    Rob stood up slowly, picking up two handfuls of grass. “Thanks,” he said. Inside he was amazed. Two compliments in one day? The last time that had happened had been, it had been... years ago? It had been long. His face, of course, remained perfectly still. Holding the blades of grass in his hands, Rob focused and channeled Tension. It was a surge he was unfamiliar with, but using what stormlight was left in his body he made all of the individual grass blades hard and sharp, throwing them towards Shana before getting a sphere out to breath in the stormlight.

    Kill a man and face the consequences, or let politics take over? Things are already tense. This will make things worse. Max thought about the problem. Diplomacy. He was always bad with diplomacy. “If this goes wrong the Ghostbloods night not recover from the political backlash,” he said, scooping up another part of his cake. “We’ll see if he’s connected in any guild, and then we’ll put him for trial, which he will lose, and when he does, it’s only a matter of who’ll execute him.” Max took a bite of the cake again chewing thoughtfully, then swallowing. “He’s going to die either way. Hell, you can kill him yourself, we just need a trial, which will at maximum be an hour considering how he already confessed to the crime, to not make a political mess out of this.” He rested his spoon down. His cake was finished.

    “Woah-oh,” Rob stumbled and hit the ground hard on his left side. He reached out with both hands and grabbed two handfuls of liquid rock, trying to throw them both towards Shana’s face and body and then trying to solidify them when they were on her.

    She’d just batted two of Rob’s rock attacks way, taken one to the body. Rob brought up his arms as stormlight coursed through his veins and she swung a staff at his knee. Breathing out Rob channeled cohesion all through the left side part of his trousers, strengthening it like he had strengthened those ripped parts of his sleeve. The staff hit his knee and bounced off. Looking up he grabbed Shana by both of her shoulders and tried to fling her to the side, charging towards Ben.

    Max took another bite of his cake, watching both of them. What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? Max took another bite. They pass through each other. “Let’s just try and not get in each other’s way,” Max said. “We all want this Vesuvius to pay for his actions, and that’ll happen, no one has to hinder the other.” He softly Rioted calmness in the those around him. @Sorana @Nohadon

    Rob nodded, taking a little stance of his own. He didn’t know who was in his team, but chances were they would probably leave him as well. A rock could only rely on itself for support. Sucking in some stormlight he stepped back and liquefied a small of ground next him, scooping it up and moulding it into a crude sphere, solidifying it and throwing it fast, like a baseball to Shana. As it flew through the air he moulded and solidified another rock ball and through it towards Ben.

    Wilhelm tried taking it back from him, pulling back as hard as he could. “Just like a savage,” he muttered. But did he used to be any different?

    Wilhelm blinked at the lighteyed woman and Renata. “You speak so... fancily.” He frowned. “So, counting what we have. I have,” He rummaged through his pockets and came up with several wrapped slabs of bear meat (uncooked), four knives (he smiled nervously as he took them all out), and a bear trap, with dried blood on the teeth. He quickly hid them away as he brought them all out. “I’ve shown what I have. Now you do the same.”

    Wilhelm nodded. “And a way back? Is there even one?” He didn’t care. He’d joined the expedition for a new life, and he wasn’t going to bother trying to find an escape out of it. He looked to the rest of the people wake up. “One of us should check,” he pointed to the closed cellar door. “What’s outside.”

    Rob saw Flid leave to go to the kitchen, to busy himself to make some food with some other people. Rob was hurt. Not even he fellow Stoneward wanted to spar with Rob, two tries and Rob had been left alone... He of course didn’t show any of this on his face, turning back to Ben, Shana and James. “Ok, James, you’re on my team now, unless you all want to be on the same team.” He looked to Shana, apparently his rock was a reminder. “Ok,” he said, signalling to James @Wyndlerunner @Sorana @Lunamor

    “Fair enough,” the Haunt replied, and went silent once more. “No one taught me to watch. I was forced to. For three hundred years.”

    That would be a diplomatic solution. I like the way you think. ... But we’re still going to ask you if you’re left handed every. Single. Time you write something and then bring out the story that my uncles friend’s sister is left handed so we should totally be friends.

    The Haunt sighed and stilled, floating next to the girl. “To see how they act, who they are really.” And then, he would make them notice him. “And you, why do you watch? I think I know the answer, but it wouldn’t hurt to get an answer.”

    “I know no surgery,” Wilhelm remarked, observing Renata about to kill the ettmetal man, before backing off. Wilhelm sighed. The best time to kill the bear was while he was hibernating. He watched another one get up before falling back down, glass in her leg. Slowly he walked over to her, checking pulses on the bodies along the way. No one dead. For now. When he got to her he crouched down to her level, his eye gazing intensely at her. “Leave it in,” he said. “It will block bleeding.” @ZincAboutIt @Blessing of Potency

    “Wilhelm,” he replied, leaning against a wall and using it to balance as he stood up. “And no injuries, though for some reason I can’t see anything from this eye,” he pointed to the eyepatched eye and laughed. His laugh was weird, more like one short ‘ha!’ than anything of length. “Yes, it seemed like beads, though this ‘highstorm’ thing you talk about, I don’t much of it. The mist is obvious, though. We have angered the Sovereign in some way. But now that it is gone from here, I wonder...” he looked to the closed cellar. “If it is gone from there?” @ZincAboutIt

    Wilhelm awoke with an image of the cellar floor. His eyes widened and he groaned, heaving himself in a sitting position, his back to a wall. Everyone around seemed to still be unconscious, except for one woman he’d seen earlier. The Sovereign has entered, but now what? Had the god just left them? Wilhelm checked himself for injuries, but none were apparent. He looked down to the unconscious with predatory eyes. Licked his lips. No. No, not this time. He shook himself from the daydream and looked up at the woman who was also awake. “What was that?” He asked. @ZincAboutIt
