Long Game 53: The Fate of the Forum
I think I am here. replied to xxGaea's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Oh, yay! Spammer is gone! This makes me want to recheck stuff happening last cycle, and next Week (Day) do we still want to lynch Road? Something I thought of: if Road was a spammer who had a powerful role, then it makes me think to save him the elims wouldn’t just swing the lynch to a villager, but would probably bus one of their non-role teammates to keep the suspicion firmly off of Road for a while, as they were lynch competitors. This bus could especially work if the theory discussed earlier last Week (Day) were true, that there is a larger amount of elims than usual. It’s an interesting tactic I want to discuss. And also: My vote from Road is gone. @A Joe in the Bush is that a mistake? Because if it isn’t then that means the opposing side also had some sort of vote manip available.- 1116 replies

Wes nodded, and stepped back a bit. He could let these two talk, without interrupting them. This whole job was way above his paygrade anyway, for an underling, but for some reason he’d been picked when Mr. Uwik has had other places to be. Subconsciously he began tapping some bendalloy anxiously.

Wait, are you Alvron? Oh wow, how did I not realise Wait, so are Guest and Road at equal votes now? I guess that would be best - a random selection. Or maybe both get lynched.- 1116 replies

The Spooky Spiketacular Extravaganza!
I think I am here. replied to Voidus's topic in The Alleyverse
Wilhelm looked around, stepping forward a little bit. Five, there were five people. Him, the skinny one, the short hair one, the ettmetal-bladed one, and the one that reminded him of a child. Oh yes, and there was another one, the one who’d just arrived. He hung around, looking towards one of the people. “Hello,” he said to the one that had spoken about their name, but not their skills. Arun. He had a clear accent, but he was still understandable. “I’m Wilhelm. It is nice to meet you.” @Blessing of Potency- 759 replies

“Um, oh wow,” Wes said, rubbing his eyes. “I don’t know if I have the authority.” He looked around, tried to find the Righthand’s eyes and gestured to her, asking what to do. She was the only high-up Ghostblood he could see. But still, she was as, if not more scary than the Jackal, so having them both here, talking to him would be terrifying. Or would they cancel each other’s fear factor out? Wes didn’t know. @Sorana

Wilhelm hobbled a bit further away, looking to the three women and a man with a sword he could summon. What sort of ettmetal contraption was that? Crossing his arms, he noticed the two talking people. The woman who had just walked straight in, she was very thin. Wilhelm nodded. He didn’t have much urges to eat her at all, luckily. Not that he’d do that to anyone, honestly. He was better now. But thin prey rarely made good food, and of her he doubted he’d get much more than bones. The other woman was the one who’d been examining another ettmetal contraption Wilhelm didn’t realise, and had shortish hair. Interesting. “I am Wilhelm,” he saif quietly, walking a little more forward. “I can make traps, and survive when I need to.”- 759 replies

Wes gulped and stepped back a little at the Jackal moving forward. His headache still ran supreme in his skull, and brought a hand to his forehead to try and soothe it. “Oh, um, hi Mr. Jackal,” he said nervously, and quietly. “Please don’t kill me. But if we talk without those other guys’ permission, they might kill me too.”

Ok! I need to post a bit more. Metabardnition has some good points. The gradual voting on Rae seems like a suspicous counter-wagon, but even more interesting is how it dissapeared. Now only Fura’s voting on her. So would be an spammer attempt to counter bandwagon? I don’t think so, unless they knew it wasn’t working and decided to jump ship. Which gives me questions about Roadwalker. Needless to say, they’re inactive and I think that is good reason, and so in addition we get information on the people who made the counter wagon as well.- 1116 replies

How’s the music world? I think I already have an idea for my character, a musician who wants to prove that he can something better than all of those machine music makers. Obviously that only applies if there are machine music makers, hence the question

Lurkers are Smerkers. 他們的行為都屬實 reklawdaoR Crimsn, you say Elephant and their real account are confirmed good, which while it means we can clear them, I think that also makes them a suitable target for the conversion spambot. Oh, the horrors! To have one of our own turn rogue! G才sp!- 1116 replies

Wes felt a pounding in his head, and he tried not to hyperventilate. The Jackal. Oh, storms, he was right here. And wanted to talk to him privately. “I-I-uh-I-I mean- okay?” He stammered.

