  1. Reamas was very confused. Now, talking animals were a part of his daily life, but a ghost and wolf in a three-piece suit were definitely not. Not to mention the dwarf muttering words of power, or the girl with a sword drawn. “Can someone please tell me what’s going on here?”
  2. Reamas looked accross the lake, where several figures were standing. While he was watching, Fox tapped him on the shoulder "Hey boss, we should get going." he murmured "I want to go see what's happening on the other side of the lake." Fox nodded, and by a silent agreement, they both turned into birds of prey and flew across the lake. Once they had reached the other side, they tranformed back. Reamas straightened his tie and eyed the odd group. His canine eyes flashed as he studied them one by one, Fox at his shoulder.
  3. Fear sauntered over to the group that was talking "What's going on and dkoes it have anything to do with that train." he asked, and pointed to the train, which hadn't been moved.
  4. Ok. I'll think of something. Should we use the same Surges? Because I kind of want to pick and choose which I want to keep.
  5. Reamas stepped out of the leyportal and on to a platform made of white stone. Leyportals were recent inventions, having only been introduced a few years ago. They had allowed for near-instantaneous transport between two points, given that the points were perfectly lined up. He cast his eyes over the various other leyportals, selecting the one that he needed. As he walked over to it, his righthand, Fox, came through the layportal leading to Gathering "The others are already there, preparing the safehouse for our arrival." "Well then," Reamas smiled and activated the layportal "Let's not keep them waiting." The leyportal flashed white, blinding the conmen. When their vision returned, they were looking over a peaceful lake.
  6. Reamas looked out his office window, over the city. He could see almost everything from his office. The trash piles in the slums, to the glowing lights and gaudy shine of the casino district. He could almost see the other filth as well. Corrupt politicians, dirty cops, and roving gangs. All part of living in the worst city on the planet. Not that he cared. The filth made it easy to pull off heists. He stood from his desk and kicked the window open. It was time to visit the boss. Reamas jumped out, transforming into a hawk on the way down. He dove, wind shooting past him, and transformed back into a human right before he hit the sidewalk. Animal people weren’t exactly common, but, they were a normal enough sight that most on the sidewalk continued on their way. Reamas, or as he was known in the People, Coyote, stepped into the waiting limousine and told the driver to go. Ten minutes later, Reamas was at the boss’s headquarters. An exclusive club in the heart of the casino district. He nodded to the doormen and stepped inside. Music blasted into ears, low, with a strong bassline. He made his way across the crowded floor towards a set of double door flanked by two massive bouncers. “This is a private area. You can’t go in here.” one of them growled, it was so low that Reamas could feel it as well as hear it. “Ok, but what if I had a pass.” “Well, then you could go in. But I don’t see you showing me a pass, so you don’t get to go in.” “So I don’t have a pass, but I loaned it to my boss, who's in there. So if you let me in, then I could get it and show it to you.” The bouncer scratched his head “Okay, you can go in, but you need to show me a pass when you leave.” “Fine.” The massive bouncer moved out of the way, and allowed him past. Reamas nodded to the bouncers, who pushed the doors open for him. He strode in like he owned the place, which he basically did. “Well boss, I have the report you wanted.” “Good, good, give it to me.” Reamas gave his report, and hung around for a while, before finally heading back to his team’s headquarters in the business district.
  7. Fear took a look out the window. They were moving through True Madrial. He jumped up and waved the the other constables. He scooped up his messenger bag and made his wayto the end of the car. The train jolted to a stop just before pulling into the station. Fear knew why. He walked over to the end of the car and stepped out. He strode past the train he had taken and valuted up on to the platform like he owned the place.
  8. Reamas took a sip of coffee, lost deep in thought. This con was not going as well as it could. There were too many moving pieces, which, if given momentum, could cause the whole con to collapse like a citadel of cards. He needed to push some of the more crucial pieces in another direction. He scribbled a note in a gridpaper notebook full of plans.
  9. Can I be a person from a native American legend?
  10. Fear folded up his copy of the Elendel Daily and looked out the window. They were still in the Basin, but far from Elendel. He chacked his watch. It was getting to be late afternoon. Perhaps he would head to the dinning car and get something to eat. Yes, that sounded like a good idea. He got up from his chair and porposefully made his way to the dining car.
  11. Someone said anime was an art form and got kicked off a cliff for his efforts.
  12. Sadly, the jokes went over most of the population's collective head, as only a select few were allowed to watch MCU movies.
  13. Yet Narrator Dapper wanted them to go to Fallen so he could create more plots. So to Fallen they went.
  14. He did, however, dig out Eveyone, Nobody, and CApITALIZATION and toss them at the thread where AJ came from.
  15. However, a real crisis occurred as the Butt Venture Offical Cardboard Cut-Out that someone had propped in the corner fell over.
  16. "But, friend, I am here to help you. Don't you know who I am?" he looked down at himself, "Oh, wait. I don't look like myself currently. Well, I can change that quickly." the odd man snapped his fingers and a light, not quite Stormlight, engulfed him. In fact, the light looked like Scadrian mist. When the light cleared, a different man stood there. He was young, well built with long raven hair and hawklike features. He wore a very odd outfit. It changed from a robe, to armor, to a white t-shirt and jeans, to a dark bodysuit while they watched. It was a bit hypnotizing. There was only one constant between all the outfits. A sticker, on which was printed seven words; Hello there! My name is Butt Venture
