of money and time, etc. Who knows, maybe I’d enjoy TH a lot and be satisfied with that, but I’m still hesitant so as not to sell my soul

3 Houses is easily one of my favorite games of all time. It is a game that has kept me captivated time and time again. In other words, I highly recommend you give it a try. It also is among the more forgiving FE games difficulty-wise with turn resetting mechanics like Divine pulse (as opposed to older games, where one tiny miscalculation can cause you to need to reset an entire chapter).

    Can you get it for a 3DS? I don't have a Switch...

Is your roommate situation any better?

Unfortunately no. It came out at a point where new stuff wasn't really coming out for 3DS anymore, and the game (which was designed for PC), took some substantial revamping just for the Switch, PS4 and Xbox ports.

As for your second question, I don't know, I haven't met them yet:P

I can't find the exact video where it comes from. I know it's Anime Impulse, but I don't know which Three Houses interview it is. Someday when I have more time I'll probably watch them all to find it.

I recognize some of the clips, like Hubert's comes from a video where Robbie Daymond just says inspirational quotes menacingly. (Quality comedy right there)

    What’s your favorite college class?

Has your brother read all of the cosmere?

What video game would you recommend I play?

Ack! Sorry I didn't get to this sooner. (Honestly, I had to turn off email notifications for new posts, because it was starting to drown out actual important emails).

    1. That's a hard question. I really liked my Educational Psychology class that I recently took in terms of content, but what with remote learning, it wasn't a very enjoyable experience. Honestly my favorite class that I've taken is probably my general Ed Science course, which was all about Human Evolution.

    2. Yes he has, outside of White Sand, which I haven't read either.

    3. Depends on the consoles you have access to. If you're in for a bit of a challenge, I recommend Hollow Knight, which is available on most current gen consoles, as well as PC (it's also pretty dang cheap for the amount of content. 15 dollars for a game probably worth 60). If you have a Nintendo Switch of any variety, a game I cannot recommend enough is Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It's half time management game, and half Strategy RPG. It's got a really multifaceted story, which I can't really begin to do justice, and gameplay that sort of resembles chess. (also I think some really well written characters to boot).

Oh heck I don't know how to describe it. Mostly like beef, Google says.

Well, given that most commercial beef is raised in a non-wild environment, elk meat (Venison), is significantly leaner, because the elk themselves have to do a lot more work to actually survive. Some people note it as having a 'gamey' sort of flavor, and this is mainly due to a more 'wild' diet, as compared to your average beef cow. Venison can be prepared mostly the same way as your standard beef: steaks, roasts, ground into hamburger, stews, soups, chilis (the soup not the vegetable.) Honestly, unless you were looking out for super subtle differences in texture, flavor, and fat content, you'd have a hard time distinguishing it from beef in most cases.
