"So what you're telling me, is that anyone who was present during the warning could be detained?" she crossed her arms skeptically.
-
"It's a long story. I can tell it to you if you want." SepLar nodded at the guy who had just shownup. "Do you wanna hear my story as well?"
-
"Hmm? Me? I guess I should introduce myself." SepLar continued cheerfully, voice echoing out of what appeared to be a solid faceplate, "I'm SepLar, and this," she tappeed the armor "is Kiellan." Tell them I said hello. "Kielan says hi."
-
"Shall we?" SepLar gestured to the ground. She fell backwards off of the roof and slammed into the ground feet first.
-
"Why? Who are you running from?" Sep, I think this boy is on the run from something, far, far worse than us "I agree." she raised her voice "I want to help you. Your friend, the one who you left behind, where is she?"
-
"Perhaps," SepLar said, "I am just curious. I don't even know who you are."
-
SepLar's skin spit open at several points and Armorlings flooded out, covering her body. It took five seconds for the suit to lock into place, but that wasn't long enough. Two bullets slammed into her before the suit could cover her body. The suit was one cool piece of hardware. It appeared to be a single substance, covering her whole body. It hugged her body, looking sleek and rusting awesome. Kiellan had decided on the color scheme. Rust red with white accents. As the Armorlings covered her head and face, she finally spoke "I'm no bounty hunter? Suspicious much?"

The mystery man ducked through a magic gateway. Through the gate, she could see roofing tiles. Kie, look, a portal. Looks like we have an enhanced on our hands." Yes. So now? "Wait. You seem a bit eager, Kie." She jumped up against the side of a building, melting her flesh a little bit so it sunk into the porous brick, and began climbing. She quckly reached the roofline and clambered up, reforming her hands. SepLar quickly spotted the man ducking behind a chimney. "Hi there!" she called out cheerfully "What'cha doing up here?" She looked down, noticing a conner below. Had he been there before?

I was right again. Look at them run. "Yeah, yeah. So do you wanna chase down the guy or the gal?" I would prefer just letting the conners take care of it. But, I think the man would be better. Don't ask me why, Sep, I don't know. "Ok" SepLar responded, knowing not to question him further. She set her sights on the man, who was bolting away and began running after him.
-
SepLar continued walking, now paying close attention to the people around her. Vendors hawked their wares, trying to convince tourists and locals alike that they had the best prices in the market. Urchins wove through the crowds, and police officers were aroundin force. All this she quickly observed with a glance. She cast her eyes about again, this time searching for those who looked suspicious. Her observations found nothing, until Killen spoke up, There, the young couple by the jewelry booth. Look at the way he is slouching, Sep. Those are two who do not want to be noticed. "Well done, Kie. Let's keep an eye on 'em. I want to see where they go." Then the constables announced that there could be fugitives in the area. "The plot thickens. Looks like the conners are looking fora man and a woman. Unlikely it could be a conicidence."
-
SepLar strode confidently through the village, coat flaring out behind her. Hey Sep, I'm getting a bit peckish. the voice in her head mumbled Ok. she thought back brightly Let's get something to eat. Yes. But no rotting meat today. I'm craving bread. SepLar silently agreed and made her towards a bakery stall in the market. She produced enough money to buy three rolls, picked them out and thanked the baker kindly. She continued on her way, chewing on a roll as she walked.

There you go! They might have other things they can do with the Armorlings, but I would have to come up with them first.

Hmm. That's a pretty rocky beach. Perhaps he's doing research on tropical weather. We could be seing more of the Purelake in Book 4....
-
I wonder what beach that is?

Cakuin heaved herself up and surveyed the group, "She's Ciera," she muttered, pointing at her boss, "and I'm Cakuin."
-
Allpowerful Alleymods, I come before you with a statement: Cakuin was never added to the list.
-
*fax machine sounds* So anyway I had a really cool idea for a character.

Dwig looked out over the great plains, contemplative. Roshar was an odd place, so different from his native Scadrial. Everything was adapted to the massive Invested storms that ravaged the continent. Recently, though, bad things had begun to happen. The Ghostbloods were around in force, and things had gotten worse from there. He had been waiting to go to Urithiru for some time now. A woman ran up to him, scroll in her hand, “Brightlord, you will want to hear this.” she panted “There was a battle at Thaylen city. Word has just come in via spanreed.” Dwig raised an eyebrow “The outcome?” he asked “We don’t know, although reports are bad.” He spun, unease bubbling in his stomach. “Not good.” Dwig ran back to the warcamps.

The old man looked up from his phone, where he had been browsing R/OutOfTheLoop in an effort to figure out what was going on.

As the sun finaally fell below the horizon, Ciera smiled widely and waved, a gateway rotating open next to her. A second woman tumbled out of the magic gate. She looked as if she had been sleeping in her clothes and was deathly pale. She rubbed her eyes and looked at Ciera with a curious expression. "Why? I was gonna get over here as soon as I could."