You know what would be interesting? A sci fi where there are tensions between genetic modifications and cybernetic modifications, maybe even a little Cold War between the two.

“No!” Wes exclaimed. His head still ached like crazy. “We are a good guild, and just because of one attack which there is no evidence we did you’re talking about stuff like this. It sounds almost like you all are teaming up on us, to try and get us out of the picture.”

“I really don’t know if I have the authority to do that.” Wes rubbed his head, he had a killer headache from all this stress. “I’m just an underling, you know.” His head throbbed again. “Um, I request a recess break? Of maybe five minutes?”

Wes rubbed his eyes. It seemed he was fighting a losing battle against an army that outarmed him. Politics was tough. “Okay then,” Wes said. “Numero uno, if you look at the records of Ghostblood army regiments, there wasn’t a single population drop in our military at the time of the attack. No records have been made regarding any of our regiments going anywhere, and witness accounts from soldiers say the same. No army of ours left that night. “Numero dos, look at the weoponry they used. Look at what evidence you collected of them. Notice how not a single weapon has signs of Ghostblood manufacturing, which can be spotted by our symbol on it. No ghostblood weapons were used, and we have proof all of our current militaries use Ghostblood weapons. “And numero evidencé tres, the existence of a third party is not as crazy as you say it is. The Jackal, for example, is literally known for having resources on par with great guilds because of his criminal network. The Bloodflame gang is another illegal enterprise that’s expanding, and its signature weapon is fire, like the Waiter used. And in addition, both of these have past experiences with attacking other places for no reason. And so they could easily make up an army, and have a sound reason for framing us. The Bloodflame and Jackal gangs would want to unstablise the government, so they could attack. Or even this mysterious Bureau of Villainry that seems to be going around, or that fellow with the metal arm. He’s a powerful third party. “And they all have motives for framing us. And what better way to start an outrage than attack an upcoming Great Guild and blame it on another great guild? It’s literally what the Survivor did by starting a House War on Scadrial, and now history is repeating itself and you all are ignoring it.” He took a sip of his water. After all that talking, he was so thirsty.

“I’ll try my best,” Max said, then sighed. Two kids out for revenge. If they weren’t careful, they could waste so many years hunting them down, and all for a death. If he ever heard the phrase Silph described, he knew he’d be out to help them. “You should find the Black Book,” Max said, looking upwards. “The day’s getting dark, in more ways than one. I should be getting home.” -
“By how you’re acting you definitely don’t seem to want to be allies with us anyway,” Wes said. “And I think you’re exaggerating again. We aren’t trying to make enemies with you, though if you think a little political debate is making enemies then you’re, uh, dumb.” He backtracked. “I mean, that’s not to say you’re dumb, but if you think we’re trying to make enemies with you when you’re the ones badgering us about control, bragging about a guild I’ve never heard of and then insulting my use of ‘probably’, then you’ve probably got another thing coming.”

“And that’s probably why I’ve never heard of you. For a Great Guild, you don’t seem to be very well known. Who are you, again?” Wes honestly didn’t know, but he was satisfied he managed to turn the confusion into some sort of jab.

“No,” Wes insisted, but then realised how childish that sounded. “I mean, everything has a reason. Trade routes, like it could have been trade routes. A small squad of TUBA soldiers probably blocked one of our trade routes and we tried to remove them. That’s probably all it was! But you guys, you all like exaggerating everything, to make us seem evil. We literally brought everyone here for the Oasis records, a tragedy which happened in our own city, but we don’t exaggerate it, do we?” “And, and, and what do you mean take control of our guild? It may not seem like it but it’s a lot easier for you guys to say, the DA has a god, or should I say the god running everything, keeping everyone in check. And TUBA has its own advantages for leadership as well as uncompetitive members. And then there’s us, a normal guild who has to deal with normal problems and doesn’t have any of the shortcuts you guys got handed. Real easy for you to tell us to get back our control, huh?” He cordsed his arms.
